Finally got some meds down him about 9:30, then he slept till 11:30 - of course that was when I had decided to lay down for a few LOL but he turned on PBS and watched for about an hour while I lay there.
So I'm gonna give him one more day at home since he still had a fever this afternoon, the schools don't want them back till 24 hrs fever free. Other than that we've had a good day! |

Oh Shannon -
![]() ![]() for you! I'm sorry that you had such a bad tummy. I like this VVLC/ZC eating - I haven't been tempted at all, and am continuing to lose weight. This am I was 213.4 - probably the lowest I've been in at least 10 yrs. Have pulled out all my skinnier pants from storage and now I'm wrestling with myself about whether I should send the bigger ones on to the Salvation Army or keep them (just in case!) LOL Ya, I know they should go, but it's a hard thing to give them up, cuz I think somewhere in my brain is the feeling that I'm just gonna need them again, so why bother? Nothing like self-defeat. Maybe when I drop another size and need to go get new pants - and that's rationalizing - I know! Oh well! How long is the extra family staying with you?

Always get rid of the fat pants!! It's good motivation to lose before getting back to that point again!
That was what got me started back in December. I refused to go buy a size 20 wardrobe AGAIN. I was pushing the limits of 18s. Now I'm wearing some 14s...not the jeans tho'. I swear they make them in so many different versions of 14 but none of them fit like my 14 slacks!! |

My son don't know about him sometimes.
Quote of the day from my 12 year old son.
I have a hard time waking his butt up in the mornings. Today we are in a hurry so I went in after calling him a few times and turned on his bed room light (60 watts) He rolls over and puts the pillow over his face. I tell him to get up, he moans "Moooommmmm the bright is to loud!" ![]() Uh Whuuuttt? "The BRIGHT is to LOUD!! ![]() Ummm still Whuuttt? ![]() He looks up and says "The bright is ...I mean the Light is to Loud!" ![]() I'm looking at him thinking did my baby have a stroke last night? Then I repeat "The light is too LOUD?" He looks at me like I'm crazy ![]() Then he says "The light is too loud...oh...too bright." ![]() ![]()

OK OK OK I'll put the pants in the Salvation Army bags!!! Jeez you guys are tough - thanks!
Leah, what I've always done with my kids in the morning - I call them and they have *maybe* five minutes to get moving and out of bed. If they don't make it..............I go to the fridge where I keep a spray bottle of water.............take it to their room, and ask them if they need *help* getting up. ![]() It only takes one *application* of the cold water to get them moving, and after that...............Well they get out of bed when they are called! ![]() ![]() ![]() Of course, when I *help* them I don't just spray their face, I throw the blanket back and get the tummy or back too! They come down grumbling and pissed off, but I look at whoever and say in my best dead-pan Mom voice "Then you'll remember to get up tomorrow, right?" It's one of the best weapons in my arsenal! (evil laughing) |

I've used the spray bottle also. All I have to do is say "Where is my spray bottle?" and the kid and the cats will both move with a quickness!

They won both games, by a lot...Coach let him pitch and he let him pitch before we were 10 points ahead!
My baby also played 3rd and catcher all the other innings of the 2 games. He never sat down, he's a happy boy! |

:P See the clothes will find a new home, and you will get new clothes...everyone wins!
I must say I'm really impressed that you had 'fat' pants worth giving away. I had rubbed all the threads out of the inner thighs on mine...they just went to the dump. I felt it would be mean to have some poor person wear such low quality clothing. My size 18 Coldwater Creek jeans are to big I do not want to go get 16's because I have no $$$ and have brand new 14's I need to get in soon!!Anyone want to PM me their addy for 2 pairs of free jeans? oh BTW does dh mean 'See you go' as in he will take you, or as in He will stay home while you go? LOL |

You are joking, right?? There is NO WAY he's going shopping with me! I want some friends with me for that! Men just have no idea how to shop for clothes. Besides, somebody has to stay with his kids while I'm not home! LOL Yeah, you should probably change the name, since VDay is long gone - ![]() How about "Bodacious Babes NOT eating Easter Candy" ? or "Bodacious Babes at the Beach"? ![]() |

Leah - just remember to get here sometimes and keep us up to date on how it's going!
Hows it going for everyone else? I hit a new low yesterday - 212.6! WOOOHOOOO! Now of course it bounced up a tad today - but I'm claiming that 212! |
