I was at my starting weight today. I was down 3 lbs. yesterday. Drives me nuts. I guess that is what happens when you weigh in every day.

Well been missing for the last 2 days, helping with our yearly community tag sale. 2 more days, but I pack a cooler today because it's so hard eating the thing they provide plus I'm restarting induction to see if I can get this scale moving again.

I've lost another half a pound -- still at 209, but improving!

I went to a college reunion and and art opening yesterday -- stayed completely on plan. Very pleased with myself. For dinner, we went to Zankou Chicken, where I was able to have a delicious, moist, roasted half-chicken and not feel too bad about foregoing the garlic sauce.

The toughest actually was dinner at my aunt and uncle's a couple days back...she had made a delectable spread of homemade pastries and cookies, and chile rellenos that smelled wonderful. I made a taco salad of the sides.

How's the re-induction coming, Misty?

well induction is going great so far. Firefly I bought this new book at the tag sale I've been working at for 25cents so no loss if it stinks but I started reading it and boy is it interesting. This is my second time around doing Atkins and I find it alot harder and I get so frustrated. Just started reading it and it seems so so interesting.Just wondering if anyone else doing it the second time around has read it. The 7-Day Low-Carb Rescue and Recovery Plan.

Annnnd another pound down!

That leaves 8.5 more to lose in 18 days ...just under a half pound a day, or 3.5 lbs per week.

Gah.

Well not happy this morning the scale moved up again. So I'm going to try the meat and egg thing for a few days and see what happens.

I'm not weighing today. I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a great day, and an end to annoying stalls.

Tinabeanus, you've dropped six pounds already! I bet you're a day or two away from another amazing whoosh. I need to exercise like you do.

Misty -- I feel your pain. Sometimes I feel like a medical miracle -- like I could (hypothetically, of course) exist on water and air and STILL gain a half a pound.

I wish Bigflopman, Jennifer, and our other challenge buddies would check in -- on target or not!

I can't believe it -- I'm down another pound and a half! Woohoo! I weighed 206 for a long time, though, it was my post-baby setpoint; I bet I lose one more pound and land on another plateau. Very much hope I don't.

Tina -- CONGRATULATIONS!!! The 180's -- and the 40 pound club! A big day indeed.

Remy -- oh yes, I can know how you feel. Stalls are beyond frustrating and getting off them is such sweet relief.

Have a great week everyone -- we're going camping and won't be back until Monday.

If i am 'off' my stall now i should lose a bit more now right?
Things will be a bit easier this week maybe?
My body understands it needs to burn fat now?

Nice progress ladies. Count me on in your challenge. I want to reach a small goal I have not reached, but had on the radar since October (Onderland):

Today: 205
Goal: 195

Date to achieve: July 4

If nothing else, I'll enjoy reading your progress!

Hi everyone,

Home again -- long hot bath, scrubbed off all the forest dirt.

We had a lovely trip. It was partially sunny, hot enough to splash around in the creek with my daughter, but not sunburn-bright.

We took an old tent trailer that my husband's father gave him from their family outings back in the day -- a 1964 Heilite. I was initially of the opinion that it wasn't worth the hassle of hooking, unhooking and dragging all over creation, but once we were there and set it up, it really was nice. Off the ground, firm mattresses, lots of storage under the beds.

I ate completely on plan -- the only problem I had seemed to be getting in enough calories to stay sharp and energized. A few times I found myself dragging.

No more weight lost, though. And this time last month, I didn't lose anything from the 22nd to the 1st of the next month...let's hope that I have better luck this time around!

I'm pretty resigned that I'm not going to lose 7 pounds in 14 days at this time of the month, but if I don't make it, I'm resetting my goal date to FRENCH Independence Day -- 14 Juillet!

Well I'm up 3 lbs since June 1st and not happy with it, but back on vlc starting today and hope to get it off this week. I'm back to logging food in my journal. It seems everytime I stop I gain. Eating on plan but I'm a constant picker and if I don't see my food intake in writting I tend to eat alot more.

firefly sounds like you had a great time camping. I haven't did that since the kids were little, but I use to love it. And staying on plan with LC is great. I'm not going to make my goal either but, as long as I start losing again I hope to make the next challenge, but I hope to get as close as I can by the 4th.
