Misty, good for you keeping up the exercise while you are not 100%.

Stephenie, you are rockin' it now girl - great work .

I'm feeling 'off' today, lack of energy mostly. Tried to do a workout this morning but only managed 15min . At least is was something and supposed to be walking this afternoon so that'll make up an hour I guess. Felt like I needed to shake things up a bit today so I've had 2 flax muffins, ham & cheese for breakfast and I made a chorizo sausage, pumpkin, mushroom & cabbage with cheese meal for lunch - will be nice to have a hot lunch for a change. So far my calories are over 1000 and carbs @ 15g so might be a bit of a high day, although we are having butter cajun fish for tea probably with riced cauliflower.

Just wish I wasn't feeling so ..... blah! There's no other word for it today. Hopefully tomorrow morning is better as I have a big day tomorrow - workout in the am, starting to buy/make stuff for DDs birthday party, dancing meeting & training in the afternoon and dance party Saturday night. Just found out I'm not working Sunday so at least I can spread the party stuff out over the weekend a bit. Better get back to work, I've been a bit lazy here the last few days (party planning ) so have to do some work today - what's with that .

oh, that's quite small I think I need to separate it back out. Task for tonight @ home as it's only 5 minutes to knock-off here.

Oz, did I forget to post my Wednesday? I'll go back and find it. Edit: my Wed. post is on pg. 7

Anyway, Thursday 10/8

Carbs: 11
Exercise: none

I hope I even show a loss for these 2 weeks, TOM is here, and I weighed yesterday and was UP A DARN POUND!!! What the heck??? I weighed myself 5 days in to this challenge, and was down 3....I really expected to lose at least 5 by the end of the challenge (10 lbs a month is my average). I hate TOM, and I hate the scale. Hopefully it'll all balance out by Monday AM for the final weigh in!

I'm right there with ya - was showing a loss but this morning I was up, back to the challenge start weight. I'm hoping that it's because my water intake was down yesterday. Drinking it today for sure!!

Today was quite eventful, we had movie night and as uaual I was in charge of making food, sigh, I made tacos with all the fixins, with home made pretzels, salty and sweet, string potato fries, popcorn, chips and salsa and cheese dips and all sorts of icecream, WHEW, I didn't cheat of course, I had my mom taste all the food before serving and she approved

I'm exhausted, so no workouts, but I ran around all day preparing the food, so thats my excercise

have a great weekend everyone

Fri 9/9

Oz, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that food sounds great!

Breakfast: bacon
Lunch: pumpkin bake (5)
Dinner: 2 tiny hamburger pattys
Sacks: almonds (4) sunbutter (3)

Total carbs: 11 I DIDN'T EAT ANY VEGGIES! bad girl
Exercise: no

I've already decided my goals for cycle 3 if there will be one:

1) Strict about water consumption-I've been horrible about this!
2) Strict about taking my vitamins, omegas, calcium
3) More serious about workouts- I plan to state up front what my days are, and stick to it like glue

Of course, also staying OP, which I've done great on this cycle.

Friday:
18 grams
45 minutes exercise

I just realized that my 'matchstick' way of keeping track of carbs (what I do when I don't use Fitday) is off! See, I have 20 matchsticks and I move one for each carb gram, and when I'm out of them I'm done for the day. Anyway, I am short TWO matchsticks! Every day I've used this system I've eaten two grams fewer than I thought. Too bad I figured it out. It was a good accident and way to fool myself.

<hanging my head in shame>

Had a bit of a blow out last night, involving 3 glasses of wine, WAY too many cashews and Lindt 85% chocolate . Oh well it's done now and I enjoyed it - maybe I needed the carbs/calories as I feel much better today and managed a massive workout this morning - 1.5hrs consisting of HIIT + cardio, UB Weights + cardio & yoga.

I have had a low carb/calorie day today, mostly protein & fat will have some veg with dinner though. I am also going dancing tonight so fingers crossed I'll be back in ketosis tomorrow and the water weight will be gone before Monday boot camp weigh in.

Yes there will be a cycle #3, unfortunately I'll miss the end of the cycle as I'll be at bellydance camp. But with the time difference I'll be able to record all the weigh-in results, just will be a day late with my own as I'm not home until about lunch time on the Monday. Which reminds me I need to go advertise for cycle #3, in the mean time here's the updated spreadsheet:-

Oz, I'm glad to hear you feel better after your little food & wine episode. My philosophy: That type of thing is actually beneficial, as long as they're few and far between, and it only lasts for that one episode. (no "bleeding" into the next day) Plus, you're a lot farther along than me, so I guess you can afford it every so often. At least you chose healthy foods, huh? Your belly dancing camp sounds AWESOME!!! I would love to start taking some dance classes, yoga, that type of thing, but I just want to get under 200 first.

I also wanted to edit my last post, fieldofroses1 you're movie night food sounded really tasty, plus you had stuff you could eat there, too. SMART!

o.k dookie, just got back from my 7 mile run. Was o.k, my legs were a little dead and by mile 6 totally dead. So I ran 1 more and called it. I wanted to do just more than 5 miles, so I made my goal and I only had 3 beers last night Ultra lights, so I was good.

carbs today I am sure around 15. like always.

before my run I had eggs, and ham and coffee. So I was not hungry at all. Just my legs were wiped out. so it is still 1 hour 21 min.

seven miles sounds amazing, so far I've gone up to 5, but that's very challenging, maybe someday it will be a breeze

Hi guys, just popping in quickly to update the spreadsheet. Will post it tonight waiting to see if a few more come in to update their figures before then. Off now to start the thread for Cycle #3 and advertise it in the main lobby. Enjoy your weekends.

OK that's done & my LC berry slice is in the oven - figured I'd take something to dance training today that I can actually eat rather than being tempted with other stuff. Knowing my luck there won't be any other food today .

field- you can do it. It is hard to go an extra mile, but you can do it. If you go out and run, run slow and just tell yourself, one more mile, you can do it.It is just ONE more. you can do it. It is like saying I only have to jog 10-12 min.. more. you willfeel so good, and you pushed yourself. I was tired at 5, I was tired at 6, you just don't quit. It is not in option. And then when you run 6, the next time it is a long distance run, you go one more. I usually run 1 long on the weekends. During the week there a bunch of 3-4 miles along with spin and weights.

OZ- Thank you so much for all your work. It was nice to see all the hours I worked out. tomorrow I have another 40 min planned. Thank you so much. I would never in a million years, have any idea how you do it. I am so computer lame it is not even funny. I think I can copy and paste. that is my tech.. Thanks again. Can we do another 2 weeks and so on forever.. LOL. I love comming here and seeing all of us working so hard.. and seeing the graph,it is super cool. And I only had 3 beers again tonight. and it was happy hour so I had them early at 4 and home by 6:30 PM.. perfect night.

you are welcome Stephanie. Glad this is working for you. I'm planning on keeping going possibly until I hit goal or close to it. At this stage I am happy to keep running boot camps even if I'm not fully participating, I'll still be doing my exercise and LCing obviously just not induction levels into pre-maintenance .

Had a fairly good food day today, although I'm not sure I've logged everything . Food & exercise looked like this today:-

B - 1 egg & 1 rasher of bacon off the BBQ @ the markets
S - 1 cup strawberry infusion tea (no idea how much this was, discovered afterwards there were actually pieces of dried strawberries in the tea)
L - leftover 'Mocafony & Cheese' re-baked with some pre-cooked chicken & mushrooms
Dance Training (1hr)
S - 2 pieces of Cream Cheese & Berry slice (LC)
D - Aktins Meatloaf (from Linda Sue's site) with cabbage, zuccini & squash

Carbs 21g, Calories ~1700 and 1hr exercise

Weigh-in in the morning for me as it's already Sunday night here. Hoping the scale is friendly, especially after Friday night. Enjoy your Sundays everyone.
