I was off catching up on all my other threads too Becky. I've been off the computer most of the weekend so I'm playing catch up now.

I hope the girls don't suffer too much with the colds. I really can't believe how rude some people can be!! It's not rocket science!!!

And I don't think Lou's sharing her TJ poster, lol.

I spent the day finishing up my mosaic project. I worked on it yesterday too. Except my neighbors had a big birthday bash for the girl kid with the big bouncy thing and 1000 children screaming at the top of their lungs. So I busted out some of my louder music and blasted that to drown out the noise. It worked, except when the little heathens started seeing how hard they could kick the fence - which is right next to the garage where I do my project - while they were swinging. It wouldn't have been so bad if they at least kicked in time to the music.

But I finished it today. I'll let it dry overnight and grout it tomorrow.

I am currently cleaning the kitchen. Telepathically. Since I seem to be sitting here avoiding that task.

Alot going on lately and you know that if you don't see me....that I am not doing good with my eating....The good thing is I am at a standstill at least....not losing but not gaining...sticking to the same 5 lb variance.
I took Roy in the a.m. for his noodling (neutering...) My blackberry storm cr*pped out on me yesterday and they are giving me a new one today. Not much else going on...work has been stressful. 4 people got laid off Friday. I am working back out in the warehouse 9:30-6:30 but hey, at least I still have my job! And, yeah, I miss you guys....

Please don't let that keep you away. You just never know when one of us might inspire you, lol. Really, we all struggle through this life one day at a time and if you can't lean on your friends along the path who are you going to lean on? I understand if you need the alone time for awhile, but please don't isolate yourself, ok? Just know that we are here for you anytime.

Poor Roy!!! No really, I believe in doing that. I had Bailey spayed at 6 months. Bummer about your phone. My DD has had 3 or 4 of whatever kind she got new this year. It does everything! Except work all the time, lol.

Hope Marie got her phone replaced, I fried my BB about 2 wks ago. They switched out out in the store for me.

Got that same cold from the granddaughters. Man, wish I jhad sheryl by the toes cu if they feel like I do the poor kids are miserable!

I'm doing a sorta protein day today - at least up till dinner, then I'm going to have a salad. So, today I've had my meatloaf muffin, which I know has carbs, but it's meaty enough. And I'll have eggs and sausage later for lunch. Fish is on the menu for dinner tonight.

Work has slowed to a crawl.....which is not good. My extra income from my other jobs is about 1/2 of what it used to be. The good news is, I am still booked for my Panama Canal cruise in Nov (I have until Sept to cancel) and I was looking around for a less expensive cruise. I noticed that they've dropped the prices of cruises a lot. I called and they took $1100 off the price of my Panama Canal cruise! So I guess I found a cheaper cruise after all.

Other than that, not much going on here.

Well the weekend went by to fast.

I have not been feeling well very tried & weak. I take high blood pressure meds. for about one year. So I took my blood pressure today & it read 84/56.My DR won't be in till the end of the week, the nusre told me to cut my pills in half, hope it works.

My eating has been so-so. The 24 daily point go so fast.

Now Lou, don't go cheating on TJ, lol. Wow, what a deal on your cruise!! We have no travel plans in the future at all and I sure wish that would change. DH said too much is unsettled right now. ?? Whatever that means, lol. To be honest, he wanted me to book our San Fran trip earlier and I'm the one who talked him out of it then. Now he's being the conservative one. I guess we balance each other out well, lol.

My phone does so little I don't think anything can break on it, lol. But in Sept. I'll be switching.

A few years ago I switched all my lightbulbs to CFL's and made a file and kept all the receipts and warranties. One burned out this weekend and Home Depot replaced it!! Even though that bulb is no longer in their system. They're guaranteed for 7 years!!

Carol, that sounds pretty scary. Keep a close eye on that. And yes, points sure go fast don't they?

Becky, I hope all you girls feel better soon. I think the baby looks like Alyssa. Do you?

Hi everyone – Had wanted to wrote back last week but got behind. I am working so thank goodness for that. DH is very ill - in addition to the blindness, he was just diagnosed with advanced kidney disease – all from the diabetes – so life is kicking our a$$ just a little bit more these days. I don't seem to have any good news anymore

Congrats on the baby Rebecca and Carol I hope all is well. Sandy and Lou – the vacations sound wonderful – kind of feel like life is just going on for everyone else and just stands still for us. Oh well, hanging in there – all we can do.

Good Morning everyone: I just woke up had 6 hrs of sleep feeling better right know I didn't take any med's and my blood pressure is at 111/74 which is great, just hopeing as the day goes on it doesn't go to high or to low.

Lou: the colors are just great I love black & blue.

Patty: you are one strong lady, life does throw speed bumps to all of us at times, hang in there.

Well my eating last night at work was OK. I just took a mini "100 cal" bag of pop corn and had that on break with diet coke. = 1 pt. Can home and slept for 6 hrs., I need to go and get something to eat I'm getting hungary.

Hey, Patty, you have a job, and that's good news. You also have an incredible attitude, and you kicked cancer's ass. Hang in there. I am sorry to hear about DH. You'll get through this too.

I am eating my Mexican meatloaf (for lunch this time, not breakfast) - yes, I have the 100 calorie popcorns too, which is a lifesaver when you want something that's just a couple points. DH got me the kettle corn kind, which doesn't make me as happy though.

I spent last night alternating between gazing at my creation and watching the new celebrity show with Heidi and Spencer last night. I think my IQ dropped at least 20 points after watching that.

Thanks for the kind words – sorry about the “poor me” attitude. Trying to get out of it.

DH is with Emma at the nephrologist (kidney DR) today so just waiting to hear. Prepared for the worse since his count was over 12,000 and it should be around 30, so we will just wait and see what happens.

I have a busy couple days ahead of me - hoping the business will keep me away from the food. Not that I have been out of control, just not in enough control, if that makes any sense. Night is the hardest. The last few nights I have been really craving chocolate. I made a bag of DH's Raisonettes my own. Luckily, he didn't know that and ate most of them the other day. I have my Skinny Cow ice cream cones now so that'll be my chocolate fix. I didn't realize I needed one. I purposely didn't eat one last night though because I had already had some of the Raisonettes earlier in the day.

Did I give you my review of the Skinny Cow versus WW ice cream cones? The Skinny Cow wins, hands down - both are two points. A true Nutty Buddy would have a delicious topping of chocolate and peanuts - neither has that. But, the Skinny Cow has a version that has some nice caramel on top. Both the Skinny Cow chocolate and caramel have a decent layer of chocolate within the cone, the second most best thing about the original Nutty Buddy. My favorite part of the Nutty Buddy is the last bite, which is simply the tip of the cone filled with chocolate. The Skinny Cow finishes off similarly. The WW chocolate layer is pretty lame compared to the Skinny Cow. Both have ice cream that is only so-so, but it's all about the cone for me anyway. Have I mentioned I've been craving chocolate lately?

Patty, I'm glad that u came back to us! We have all been worried about u and I don't think we view it as "poor me". We just want to help u sweetie. My prayers are with u and praying that things with DH are ok. Give Emma a hug from me and sending extra prayers for u and Emma too.

My WW weigh in.
I worked yesterday 10 pm to this morning 10am, then slept for 3 hrs. Did some running around and then went to my WW meeting at 4 pm, the scale showed a .25 lb loss for the week. Tonight I have off, then I work Fri, Sat & Sun night 12am to 8am.
