Hello to all from once again, cold and rainy ND.... will it ever stop?!?! ARGHHHH
Anyhow it's Friday so @ least one good thing is going so far... made some parmesean crusted tilapia last night I had gotten @ Sams- OMG was that good... it came frozen and just pop in the oven and it was wonderful....My cop academy training class got cxld last night due to all the rain etc... we were to be out @ the shooting range and I guess it was nothing but a pile of mud etc... so have to make that one up on Oct 13th...Anyhow not much to report here- nothing planned for the wknd yet... maybe get in some house cleaning and what have ya... anyhow off for now good day to you all..ROCKIN'

Tomorrow I am making a day trip to Buffalo for shopping with a friend of mine....I am also meeting a friend from the ZC message board....I ordered some pemmican from a company that doesn't ship to Canada and I had it delivered to her house....Monday I am shipping some to British Columbia and Quebec for other friends who wanted to try it.......I am nervous about leaving W for such a long time but I will get some soup ready and a few protein drinks that Kate can whip out for him as he needs them....yesterday his new lift chair was delivered....I am so incredibly happy that we chose to go into debt to buy him this chair...it was $1,899 but I cannot describe how happy I was to finally see him sitting comfortably for the first time in months....I may get some back from my health plan but I'm not sure...he just needed it and we bought it...now he can get up and down on his own and he isn't too exhausted to walk up the 3 steps to the bathroom....

Closing up the pool today. But, first a trip to the pool store (again) to buy yet another winter cover. Too many grommets (sp?) blown on the other one. We just fight the wind all the time due to our location. So, another $70.00 for pool stuff and DH just was there to buy new cable for the cover...needs to be a stronger cable system I guess.

Beautiful autumn day outside...a little too cool for it being early October but whatcha gonna do.

Lise...I'm blanking again...what does ZC mean? Is that Zero Carb? I'm terrible at remembering right now. Not enough sleep. Oh yes....hope you had a fabo time in Buffalo!! Let us know about all those treasures.

Morning all- quick hi and bye since I have a mtg to get ready for this morning... wknd was good did not do a whole lot worth talking about but got some house cleaning done, shopping and got a new lite/chandalier put in in our dining area & I just love it- alot more light so DH & I worked on that yesterday...anyhow off for now good day to all....cool yet again today- some parts of ND they are already saying the S word...ARGHHHH to soon-yuck

Well another rainy, cool dreary day here in ND- enough of the rain... ARGHHH Course better than the S word but I'm sure it will be here before we know it... do not like the sound of that thats for sure.... Anyhow not much new here- chiro/accupuncture appt today so off work early... back is still not up to par so hopefully the adjustment will do me some good- seems like the last one did not do much since my lower back was still pinching on and off... arghhh why did I not marry a chiro. I'll never know?!?! haha Oh well the DH I have I'll keep cause he is wonderful to even though he can't crack my back all that well..haha anyhow off for now good day to you all!! ROCKIN'

I was 187 this morning...I can hardly believe this is happening to me...I have never in my life gone 18 months on any plan...I know I have progressed from my start in April of 2008 when I gave up sugar/starch/starchy vegetables to doing EFGT and now ZC (yes Charlene, that's zero carb which is really just nothing that grew from a plant)....it has been a learning process for me of how to nourish my body and in so doing my body is rewarding me by dropping this fat I have carried around all my life and also my insulin is under control and my diabetes is totally under control as well...I am so thankful to have put cravings behind me and to finally have control over this part of my life...

Happy hump day all- well my chiro/accupuncture appt went well hoping to feel some relief today- so far it seems better so hope it sticks I go back again Fri a.m. Well sure is another cool morning here- they are saying low morning temps over the wknd of like 25 or so..ARGHHHH Oh well as long as the snow holds off I will not complain..teehee Anyhow off for now good day to you all ~~~ ROCKIN'

well almost quittin time thankfully and looking forward to the wknd as always.
Next wknd the 16-18th we are having a girls wknd - we are going to Duluth, MN which is on Lake Superior so it REALLY is gonna be cold here thats for sure. I am going with my mom and 2 of my other sisters- should be alot of fun. anyhow off for now have a good day all ~~~

morning all- well here we go for another fun-filled day @ work....hahaha Not alot to report on my end lately- got my "cop shop training" as I call it tonight... tonight it is K-9 night so should be fun to watch the dogs in action and all that they can do... we will be outside for part of the night so I best dress warm since it is to get in the 20's they say...ARGHHHH tis the season fast approaching and I'm not liking it as usual.... anyhow will be late checking in tomorrow since I have another chito appt @ 7:20am... think I might finally be getting a handle on this back pain- I think?? Late checking in since I had another chiro appt- think my back may FINALLY be back where it should be- neck was very stiff and sore tks to alot of arthritis in it but he did some accupuncture on it and it already feels better so thats incouraging... anyhow best get crackin since I just got to work will ck in later if time allows... Good morning to all- well another wknd here and gone...it was an ok wknd I guess.. Our spare car that we have @ home DH had parked outside our house on the street and someone Sat night hit it and damaged the whole drivers side- I'm guessing they were DUI and left the scene so that was NOT a good thing for us- we only have liability on it so needless to say DH was NOT in a good mood the rest of the day. Anyhow cool here today few snowflakes on and off over the wknd-ARGHHH
I am off work Fri since it is girls wknd in Duluth, MN- we are leaving about noonish and it is like a 4 hr drive so should be fun- I need some get out of town down time...haha ok off for now later all

morning all from brisk Fargo, ND- temp this morning was a chilly 19 degrees BUT it is to maybe warm up to the 30's today!! Morning all and happy hump day already!! WooHoo Well actually this is my Thurs since I'll be MIA Friday and off to Duluth for a fun-filled wknd.... Pistol range last night was a blast- really enjoyed that. We got to shoot 15 shots @ certain targets and I got 10 out of the 15 so he said I did a great job!! Yaaahhhh~~~ Asked him if my shooting was good enough for Swat Team and he said well maybe not yet!! hahaha Anyhow off for now hope you all have a great day~~ ROCKIN'

Good morning to all- well wknd was fun in duluth and we did not get into too much trouble...teehee My mom is feeling better so thats good- weather was nice for us in the 50's so we had good weather for driving up the North Shore along lake superior and sight seeing.... Anyhow back to work and reality once again... DD's are still sick as is Ethan- colds, cough, temp here and there and they were over Fri before I left town so hoping I do not get sick now.... will see didn't feel all that great this morning so off to pop some more vitamins...till next time ROCKIN'

hello all- well feeling a little better today- somehow knocked off that darn headache I had for most of the day yesterday so thats good... Not to much new here- oldest DD & Ethan came over to visit grams last night- when they were ready to go he ran the other way- told Mandy he doesn't wanna leave gramma...teehee He's feeling better and got over whatever it was he had so things are looking up and now if I can stay "sick free".... Happy Hump Day all- well half way thru the week which is a good thing.... Rainy yet again today but it is to quit tonight and be nicer tomorrow so they say.... we are getting water logged so hope it stops soon. Anyhow not much new here- trying to stay ahead of the game and not get sick- seems like everyone here is getting something or another... So I keep taking my vitamins religiously in hopes I do not get sick.... been waking up every morning though w/red eyes and a headache- don't know what thats all about but I'm thinking of maybe getting an air purifier so if anyone has any tips on what kind to buy let me know. Morning all on this almost Friday..WooHoo Cop shop class again tonight- think tonights topic is DWI's and drug busts etc.
so that should be very exciting.... am loving these classes.. think we get done like right before Thanksgiving or so... I've learnt alot and really have alot more respect for cops now after seeing all what they go thru and especially all they go thru to be a cop... very intense- don't know if I ever could have done it- well maybe in my younger yrs but my body surely could not handle it now...teehee Anyhow off for now hope you all have a great day. Headache is better today- took some allergy pills and they seemed to have helped although I am gonna try a nasal rinse to see if that helps also- I know DH has some some that on my agenda to try next to see if it helps- ok off for now R- P.S. The story published Tuesday ranked the top 100 cities in which to raise kids, with Burlington, Vt., named as the best and Madison, Wis., named second.

Well "cop shop class" last night was alot of fun- the topics we covered were DWI's and drug related crimes... it was very interesting... Next week we go to another location (one of the local community colleges) actually the one my oldest DD attends and we get to use the simulater for shoot and not shoot sceanrios- so that should be totally cool.... I'll have to remember to not be trigger happy ..teehee
Well wknd is finally upon us and thats wonderful- gonna go shopping for new linoleum for my kitchen so DD's are gonna come and help me pick out something- they are into that kind of stuff re: home remodeling- I am not much into that so will need their help...anyhow off for now hope you all have a stellar day!!
