I know what you mean I felt pretty rotten the first week, wondering if I would make it. I just stuck with it and didn't push myself much. I lost 6lbs. that 1st. week so it was well worth it.

Hiya, Penny!
Can't believe you're already having another Bday! I remember the last one (I thought you were about 28!)

Mary-as always, thanks for the new thread. Good job on responding to the newbies! The board has really picked up. Always happens when an article comes out about Wendy.

Tam-I remember how dusty it was there! I'm having a problem with it here since our bathroom work started. Just seems like there's so much more of it. We're still waiting on the trim guy to put up the molding near where the wall meets the ceiling. The cabinet knobs need to be done then the job will be complete and I'll try to post some pics.

Skeller-good luck starting today! Remember, week one must be done perfectly. Wendy says it's not really necessary to exercise during week one and honestly,I didn't have the energy to. I guess if you felt like walking it couldn't hurt. You can do it!!

to all the newbies. Hope you like this woe as much as we do. It really does change the way you look at food.

Okay, gotta get my day started. Have a good one Crackers!
Love your new avatar, and your hair! Can't wait to see the photos!! Are you using the new bathroom yet?

BB? What's that- oh- is the thread going to be closed down? Dangerous- we may just all gain allour weight back- sorry- INCHES!!!

Hey Vas- love that Crackilacking!!!
Great to see everyone, plus the newbies, back and enthusiastic. What's going on?

It's been a long day- great - 2 couples here with kids- I love watching the cousins interact- DH and I popped out for awhile this evening to pray at "The Wall"- (it's the last standing wall from the 2nd Temple courtyard) here's a live cam- it was more crowded early in the evening. This morning there over 30,000 people there- when we were there there about 6:30PMish were afew thousand. It's a much larger area than it looks like on the camera.
Window on the Wall
Now it's almost 11pm. Wish DS12 would go to sleep- the older boys are out with friends at their holiday parties. My eating hasn't been too bad- had some chocolate today- and right away it makes my CF (chronic fatigue) worse- I can't wait to get back on track.

Remember the carb deplete is HORRIBLE but you will get through it and you NEVER have to do it again.

Do they have it on the Web? The one I found doesn't seem to be one that would publish such an article.

Kelley! Hope you have a good one!

Thanks for the picture compliments. I just get tired of the same one all the time. Remember when Jackie used to change her avitar several times a day?

Skeller-yep,a headache seems to go with the territory. I also felt weak and had trouble sleeping. But it was soooo worth it!

Tam-Yes,the bathroom is up and running including the Jacuzzi. Pictures to follow soon,(hopefully).

My honey just got home. See you Crackers in the morning.

Hi Crackers, My day is almost over...shutting the doors to the shop now. Thank goodness, I am beat.

I do have a question. Can I make my carb deplete week into 4 days? I am having a lot of problems with my blood sugar dropping.
So far, I have been down to 55. Not good, and then I need to take a glucose tablet or 3. So I was hoping I can cut to week 2 and start adding some carbs back.

I know I made it 7 days last year, but right now I am really struggling with my diabetes and low numbers. Not an easy feat when I own a chocolate shop. LOL No taste testing here. LOL
Thanks for your input, I await your responses....

Jody you know she said if you did the deplete right the FIRST time you NEVER have to do it again. AND when you re-cycle you do 4 carb down days.

Thanks for the link here.

I went back and listened again to Tip No. 1:

If you do not have sugar or diabetic health issues, then if you will do the 12 minute workout within the first hour of waking up, then your body will access fat and calories 300% faster and burn-up to 142% more calories the hour afterward, and elevate your metabolism up to 48 hours afterward.

If this doesn't sound like anything you've heard or learned from them before, then it seems I should get the CD. I don't know if it is an actual CD received in the mail, or just a download with the information.

Ok, I'll check back later. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much Mary. I completely forgot about that. Yeah, just one more day for carb Down.

Last time, I did the week perfectly and lost 11 #. That just shows how out of wack my body really was.

Wow! The board is hopping! Hi, everyone! What a weekend I had with my dad! We went to his, and mine, hometown of Monticello Kentucky. My mom went too and stayed with her sister. I wanted to make sure she had a good break!

Daddy and I got up on Saturday morning and had breakfast with my Aunt Mallie, his only living sibling (out of 14). It was wonderful. We went to the family cemetery, got a "Pool Hall" hamburger (something my dad always used to do), then started visiting family. I knew we only had 2 days there, but I wanted us to see as many people as possible. On Saturday evening we went to a "Molasses Making". Amazing! They make a whole day of it, lots of food, good company and a bluegrass band! My dad played the guitar and sang with this bluegrass band! I put pictures on my fb.

So, I have had a most wonderful experience with my dad this weekend. I will have no regrets ever with him. He is a most wonderful man, has had many difficulties throughout life, but I've decided I'm just going to love him and enjoy him!

I am so happy to see so many new people on the board. You all keep us excited, and even though I'm not following this WOE to a 't", I will always carry some of the principles of this plan with me. I can't leave though because I love all these women way too much to give them up.

Vasi, wonderful to see you my friend! Penny, the cake is gorgeous! Dede hope you enjoy your cruise and that your birthday was wonderful. Kelley, Happy Birthday to you, girlfriend. You beautiful girl you!

Vladis, Linda, Carol (good to see you again), Cindi, T** (Happy Sabbath), and to all the newbies a great big to the group. We are very happy you are here!

Hello ladies,

Jackie, welcome back!!! I am so glad you had a great time with your Dad. I know you will cherish those memories for years.

Dede - I love this new photo of yours!!! You had the most radiant and sincere of smiles!!! And, of course, your hubby looks great too - as he should smiling there next to you

Mary - you are just awesome. What else can I say?

Kelley - . Have a great time with your family! I seem to recall that Mexican is your favorite food. ENJOY!!!

Tam - I kept meaning to react to your cleaner story. We used to have people clean our house. I would clean the house before they come and then re-clean it after they left as it was never as cleat as i wanted it to be. Then we couldn't afford it any longer and now I clean it all by myself. oh how I wish my "imperfect" cleaners were back!!!

Penny - great cake! I am sure it tasted as great as it looked

Vasi - yeah!!!!!!!! She is back!!!!!!

I got home late and it is too late to eat "normal" dinner so I am munching on a bawl of blueberries, walnuts and Greek yogurt.

OK, I forgot what else I was going to say. Need to go and read some more and post again

Hi Vladis, Yes, that's my Jasmine. She only tolerates the Santa hat for a treat.
Love your dog too, with the Halloween. Couldn't live without my babygirl, she is so spoiled and fat. Maybe she needs some Crackin' too. LOL
