Niki, my nose is healing just fine. Thanks for asking. It was a bit uncomfortable the night the procedure was done, but hasn't bothered me since then. I sure hope to hear from the Dr. on Friday.

Ken eats my crusts too! My regular garbage can! LOL

Well we only got a few of the fundraisers delivered. No one was home last night. We ended up having to use a Hand Dolly to get it all out to the car! I only ended up with 2 tubs of dough and I did have some. Not a lot, but enough to make my musles feel sore this AM. Sugar does that to me. Blah!

Anyway this AM I'll have my Yogurt for BF and maybe a No Dough Pizza for lunch since all the talk. So then I'll have a light dinner.
Tonight is ER night!!! I hope I can stay up for it. I need to get my Twilight book "Eclipse" done by Wednesday, I want to make sure I leave it with my SIL so that she has at least 3 of the 4 books. Ken is in TN visiting the family on his business trip, I am jealous... I miss them so much. Such wonderful people, always making you laugh....I can't wait to see the backyard, it's such a pretty little paradise area, the waterfall, all the flowers and in the sunroom you can watch all the birds in the AM while you sip your coffee....Ahhh I can't wait!

Good way too early morning.

It's 3:30 here and I have a horrible headache. I think I am grinding my teeth because not only does the whole right side of my jaw ache, but so does my face and eye on that side.

I've been busy at work and then trying to stock the shelves for the dog bakery. So, not only do work all day, but I have been dreaming about it all night too.
DHMike's up and he's brewing coffee. That and tylenol should make me feel a lot better.

Congrats Sarah on your weight loss. How's hubby doing on his new fandango woe?

Woot Woot!! I love moving up

DH is doing great. He's sticking to the diet very well. And we've been getting creative trying to find ways to make meals with very little lol. But it works.

I had a bowl of oatmeal last night (not the instant kind) but I need to make sure my supply is ok so I'll do what I've got to do.

Today DH and I are sitting down and making up a menu plan and a grocery list for the next 2 weeks. We've decided that we're going to have an off day for Thanksgiving (without eating overboard,) while making sure to decline all non-LC leftovers. It's easy to do this if I don't make it at home I plan to avoid all bread, stuffing, and probably pie (I'm thinking of making my own to bring) I may just indulge in some mashed potatoes with gravy though.

We're also making a workout plan that we can hopefully stick to.

Good morning! I am on Randy's slower than sh*t desktop computer....my laptop has good signal strength but isn't connecting and I can't get it to connect. Running some diagnostics and if I can't get it to connect tonight...I must talk to India.
Sarah: It is awesome that your DH is working on this WITH you. I am alone in my house...DH eats whatever he wants! He respects whatever my WOE is and doesn't give me grief....but still I am alone!
Niki: Sorry you got up so early....do you have one of those guards to wear at night for grinding? Maybe you should see a dr.... Wish I was down there to shop your new doggie store! I am excited for you!

It felt good to go to bed at a decent hour and get a good night's sleep. I only woke up once, shortly before 3 but managed to go back to sleep until 5.

Tonight is our Employee Dinner ... it is the first year they are letting us bring a guest and D is going. We get to leave at 4 so I will swing by the house on the way to the Red Lion and we will be there in plenty of time before 4:30 - as long as D is ready to go (which I will make sure he is )

off to get a 2nd cup of coffee and read the news ... I want to try to get in by 7 today, lots of work to do and I have another class to teach this afternoon.

My neighbors house got broken into... They stole jewlery, money, her meds, her grandsons ADHD meds... Looks like it's time to invest in ADT! Second time this has happened in LESS then a week!

Diana, I don't think I've posted much about it here, but we are re-landscaping our back yard. It will include a waterfall that comes down a slope behind us, a stream running through a flat area they created with a retaining wall, then another waterfall over the retaining wall. It's going to make such a pleasant place to go sit on a summer day.

Marie, you have hit on one of my pet peeves. Talking to India. I wonder how many jobs went overseas in that industry.

Well, I've been off plan lately, and yesterday was a restart. I gained some weight from Prednisone use, which is really the culprit here. That stuff is evil, and I may have to go back on it, so I have to find a way to be on Prednisone and stay on plan. At any rate, I think my head's on straight now, at least as straight as it gets. Thank goodness, I stopped after ten pounds came back. I feel miserable. In a way, I'm glad. I used to be carrying a lot more weight than I have on me now, and I don't know how I did it. I think I'll try to start hiking with DH again. I was doing really good with that until my knees gave out on me. Now, thanks to several rounds of Prednisone, they feel as good as new.

Thanksgiving Day is going to be a carb fest around here, so I just that I can get right back on plan the next day. I have to work, so that will help, I think. It would be hard to be here at home with all the leftovers calling my name.

If you can lay your hands on an ADT sign and put that out front, you won't need the service. Criminals would rather not take the chance. I had an ADT sign that someone threw away, and never had a problem, but neither did any neighbors, so it may have not really helped all that much.

Terry- You'll have your own slice of paradise!!! We are putting up fast growing bushes next year and who knows... I'd live to make a custom water fall for us...

Oh - and how good of a wife am I. Jay called last night to talk, and asked if I could throw some of the ready-made frozen cookies in the oven to bring up north, but if they took to much time to forget about it.

We have one in our yard that we had leftover when D had ADT for the Computer Shop we used to have. The shop had got broken into which is why he signed up for the service.

We are the third house in a row where there's one installed. The same people did all three, yet they are all different. Of course, I'm going to like mine the best.

I woke up early with a migraine....the whole pain behind the right eye...run to vomit bit........it's down to a dull roar now thanks to my smuggled supply of Excedrin migraine....so I'm at work but I sure would love to be snuggled in bed....

Sarah, Good for you on your weight-loss this week!! I did not even weigh. Don't want to get depressed. I not doing too bad, but I don't want a bad weigh day to throw me off track.

Hi to Bonnie, Tina, Susan, Jamie, Lori, and Everyone else!!

I ended up taking my car to Montgomery yesterday, and of course, it did not make that loud grinding noise all the way there. They said it must have been a rock in the brake pad of something like that. I guess that is good news, but it was a long trip to hear that nothing was wrong.

Still waiting on a report on my brother for today. They started him on Hemodialisis yesterday evening. His kidneys are still working, but they can't get enough fluids off of him for him to be taken off the breathing tube so they are trying the hemodialisis machine to pull more water off. The call it a "false kidney", or something like that. I guess his prognosis is still not good, but I'm hoping he can get the breathing tube out long enough to let us know his wishes about life support. We actually filled out the paperwork a few days before this hospitalization, but he got critically ill before we had a chance to get them signed and witnessed. I don't want his daughter (age 21) to have to make any end of life decisions if we can avoid it.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day! I'll be checking in throughout the day today.

Hey all. How is everyone?

Just a quick fly-by. I'm hoping to get back to posting regularly.

Joined WW (again) and was doing well until I got sick. Got a case of cellulitis on my face last Friday which took off like gangbusters. Went to Patient's First on Sunday because of the swelling and they gave me an antibiotic which didn't do stop the swelling/spreading. After two days, I went to the ER where they promptly admitted me to stay over night so they could ensure the IV antibiotic was the correct treatment. Everything worked out well and they sent me home after 3 does of IV antibiotics with an oral script to take for ten days. It's clearing up nicely.

Boys are good. Oldest DS is doing well in school, joined the Jr. ROTC program, and has his first girlfriend which has been nothing but drama. He's getting a little promotion today to a higher ROTC rank, no ceremony just new pins.

Little guy is doing well. So big now, he's almost 5ft and he'll be 8 in January. He's not chunky just big/tall/huge. He's gonna out grow us all. He received an Merit Certificate yesterday for getting As and Bs on his report card.

That's about the extent of what is going on around here, just trying to keep up with what life throws at us!

I was thinking of joining because their monthly fee is low and I need to do something for me to get myself out of the house and exercising - I am just not motivated in anyway, shape or form to do it at home.

I figured the boys could go to the library for an hour or so and I could go do something for myself. Usually when we go to the library I sit and read while they play on the computers, look for books, socialize, etc....

Of course with the economy the way it is I'm leary of committing to another monthly payment for something I might not use.

I appreciate anyone's thoughts on the club if they belong or have gone.

Diana - how scary about the break in. Our house got broken into a couple oF years ago. They took our change jar which probably had $200 in it (I was just getting ready to cash it in) my son's change jar which probabLy had $50 in it, his PSP which he had saved for and bought with his own money, and his chargeR for his cell phone which I assume they thought it was the PSP charger. The broke the window on the front door, unlocked and came in. They didn't take alot but I was so freaked out we got a new solid front door which cost us $2,000 so all in all it cost us alot. We liVe in a really safe neighbourhood and a cop lives 2 doors from us and even he was surprised because our neighbourhood never has crime. There was a bunch of people on the street doing work on their house and I assume it was one of the workers that broke in.

Lise - hope your migraine goes away.

Ouch! It's getting so bad. What happened to the Dow yesterday? I just noticed it fell below 8000. I've been too busy to keep track.

I was in Target in Montgomery, AL yesterday and I could not believe how empty the store was. It was five in the evening, and they only only had two registers open. I saw price rollback signs all over the stores, but no one was there to shop. Things are NOT looking good. I'm glad that you and your children are safe for now, though.

My MIL has one in her backyard, her landscaper designed it and it comes down from the slope in the yard and it is so beautiful with the lights and in the winter seeing the birds, squirells and cats drink in it. They have HUGE fish in it too!
