You know what? I realized that this is genuinely what I WANTED all along and that I'm 110% happy with this choice on the way here today. I was driving up the road and realized that yesterday the girl that told me she was pregnant the day I found out my first IUI didn't take (no, she didn't know I was doing that) and I was so upset....

well, she had her baby yesterday and when I found out, I was really HAPPY for her and NOT jealous AT ALL!!!

I just am super excited about finding my kid, but I no longer have those jealous feelings over mom's to be.

And I'd never hate you for it silly. I was always happy for you, even when I was jealous. The two weren't exclusive of each other, thank God.

I am sitting re-reading Harry Potter before the movie comes out in 2 WEEKS! I

Oh, and we decided we are gonna go with puppy stuff for Kyle's room. I found this on e-bay and the decision was made(it is lettering for the wall)

But I understand why you would have felt that way and had to work through it!

I wonder if DH remembers back when we were engaged. We used to say then we were going to adopt instead of having kids because I didn't want to go thru labor

I know. That sounds weird, but I think kids are SO daggone precious at that age. And I do regret that I will not be likely to get to experience that.

Still, it's all tradeoffs and I'm so excited I can barely think straight some days!!

have a good evening. dh starts graveyard tomorrow night so I'm hoping he will want to watch a movie tonight, especially since I'm leaving in a few days.

I have done really good food wise the last few days until I decided to eat dinner dd made. it just smelled so good. on the plus size, I really haven't eaten much today or yesterday and I didn't binge or over eat so I'm not going to stress about it.

I probably won't be on much more tonight, either. if I don't see you, I'll talk to you in the morning.

I miss chatting with you all and knowing what's going on with everybody, but I'm having a great time! I'd ask how everyone is, but I really don't expect to be back on here to read how you are.

We're in a hotel tonight because it's around 100 here at 10 at night

...not good camping weather!

OK...some things that we've done:

We DID go here, just not before I showed you all the pic.

I'd never stayed in a 4-star hotel, and it was lovely! I never would've thought that my first time at such a fancy hotel would be during a camping trip!

Grand Canyon

Indian cliff dwellings

Painted Desert

dinosaur footprints in the ground! Well, where else would they be, right?

Stayed on Route 66 for several nights.

Saw some California Condors at the Grand Canyon--They're VERY rare, in case anybody didn't know.

It's really hot in the desert. Amazing, huh?

107 at the Grand Canyon. 126 in our car!

No pics to share right now. I need to get to sleep. I have to get up in 6.5 hours.

Poor Peskie, I should have gotten up and kept you company! I didn't sleep well again either. I think I just have a lot on my mind, this weekend's visitors, lots of trips coming up in the next few months etc. I was also cold all night though with 2 quilts a furry throw, flannel pants, a long sleeve shirt and socks on! The thermostat was set on 70 too! Not sure why I am doing this. I wonder if it has something to do with hormones since I am not sleeping well either.
