a challenge for july 4

Id like to lose 20 by then. So I will weigh tomorrow and that will be my start weight anyone want to join in the challenge??
I have a big july 4th pool party to go to so its good motivation for me.

So its june 4th to july 4th

I am with you - I would be totally thrilled with 20 pounds but I don't know if I can lose that much in a month. I started June 1 at 180 and would absolutely die to be 160 by July...so I will try but not especially sure I can accomplish that much of a loss...I am hoping for 15 which I think is somewhat realistic. I'm even a little bit afraid to hope for 15 pounds in a month but I sure can try!

Do you really think its possible? Do I dare hope for 20 pounds in a month?

Lets go for it Girlfriend!!!

By the way...you sure are pretty!

I'm in for 13 ... to get to Onederland by Independence Day!

My normal expectation for that time would be 9-10. Pushing for those extra 4 will take lots of exercise, because I don't want to cut into my nutrition or risk slowing my metabolism with low cal.

And Tinabeanus...how beautiful you and your daughter are! I have missed out on so many pictures with my own beautiful girl because I'm ashamed to be caught on film. At our Fourth celebration, goal met or not, I'm going to change that.

I weighed 195.4 today so a few pounds up from my low but still hanging in there under 200 so I feel pretty good.

Count me in the more support I have the better the motivation. I don't know how much I can loose by the 4th but I'd love to give it my best try. I need to loose 17lb to put me back at goal. This is my 2nd time around. And I'm going to get there

And I start off the challenge with ... a whopping .4 lb GAIN! Can't tell you how much I'm loving this post-induction stall.

Off to dig out the treadmill -- seriously. It's in the garage, piled with boxes from our move. It's going to count as a couple days' worth of workouts just to get to it.

Great idea for a challenge!

I started back on plan today, so I'm game to see how much I can lose by 7/4. I won't set a goal weight since I can't control what the scale does All I can do is stick to my plan - food and exercise wise - and hope the scale and measuring tape cooperate.

Good way of looking at it, Jennifer. I'm going to set a number in order to see if that will encourage me to exercise more. But you're right -- if you're doing your best, the scale does what it does, and there's not more you can do.

goodmorning all, well got to the gym early and doing cleaning all day and getting ready for the nice week-end. Week-ends tend to be hardest part because we have cookouts and everyone comes over. But I've been staying on track. So hope everyone has a great week-end and stay on plan.

Well off to the gym early today, hoping to start losing some of my jiggle that seems even harder than losing the weight. I guess the older I get the more jiggle I have. I can finally see inches coming off. Still haven't put my new bathing suit on

Well scale was up a little more this morning so I'm going back on vlc and see what happens. I haven't been keep a ridged journal lately so back to that and see if I can figure out whats happening. I haven't had any cheats so I think I maybe just eating to much or added some foods to fast.

firefly your doing great and I think at the rate your going you'll make your goal. KUTGW
