I'm better. not all the way well, but almost human

. my back is really hurting though for some reason. ack, need some days where there is no pain or illness, lol

good thing is I found it I only have to go in early ONE more day early and then I will be able to go back to helping in the classrooms. well, no school here on Friday so that means I will have ONE day this week with my kids.

What kind of testing are they doing this early in the year?

MAP testing, or the Measure of Academic Progress, is a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child's academic growth.

the entire school tests fall and spring and the kids in special classes test in winter also. they do a reading and math test and,maybe science too but not sure about that.

we've been using them in the school the last few years. they are computerized and the teachers have access to all sorts of information the following day on each student or by "class" whichever way they want.

It's raining cats and dogs here! Or was on my way home. I saw my gym on the way home and decided to stop and work out.

Really glad I did! I feel SO much better! Tomorrow night I am going to see DS on the Praise team at his new church

He is so excited that I am coming. I am not singing at my church this coming Sunday so I don't have to go to practice tomorrow night. They have about an hour service on the first Wednesday night of every month with the Lord's Supper and lots of worship music.

I am so glad he loves it so much!

ain't that the truth! I have a trip to Dayton OH. in the spring, a trip to Orlando in the spring, a band trip in the spring, (not sure where yet) but none of them are for ME, they are all church or school related. I gotta start saving now just for those.

Thanks Robin! I so know what you mean about the trips too. We will now probably be going to Florida soon since DH's stepdad is so bad off and Pittsburgh at the end of the month. We'll really have to cut those trips down as much as possible just to be able to still make them.

if it wasn't for my kids I would be trying to work out more trips to PF and VA and everywhere else as much as I could...doesn't help to be completely financially dependent on DH...not that he minds....but there is only so much gallivanting about the country he will let me do.. I have a friend who keeps begging him to let me go to Australia with her. She is friends with Darlene Zeush of Hillsong and wants me to go to her church and meet Darlene as well as some of the women's ministers there. DH has said nopenopenope. lol...
