Good night everyone!
Why haven't you been on plan all week? You were only going out to eat one meal? In order to keep on track you may have to make adjustments as you go. Don't say screw it when you eat out. Find options that are on your plan. The more you go off plan, the more it is harder to get back on. When I started eating this way I just decided I HAD to do it no matter what.

I know this sounds harsh, but sacrifices may need to be made.

You can be as harsh as you want, but it's my life-my choice.

Just speaking from experience I Know how hard it is to get back on track. I hate to see others struggling with it.

I was UP another 0.8 of a lb this morning. No surprise. I expected that from the BK sojourn. Yesterday was on plan and today will be too.

Yesterday’s Menu:
L: 1 cup chicken soup w/pat of butter & 1 Tbsp cream
D: T-Bone Steak

Went to the store on the way home from DD's and got some more of those T-bones. They are beautiful and have a LOT of flavor. At $3.99 a lb I just couldn't pass up getting more of them. A store here opened a new location last week and they are having great specials right now only at the new location. They have butchers who really know how to cut meat. None of this "paper-thin" steaks garbage passed off as regular steaks. You can get them cut that way if you want, but you have to request it.

Guess I'd better get my rear in gear. Gotta repackage my T-bones and head over to DD, Sheri's, to put them in her freezer. I am so fortunate to have a shelf there.

See you all later or tomorrow!!

I actually am doing a "test". I went off plan this week (not the whole week people, just a little) to hopefully bump my weight loss when I go back on strict Atkins Induction.

I wasn't losing by being faithful - I had stalled big time, so I'm seeing if going off a little and then going back on LC very strictly to see if it will kick-start my weight loss.

Like it was said, adjustments need to be made and I'm seeing if this works.

So, now you know.

Ah, carb cycling. It just might work!

I had real pizza last night and popcorn. So, maybe I am carb cycling, ARGH. Son was given a pizza from Papa Murphy's shaped like a pumpkin. I knew I was going to be eating it.

Today I am burning it off. I exercised when I got up, painted the front door, raked and burned leaves, helped son clean gutters, painted 2nd coat on front door, painted outside trim on 3 windows that haven't been replaced yet, did a load of laundry and finally showered and sat down about an hour ago.

Good morning....I was UP another 0.4 of a lb this morning. I was on plan yesterday but not enough fluids because I was out and about most of the day. However, I am DOWN for the week. Not much, just 0.8 of a lb, but considering the BK meal, I'm just glad it isn't UP for the week.

Yesterday’s Menu:
L: 1-1/2 cups chicken soup w/pat of butter & 1 Tbsp cream
D: 10 oz. Ribeye Steak

Gotta run....

Hi everyone,

Just checking in. It's amazing who quickly the scale jumps up when I go off program even a little. Oh, well, I'm looking forward to starting induction again tomorrow - off to the grocery store tonight to stock up.

Have a great day!

Thanks! I had it taken at my 30th anniversary luncheon.

I don't like pictures of myself, but needed one for Facebook.

I wonder if this works. Today is June,2013 and I am about 90 lbs more than what I was touting in this thread. Too bad the stats don't stay the way they were when posts were made.
