Looks like we will do the usual for Turkey day... Thursday and Friday off. I can't remember if we leave early on Wednesday or not. My SIL was talking about coming over from Ohio that day, but I have to work and can't afford to take it off!

I have done it in the past (and it is fun!) but as I have so many to buy for I had to cut back somewhere. I think Heather just meant that the card exchange would be great for anyone who was interested in an alternative. The people who were interested in SS were sending PMs and several of us posted that we were not able to participate so it may have given the appearance that there wasn't interest. I think there's plenty of room for both. If you want to do SS great, if you want to do the card exchange, great. If you want to do both you can do that too!

Look it bothered me enough to say something in here. I had it deleted and I thought I'd had gotten over it. The comment upset me "since there was no interest in it anyway" There was and it was in PMs maybe not everyone wanted to join but there were a few.
It would have been nicer to say hey we can do a card exchange too, or We could do a card exchange for anyone who doesn't want to do the SS. And when the new thread was started and the info wasn't brought over with it, it was just another way that I saw it wasn't important, and I felt hurt by it. I also said No biggie I'd get over it, and I will. It may not have been said to hurt anyone, but it did.

Just to clarify, what I said was since there wasn't much interest in it. I didn't mean that you shouldn't do the Secret Santa, was just asking about the card exchange for those of us that were posting that we couldn't do SS this year. I did not intend to hurt anyone's feelings and Diana - you know I wouldn't ever hurt your feelings intentionally (I'm sorry that I did hurt you feelings). I too have participated in the SS in the past and really enjoyed it!

I can't wait until we see Jay Thursday. He hasn't seen her for almost 1 1/2 weeks. He's not expecting us to be up there until around 8:30 but I'm going to surprise him by leaving work early. We should be up there around 3:30 (he's up north hunting).

I took the time tonight to cook some food ahead - it seems like I do better on Atkins when I have food available. When I fall it's because I have nothing. So, I made some White Castle Pie and Heroin Wings.

I have finally calmed down from work today.
I still have to clean the dishes and kitchen from dinner, but I thought I would talk to you all firtst.

So glad to see Stormy keeping us updated. I think about you and you and your brother are in our prayers.

I am really confused about the secret santa/card exchange.

Maybe I read or didn't read something somewhere. I wanted to do the Secret Santa but got the impression that there was not enough individuals that PM'd Diana, so I thought the card exchange would be great too.

Diana. Actually, I want to do both.

We decided to hike up the falls, bouldering actually. Mike would rather go off the beaten path. There were times where Mike had to carry Rufus. Rufus did great!
