mel wing dings are when they cut a whole chicken wing into 3 parts, the pointed end they toss and then you have the part that looks like a teeny drumb stick and the other meaty part and they usually deep fry it. They are so good. Dip in ranch dressing.

Up here in New York we just call them chicken wings. lol

I live by Buffalo,which is supposed to be the "chicken wing capital of the world".

Hey Mel, what part of Canuckland are you from? I live across the lake from Toronto.

That's far away from me! I am on the complete opposite end.

Do you guys have jokes about west coasters (BC) versus east coasters (Ontario) like we do?

The East calls the West the "Left Coast" because of liberal views, etc. It's always a friendly bantering about differences between the two area cultures.

I need some snack ideas since I'm giving up cheese. I already have tuna, green olives, celery, cucumber.

MY gosh Mel you are almost at your freakin' goal!!! Holy smoke. Do you have any before /current pics???

OK snack idea's....wings with franks hot sauce..thats 3 times i have posted that today !!! LOL

and avacado is a great snack,i like it straight up with pepper
nuts and seeds,deviled eggs,pepparoni

Oh my, I can't believe you have not heard of wind dings before. Tee Hee, this reminds me when I went to ct and asked for a pop and everyone was clueless...... it took me a while but the call it soda. Man that was funny! Congrats to those losing.......

Yes and its 39 so 110 degree's in your language

Mel wow 110 that everso hot. When I first read 39 I was thinking holy crap winter already It does come to fast. Have a great week-end camping.

msmoni isn't funny how word change as you go from state to state. Last year I went up to main and order a meatball grinder and they didn't have clue what I ment I had to expain because they call them hoagies or subs. And they do say pop instead of soda.

Shelly I make , deviled eggs, ham and dill pickle roll ups. Seafood or egg salad rolled in romain lettuce. Pepperoni chips are good too. and my favorite when I have a sweet attach is mock sf rootbeer float. YUM

Mel ok now that is hot. I was thinking it was cold there...but I get it now. I usually cook it in the oven on a cookie sheet with butter, garlic, salt, and cinnamon-very little. or I grill it with the same ingredients, but u have to be careful not to over cook it or it will be dry. Once it flakes it is done. It was yummy!

Misty- I know it is funny and always a cool learning experience. ok, I have to learn about this mock root beer, tell all. Yummy Just read u will be off to Sun. I will have to wait till them, do have fun on your camping trip.

It is melting off me! I keep waiting for the losses to slow down and step on the scale two or three times before I actually believe what I am seeing. The difference for me now is I count cals (horror of all horrors I know) 1200-1400 a day. When I tried to go by eating to hunger I would usually just maintain or lose sooo very slowly that I would lose my motivation. Congrats on the loss! I have to limit cheese and cream too. Jeanie

Jeaniem - I practically got attacked on that main lobby thread for even suggesting that calories mattered.

There are a lot of people who can't eat as much as they want - especially when you get older (menopause and older). I know at 45 I am losing much slower than I did at even 42.

Congrats on further weight loss! What is the difference between the 1st and 2nd number in your profile?

My highest weight is 321. When I joined lcf in 2006 I was 313. So I am finally below that number. Then I took about 3 months to lose 60 lbs. Except I am losing slower this time but I don't care!!! I'm in it for life and death.
