Now I want the world's best chocolate-dipped shortbread cookie. I'm glad that we don't have any in the house, because I WOULD eat one. Or two.

They're 6" soft, buttery cookies, half-dipped in chocolate. *faint* They are SO good!

I can't bring you cookies if I don't make them, lol. which I haven't.

I went upstairs to my quiet room (dd18 had a couple friends over playing games on the tv...one of which is not my favorite person. he drives me nuts. and the other I don't really know. just met him the other day. dd said he's more of an aquaintence, friend of the other friend right now but he eats lunch with the same group at school). ANYway, I went upstairs and laid down on the bed and watched cold case.

making dinner now.

dd18 bought an xbox 360 last night. I got home from the shelter about 7:20 or so to find out she had walked to target to buy one. uh, it's DARK out THERE! I don't want her walking home after dark by herself unless its an emergency. the goofy kid just wanted to buy it and didn't think it'd be dark before she got home (even though, dd20 said it was already starting to get dark when she left). sometimes I could just shake the kid who has little common sense...but I love her.

I went down and found her at target so she could get a ride home.

bb in a few minutes. gotta check on stuff in the kitchen.

Oh no! I just remembered that I have a recipe for some that taste almost as good!

They're really easy to make--just butter, corn starch, powdered sugar, and yumminess!

Our dog has taken to acting like she is supposed to be in front playing w/ the kids when they're out there. She just came running, whining loudly, and jumped against the back door!

Yeah, that'll make me let you out*.

the ding dong COULD have called me. I was planning on going to target after the shelter anyway. I changed my mind but she didn't know that. she could have called and either had me come get her or walked down there but made sure I would meet her to pick her up. she doesn't think things through some times.
