I watched king fu panda with the girls while we ate dinner. steak didn't turn out too bad for being a cheap cut. dh usually does the bbqing but he wasn't home and I really wanted it cooked that way.

I'm dreading the driving the rest of this week. I'll be out of town the next few days. Coming home Friday. I'm working in Front Royal tomorrow and the next day. (about an hour from DC, so WAY North)

With my back like it is, I'm going to go to Lexington this afternoon and work and drive up the rest of the way after work. Lexington will be about 1/2 way for me and break up the drive.

Friday though, 258 miles to get back home

Anyway, naturally, I'll take my laptop. You girls have to keep me company while I'm all alone in a hotel room. Be sure to be here.

But Friday, I probably will not get home til late. I'll try to check in before bed and let you know I made it okay, but I'll just take it as it goes!

Right. They have very pretty sheers in different colors and styles, you can always put mini-blinds in if she needs more privacy and she can let them up or down and use the sheers too. Target has some cute ones and I have seen them other places too while looking for them for my craft room

Hello ladies...let me give you the happy news before the bad news.

The happy news is Sara LOVES her bed. She slept in it no problem last night and was so excited!

Bad news...and I'm LIVID and I have NO idea how this affects my child support. But in two - TWO - months, Sara is going to have a baby sister. Rob decided to let me know via text message last night. I got a text that started off "Oh by the way I've been meaning to tell you..." They haven't even told Sara. So now she's going to go from an only child to having a sibling in two months. Nothing like preparing her. I'm so freak'n mad I don't even know what to say or do.

I know...but they haven't even told her. And its not my place. I have NO idea WHEN they are going to tell her. I couldn't even talk to him last night I was so angry. I need to find out though.

And part of me is sad...because here I am being responsible and terrified that I may never get to have another child and now douche bag is giving her a sister.

Well if it were me, I would just try to make it as positive an experience for her as I could. The way you react to all of this is going to transfer to her. I know you are angry but it seems to be out of your hands really. You can make all the difference in the world in how she deals with it though.

i agree with Landis on it. you have the right to feel the way you feel, but you also have the power to control your reaction to it and how you pass it along to Sara. you can help her make it a positive thing for her even though it is hurting you at the time. *hugs*.
