Lora, that was very sweet of you to have your friend over. I was thinking just last week about Stormy. We haven't seen much of her since she lost her brother. I hope that she's o.k.

Peeking in... Just got done working on FT. Ready to hit the sheets...

eating was awesome today.... I need new shakes, I have Designer whey and I mixed them up and they were nasty! I liked the Atkins ones. They work nice to help get me into Ketosis, then I go more towards fats and proteins and work my way up...

G-nite!

So with every bit of good news seems to come bad news and I had to deal with some tonight.

My grandfather past away this evening. He was at home and it was peaceful, but an emotional rollercoaster for me none the less. Ironically I was the first one my father called when it happened. Yeah that one's gonna take quite a few therapy sessions to figure out...

Long day tomorrow so I'm off.

Up...and getting breakfast made/packing lunches. My girlfriend and I made it to the gym this morning. With the boys out of school I have about 2 1/2 hours between the gym and leaving to drop them off; 1 1/2 of those for myself to relax, cook, etc......sometimes I think I'd rather be sleeping but I definitely don't feel rush in the morning anymore. I'm sure I'll miss the time once school starts back up again.

Thanks . I figured she wouldn't have been in the mood to cook after her day. She's a sweetie.

to our sweet Lise

Overslept a tad bit this morning but still made it here by 10 after six. I hate working much past 4, especially when it is hot which it is going to be the rest of the week - supposed to be in the 90s for the 4th.

Have a super day ... need to get to work!

Glad to hear you are going to have a rest; jealous that I only have off 4 days in a row before I am back at it again. Four is better than nothing, right? Of course the last one will be spent at Six Flags with the boys!! What was I thinking, I'll have a relaxing few days until the day before I go back to work then I'll be walking around Six Flags for 8-10 hours!!!

What was I thinking!!!

it's all good...we are celebrating oldest DS's 15th birthday!

Woo hoo! Ten whole days off. I could get into serious trouble with 10 days off. I'm getting the itch to buy some new furniture.

Sarah- Many thoughts your way...

Looks like rain today... blah... I don't feel like doing much! Debating on whether to take Casey to the All Stars practise. Yesterday she didn't want to help at all. We shall see...

Did I mention that I can't get through more than 5-10 pages of The Shack without tearing up.....

It is such a touching book and gets you thinking. Anyone read it?

Bonnie and Lora thanks so much for the Canada Day wishes...we had a blast yesterday...I had my family over...mom, sis + boyfriend, other sis + 3 kids, brother + us...we had a great time...just casual...dogs, knockwurst, sausages and burgers...I told them if they wanted salads they had to bring them......we hung out in my newly assembled gazebo and always had a game of cards going....

I have been so busy getting things ready for camping...stuff to go plus I have to leave everything ready for W to spend 10 days on his own.......I know he will be fine as long as the fridge is stocked and his meds are lined up but I still worry....I can't wait to get away....I camping so much...I don't know how many times yesterday I said what will we be doing 1 week from today and the answer was usually sitting around a campfire....or lounging on the beach....

Time to get this day rolling.... and have a great day..

Sarah I'm very sorry about your grandfater

Good morning!

Lise, your yesterday sounds a lot like our tomorrow. We're having two of Mike's brothers over (one from California) with their families, and this place will be hopping! I'm taking two of my brothers-in-law shopping for fireworks also.

Bonnie, it does sound like we're in for a couple of hot days. I guess the 4th will be a hot one.

Lora, it's my Friday too!

Gotta run! to Sarah and all others who need it.

Hey everyone -

I sort of gave up on the challenge and decided to call it a wash about mid-month. One of these days I'll learn how to handle stress without food!

Lise - happy belated Canada Day. Sounds like you guys had fun!

Sarah - I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather

No 4 day weekends for me but I have Vegas at the end of the month to look forward to.

I have work this afternoon and a bunch of things to do that I've been putting off, so I'd better get to it.

It's almost time for me to get out of here!!!

Boys are off to the lake tomorrow with a friends so I'll have most of the day to myself. I haven't a clue what I'm going to do other than go to the gym and at 6:00 am. My girlfriend and I are going to lay out our new cardio/weight routine so we have an idea of how long it will take us so we can see if we need to modify our start time a bit. I'm excited. I hope lifting the weights will assit with getting my weight loss moving again or at least firm me up some more!! As long as I look smaller I don't really care what the scale says!!!

Have a good evening!!

Thanks, Lora

Lise- glad you had an awesome day yesterday. Casey mentioned that it was Canada day and that she had friends celebrating the day!

Bonnie- awesome, congrats. I am just about on level 27 and I only have $500,000 coins. I try to go for the Experience coins more then the cash. I have been debating on the Mansion, it would be nice! Do you have the camera where you can take a snap shot of your farm? I'd love to see how you do yours. I think seeing the farms is neat. How everyone does them differently.

Sarah- continued hugs and prayers...

Lora- Enjoy your day "off" hope you enjoy it by doing nothing!

Terry- I ment to ask you how the backyard is looking with your waterfall and flowers..

I took Casey to see Ice Age 3 in 3D. it was awesome. I enjoyed this one better then the last. it was a good storyline.
Sunday I spent 3 hours scrubbing the car, waxing everything and of course I had my system going, well I about killed the battery. which screwed up my On-star. It wont kick on. Later I need to go out and unhook the battery and rehook it up. PITA!!!

Yes, I go for the ExP too but you need 150,000 for level 30. I have over 60K points on both, so a long ways to go. (The higher the level the more you need to get there.) I tried the camera but I didn't want to use FB's photo thing and didn't approve it when it asked to. I have a couple of print screens in my Photobucket from last week though. I will take an updated one and try to get it posted tonight or tomorrow.
