I haven't read through the posts yet, but just happened upon this while reading another article and HAD to post it. I've been feeling so negative this last week (PMS didn't help - God bless you women who understand and tolerate me like that!) and my husband keeps telling me I need to think differently. I've been having a pity party and basically told him to stuff it although I know he's right.

This article was in August issue of Self magazine (I subscribe and would highly recommend it - A LOT of really cool info). First I was going to re-type in (nut that I am) and then my DH (smart a$$) told me that apparently we have something called "Internet" (Al Gore invented it, in case you didn't know). I usually exercise on my carb up day so I can enjoy guilt free. Plus we have had the debate about does exercise mean regular exercise or exercise on carb up day to get your 2 meals after 3. I say if you exercise at least 5 days a week it doesn't really matter if you exercise on carb up day, but others feel you must exercise on carb up day to enjoy. Go with your gut. Sorry not much help.
