Good answer!

I just asked DH this....he looked alarmed considering we're shopping for our daughters bed at the same time but he answered this way too....he said "It's about the kid, not about the parent. I'd make sure my child was comfortable first".

Meh...she's comfortable on her air mattress. LOL

I have to think about it still.

Went and bought Sara some sheets for her bed. She picked Disney Princess. I didn't have the money to get her all the fancy stuff for her bed so I just got the sheets and a little blanket. But she's happy.

I'm sure you did fine and she'll be happy regardless. I just had to share that story because he was that I was talking about parents splitting up and beds while we were shopping for beds

You *could* offer to sell the bed first and if he doesn't do it, later just send it over for her.

That way, either way she gets to sleep on her bed, but he doesn't have to know and you MIGHT get the money.

I'm not sure what you mean here. We have his crib and bedding set up and 1/2 the border up that matches the blanket and bumper. It looks like this.

My mom is in the process of making navy blue curtains and a navy bed skirt. The shelves I am buying are going to have navy blue baskets in them.

Thats about all I got

It's hard to believe I'm only 2-3 weeks away from the start of the home study process.

I hope I pass with flying colors and don't have to reinvent the wheel or anything.

Im home for work. TIRED today.

Good news- Ani is doing SO much better this afternoon. She isnt whining anymore and she actually got up off the couch when I got home. She still wont let me near her tail area to put on the ointment but it looks like it is drying out and it is less red regardless.

DP, can you get some blue camo cloth and make some wallhangings like this or some up with something similar?

They actually have this same set in blue, but the problem I am having is that none of the blue camo stuff has the brown and tan in it, hence why I had to paint the wall border.

And I dont know if I am crazy about those- are you? Hhmmm

They have no material with the same colors in ANYTHING. Me and my mom spent days searching stores and the internet, thats why we went with navy blue for the curtains and bed skirt.

Well, no, I'm not real crazy about them myself, but I'm more a babies and bunnies than camo so I didn't know if my judgment would match what you were looking for....just looking for "matching"

And I wasn't sure it was the color that was making me not like it so much or if it'd look cute in blue like you blankeys do.

Hmm, that could be cute.

you could do all planes/clouds or mix in other "modes" of transportation: trucks, trains, etc. if you wanted. I think the planes could work well with the border but probably the other types of transportation could work too.

It's not helping for your wall, but go to e-bay and do a search for military baby. Some cute stuff
