Farming. Nuff said! Actually, I was at FT to help out a friend. She just started her farm and needs money, so I let her do some harvesting for me. I'm saving all my harvests this week for her so she can build up some money. She's at the stage where she can't even plant her whole farm because she doesn't have the cash.

Awww Marie back to you! I'm sorry you're not liking your job, but as you say, at least you're still there.

Lora to you too!

Gotta run, but I'll check in from work! I hate being all caught up! It makes for some pretty slow days!
How weird, it didn't bring over the posts from the people I was answering. Oh well, I don't have time to fix it now! See ya later, gators!

How did I do for the challenge? Don't ask. Two words: summer fruit. I love it, but my body can't handle it.

That's the spirit! We must never give up, because we know what happens when we do.

Stats: -20 towards goal of 30lbs. gone by my birthday!
WOE: Atkins
Start Date: on-going since birth
My goals:

get more water - did increase water intake
exercise 3-4x - no so good, but I did exercise each week so I'm not going to stress, recommiting this week to 3x a week
re-read the book - started reading and got through induction, no further - will continue to read as climbing the ladder is the info I need
prep meals in advance -
Continue to work on my birthday goal of losing 30lbs, 12lbs more to go by August 20th. - well this is still in process, didn't lose a lb. this month but I'm still working at it!

It seems like when I publically post my goals I screw up but if I just do my thing and post my weight loss I do better - crazy, huh?

My girlfriend's brother passed away and I want to go to the viewing with some co-workers and I can't find child care. If it was local I wouldn't stress so much but it is up near PA which is a 45 min. ride there and back plus what ever time we spend at the viewing. The boys probably won't mind being left alone but being so far away makes me nervous especially since we were going to carpool an I won't have my car to leave whenever I want. Annoyed that my Mom can't pick the boys up and keep them; I know it's her time and she can do as she pleases but it isn't like I'm going out for a dinner or anything; just trying to offer support to my girlfriend. Her choices sometimes make me nuts a they make no sense but maybe to her they do.

Mom picked and will keep the boys so I am waiting for my girlfriend (another ex-co-worker) to pick me up so we can go to the viewing.

Everyone have a good night! ((Hugs))

I have been out of the loop...why have we lost colors in the signatures?
Made it through today somewhat successful. Dinner is done and kitchen is closed for the night. I will allow myself water or a cup of coffee...that is it! Have a good night everyone!

Well ladies I have some news....

The DoC job has FINALLY come through Michael got the call today while I was out with a friend. All I have to do now is get copies of my driving record in Colorado and Tennessee (or in the case of Tennessee a letter stating that I never had a license there!) and 3 letters of rec from neighbors in my same zip code. I bring that all in with me when I go for my physical!! Oh and I informed the Sgt. before she called me today (about a week ago) that I was pregnant and I didn't want to lie and she said that it was just fine because they have 3 pregnant women in the Academy right now So yay!!!

Popping in to say good morning before I check my farm. I bought some hedges to put around the front yard of my big house instead of the white fence I had. Now I have too many white fence pieces. I can't sell them because I'm not an "influential neighbor" - all I can do is delete them. I hate to do that since I will probably use them again later in the game when I add more stuff to my farm so I have been stashing them in nooks and crannies and by my animal corral. I don't think I want to open up my FB up just to be able to sell stuff

The leg feels like it has a charlie horse 24/7 the past couple of days.

First day back to work since last Tuesday and not looking forward to it. I use a cane to get around and I will feel like such a dork. We don't have an elevator in our building and I'm downstairs so that may be a challenge too. Especially after the surgery.

I just saw on the tv news that a business in town burned down. I didn't hear the name of it nor where it was. I need to look that up on the local paper's site on the way to the farm.

Sarah

have a great Tuesday -

The scale is stubbornly stuck...actually bouncing around which is driving me crazy.......I do have faith in what I am doing and I know that it will come off

So tomorrow is CANADA DAY and we are closed here at work....usually we go to the beach and hang out and then attend some fireworks but I think we are staying home this year...I have invited some family over to hang out and grill....all very casual...I am providing the meat ...and buns for those who eat that stuff...it has been raining on and off since Sunday....my deck is soaked and my stain is sitting and waiting to be applied.....I wanted it all done before vacation but now I'm doubting it....I am however going to set up the new gazebo...I will start tomorrow morning unless it's pouring rain...if I'm not done when my guests arrive then they will have to help......

We are leaving on Sunday for our annual camping trip...going for 7 nights this year so returning on Monday July 13 and back to work on Wednesday the 15th....I swear I'm doing more to make sure W is okay alone while we are gone than I'm doing preparing for the trip....after all the equipement is all in 2 spots and our clothes and food is easy...I plan to run into town every 3 days for fresh meat.....

Have a great day everyone....I have to fly as the drivers are starting to arrive and today is payday so they are looking for work and money...that's fine I have both....

The neurosurgeon's office called - my consultation is scheduled for July 24th. It sounds a long way off, but it will be here before I know it, I'm sure.

Sarah, congratulations! I'm so happy for you!

Bonnie for you.

Lora, shopping in Chicago sounds great! October in Chicago is beautiful!

Marie, some people were using the color function in their signatures to sneak forbidden words past the admins. Everybody has to suffer for what a few did.

I am so looking forward to it, I am already scoping out the restaurants I want to visit as well as the shops. I hope to stay an extra day or two if I can get the conference rate each night. I started saving my $$$.

Invited my girlfriend over for dinner (the one who just lost her brother). They had the funeral today and she just got back into MD not too long ago. I grilled out steaks w/ buttered noodles (for the non LCers), cauliflower (for the LCers) and corn (non again). I also fried up some ground beef w/ taco seasoning for dinner tomorrow. Just heat up the shells and the boys will be good to go for dinner. I'll either have a taco salad or left over steak and veggies. Depends on what I take for lunch tomorrow.

Off to continue reading The Shack. I have to say the book has definitely caught my interest. I'm just to the part where Missy goes missing.

Oldest DS is already asleep, lol and youngest is watching Beethoven 5 unless he's out too....I'll check when I go up. Daisy is loving life because she got the fat off the steak.

All is well and happy in our household. Hugs, Love and Feel Better vibes being sent out to my SC buddies!!!
