Well yesterday ended up not be great. I planned poorly and was caught without food and ate something carby because I was starving. Good news it was not sugary and and I did not eat alot.

My tummy was not impressed to say the least and I smacked myself that I had to remember that "issue" again.

Today is a new day. Going to grill some more chicken. And I think I will have cottage cheese later.

Today is supposed to be cooler so I am going to try to make some of those cheesecake muffins I printed off and maybe thaw some cream cheese and make that "faux" fudge to hide in the freezer.

I might also make one of those "bald calzones" from the Stella lc cookbook. Basically just the cheesy filling inside a calzone, no sauce. Extra eggs hold it together to bake.

well im just checkin in, ill post tonight my menu for the day, but so far its just coffee. I have got to find another way to cook eggs.

We have about 30-40 squash on our cabinet from our garden. Its doing awesome. I have given alot away so far to family, we have about 25 plants.

Im having to deal with a rebellious 3 year old this morning. When ever she does something she isn't suppose to she has to go to her room for 10 minutes. Even though she can play with her toys in her room she throws a fit, she doesn't like to be by herself, but it has been working for the most part to get her to straighten up.

Im gonna try and get an hour of callanetics in today. my goal is 10 hours this month. So workouts will be m w & F.

I'm still here, really busy getting ready to go out of town. We're heading to the beach for a week & since I'm the only adult going with 4 teens all the packing is up to me. I hope that I'll be able to stay on plan while I'm gone. I'll have my computer because it's the only way that DH & I can communicate, so I'll be able to check in.

Beth, I believe in the power of pray so I will keep your family in my prayers. Have a great evening everyone. Monica

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers....
We have 9 children. 4 are homemade, 2 are adopted from South Korea and 3 are Ethiopian. Our Ethiopian girls have only been home for 6 months. They are biological sisters and are 3, 11 and 13. We have had a lot of adjustment issues the last couple of weeks an to top all of it off, our 13 yr old's best friend from the orphanage is not doing well in her new home and the family is talking about disrupting the adoption (taking her away from her 2 younger bio siblings) I have been talking a lot to the Mom...It's really just a heart breaking situation and it been weighing heavily on my heart. All of our issues plus that have left me feeling totally whipped and emotionally exhausted.
Again thanks for your thoughts and prayers, they mean the world to me!!

I guess the good thing is that i'm probably losing weight because I'm too stressed out to eat much.

Beth, huge kudos to you for having all that love to share. Your kids are very blessed to have become part of your family. I am actually adopted and people often ask questions about it. One of the things that I always say is that I ended up with the family that I was supposed to be with and am very blessed and you clearly have been blessed x 9. Hang in there and be sure to let us know how you are.

So, my daughter was up early this morning and driving me crazy. I am not a morning person and she very much is. I figured I might as well go weigh myself while I am this crabby. I lost 5 lbs since Saturday! I am not so crabby anymore. (Well, the espresso I made helped too ;-)

I made that Floopsie bread recipe last night that people mention on here and it was surprisingly good for a low carb alternative. I made a grilled ham and cheese "sandwich" with it last night and felt like I had a special treat. My parents stopped by and my mom said it looked ridiculous, but I don't care... it still tasted great. The last time around when I lost 150 lbs on LC, there was no almond flour to be found and now they have it at my regular produce store. I love it... it is the only low carb alternative to flour that I actually LIKE the taste of.

I haven't gotten an excercise routine down yet and that is my goal for next week. My little dog also chewed my good gym shoes and they look like they have a big bite missing out of one of the back of the shoes. That's classy. :-) Maybe I should go buy a new pair this weekend.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Hi ladies! Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I've been swamped with work and stuff.

Grace, my website is Tree of Life Photography | Fort Myers and Naples maternity, infant, and child photography| (I really need to update it...my most recent sessions are on my blog). I'd love to see your work as well...do you have a site or Flickr?

Beth, I'm sorry things are so stressful right now. I don't know how you manage with 9 kids, wow!

Lori, I will try to post a pic maybe later today.

Luna, way to go on keeping up with exercise and getting back on track with your food!

Gk, way to go on the 5 pounds...that is awesome!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone, I'm trying to reply but I can't see all the posts to reply to, or I lose what I've already typed. The night before last, I ate a big handful of pecans and about a 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. I'm pretty sure it knocked me out of ketosis, but I made up for it yesterday when I ate really clean. Thinking back on it, I wasn't able to go to the gym the night I ate that stuff, but I went last night again and had no cravings. Hmmm. I was going to go to a yoga class this morning, but I was rather sore when I woke up, so I skipped it. I will try to do some kind of exercise today. I might go to the gym later and just do the treadmill or elliptical. I still have not weighed myself, but I feel like I've lost a few pounds. My clothes are not fitting any differently though, so that's a bummer. At least I don't feel like my stomach is sticking out quite as far as it did before and I don't have to press in as much to feel my ribs.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great day! I'll check in later.

A Christmas Challenge - I like it!

While I'll still probably be a 'fat mom' at Christmastime, it'd be nice to fit into my size 12 clothes by then. I guesstimate that I would need to lose 20 pounds for that to happen, so let's say 165!

Adrielle,

I LOVE your photos! I do some photography, but just for friends/family in generally relaxed on-site shoots. I also did my brother's small wedding last fall and I was really happy with the photos. I am jealous that this is what you actually do for a living. It really is much harder work than people realize and you have to have "the eye" like you obviously do.

Hmmm... my ex has a house in Sarasota that I can use whenever I want. Maybe I will treat myself if I ever reach my goal and bring my daughter down and book a session with you for the two of us.

Welcome SecondTimeAround!

I'd like to join!

Finished the July 4 Challenge last week and looking for something a little more long term.

I like the title of this challenge, and I think instead of a size or number, I will make the title my goal -- to be "not fat" by Christmas. It has both weight and fitness implications, and as for the Mom part, I have a beautiful three year old girl, so I meet the qualifications.

I do Atkins OWL, I allow low-carb "designer" foods occasionally so long as they don't stall me, and I work out on the Wii Fit and with the Wii EA Active. Exercise, rather than diet (I haven't cheated at all) is my biggest challenge.

I started at 234 in April, at a size 22. I'm bouncing between 201 and 203 at the moment, in a size 18.

Hi, gang!

This is perfect, as I just started my induction! I have 38 pounds to lose - and I think it would be great to be there by Christmas. (Yes, I am ambitious. )

I have an 18-month-old boy, and yearning for a second baby. I need to get my weight in check pronto!

Morning everyone!

No clue what I am doing today. The heat makes me sluggish.

Will get in another walk (maybe two). I am going to try to clean something before it gets too hot.

Might plug in my crockpot out in the sunroom tonight and cook up a chicken or two to make chicken salad and bone broth with. Hmm maybe I will do that tomorrow morning and let it go all day.

I am really tired and "blah" today.

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? I'm not.

Hi, my name is Sharon. I'm an addict. My sin is FaceBook. I play Farkle and FarmTown.

Sorry for being "missing". I'm still low carb, in fact I will be for life.

We've been coming and going around here for the last two weeks. Our son and his family had rented a cabin at the Hayward, WI KOA Campgrounds. It was in a beautiful pine forest. Perfect place for vacation. DH and I kind of just came and went. Mom's had a few doctor appointments and we have two dogs to care for. It was two hours away but we enjoyed the rides back and forth too. Everybody is home now and trying to get back to normal living. I should be online more often now. I've not forgotten any of you.

This campgrounds had a beautiful outdoors swimming pool, as well as mini-golf. And it had this huge air pillow surrounded by sand. Like a big trampoline. It was awesome! Certain times, they ring a bell and the ice cream shop opened. Other times, they blow a horn and give a wagon ride behind a tractor. They also served and sold breakfast each morning. Then there were these low riding 3 wheel "bikes". Kind of like a go-cart, but you peddle. My camera is broken but the kids got some cute pictures. Also went to Lumberjack Bowl and the Wilderness Walk. DH and I hadn't been in that area for a couple of decades so it was nice to see all the sites again! Glad to know some things continue and even improve.

One night, this guy came around in a golfcart giving away the new BOLD Johnsonville brats. and coupons. So that was a free meal. We liked the jalepeno/cheese. The chili/cheese....not so much.

The only meals we cooked were hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, and sweet corn. It was great. Our site had a picnic table and fire ring. Double bed and bunks.

If you ever have the chance, go to KOA Campgrounds at Hayward, Wisconsin. You'll not regret the choice! It's a wonderful place to refresh and renew!

That's it for now. Thought I'd better post or you'd start looking for me?

Laundry and housecleaning to catch up with. I think it gets messier when you're coming and going. More than if you were actually home!

I'll be around tomorrow or later today. Love ya all!!!
