I am having some intense sugar cravings.

So I ate a small apple. Figured it was "better" than what I really wanted. I think I need to make some lc cheesecake or something to pop in the freezer.

I found an ancient box of Dreamfield's pasta in my cupboards. We are eating on that today to get rid of it.

I don't want it whispering evil things to me next week.

So roughly what kind of "plan" are you all going to do?

I am going for Atkins (with a Nourishing Tradtions ie: all the "weird" things in the natural eating forum). I have to be careful as there are many items that can't be in the house due to son's ANA food allergies (for example all nuts are out). I am not sure if I am going "strict" induction or not yet... my hubby is.

How about you guys????

Nuts are definitely what i call emergency food............i keep them in my handbag for when hunger strikes unexpectedly.....but luckily for me they do not call my name once they are in the house but i know some people can't have them around

I have a DH and 2 sons who are 10 (for a few more days) and 13. I need to lose 90-100 lbs. I did strict Atkins in 2004 and lost 95 lbs. I kept it off for about 2 years and then started eating more and more and now am right back to where I was before. I don't think I am going to do Atkins again. I am going to try to limit calories and portion sizes this time around.

Good morning. Day 5 here.. down 6 lbs. Yesterday was rough. But I fought through it. Feeling good so far this morning. Have missed exercising the last couple days - need to get a grip on that next.

I am doing just a general low carb thing. I just try to stay with Meat, Veggies, and very occasional treats (sugar free jello)and nuts. I eat alot of salads. This time around I am seriously paying attention to portion control.

Thank you Luna! Good luck tomorrow, you will do great!

No exercise for me today, rest day.

Hi Dee! I feel your pain, a year ago I lost almost 30lbs doing Atkins and regained it all in one year. I am so disappointed with myself. But I am picking myself up and really sticking with it this time!

Good Morning Ladies Today's the day!!! I just got back from a brisk walk at the park I did a little over a mile. I would have done more, but DS didn't want to wake up to go with me this morning and I don't like walking alone. In fact I waited until I saw a couple of people walking and walked behind them not directly behind them, but you know what I mean! So anyway I stopped when they stopped!

As for my plan...I'm not ready to do strict induction just yet. I'll just be omitting all the whites and sweets for know. I know I just should just jump in, but in prior experiences I seem to fail that way

Good Luck!!!!!

Starting Weight 211
