Good morning,

I hope that you both had a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was great and I managed to stay on plan. I did have one tiny bite of stuffing. Meh...it was okay but not worth eating any more of it.
DH's sister left yesterday, but said she'll be back in 12 days with her son ( he is coming from Florida, and I have never met him). Why does everyone want to stay with ME???

My boss is finally closing on the property and will be out in Arizona for a while so I will be holding things down here until he gets back....so I will be pretty busy.

Have a great Monday.

Oh yeah, the forecast is calling for 2-4 inches of snow within the next 24 hours.

Yeah, Im going to re-think this hostess thing. It's tiring especially around the holidays with the shopping and eating and the go, go , going because she wants to visit the 4 other family members that live here in town. I can't imagine having company as often as you do. My family all lives locally so it isn't an issue. I know I don't care for it when my girls have their friends stay over and I don't have to entertain them. It just makes things ... awkward.. can't walk around in pajamas, don't want to look too lazy if I a laying down watching tv, etc. Hopefully DH's sister isn't staying too long?

Glad you both had a good Turkey day! I got kinda messed up diet wise. You know how I am, I get off track and then just SPIRAL down really bad. I didn't really feel I pigged out quantity wise, but I ate a lot of bad stuff and am up about 5 pounds or more. It will take all week to get it down now. I get real depressed when this happens, especially so close to the vacation.

I am trying to think good thoughts and get back on track. But it's like I'm so mad at myself, that I am mad at the world. I can't fit in my clothes, wedding ring does not fit again, and I was in such a bad mood that I bowled TERRIBLE last night! Like a way below my average. Dont know why I do this to myself

But I'm trying to get back to being positive!!!!!!!

We have not even had any measurable snow here yet. I guess they say it's coming towards the end of the week tho. It looks nice out there right now, but I forgot my tennis shoes and can't walk today

Having a little cottage cheese right now. Green beans and brocolli for dinner.

I also checed OUR weather for Tuesday morning when I am supposed to be flying to Chicago and then on to Mexico and it said "freezing, sleeting, rain" for us. That could stop our plane from flying out. I could miss my connections and not get to go on my trip

I am not going to worry about it right now I guess.

Well, fell off the wagon yesterday, but back on. DD finished her job at the university ( she has been working pt in the registars office for 3 years) and since she will be off campus on rotations in January, this was the end. They had a nice cake for her and of course, she brought the extra home. I passed up cupcakes this Sunday, but broke down yesterday. Oh, well, cake is gone.

Good Morning! So far I am securely still on the wagon! There's probably speed bumps ahead to bounce me off, but I'm desperately trying to hang on!!

Had the gr bns & broc last night & went to bed early. Back down to 146. That was a big stupid gain over the holiday.

Have my cottage cheese for lunch, and more gr bns & broc for dinner again. Think this is the last day I'll get to walk here, and then COLD weather hits. I walked after dark last night. How's that snow Angie? Did it stick to the ground??

Well I finally made it to work. DH would not let me leave at my usual time.

Nor did he let me drive.

The driving conditions were not that bad actually.
Yes, the snow stuck and the mountains are beeeutiful. Schools and colleges are delayed this morning for 3 hours. Kids are out building snowmen.

Glad that the cake is gone...no more temptation.

I went home early yesterday. It started snowing again, but just flurries here and there. This morning when I went outside to leave for work. FOG!!! So thick and just WOW. Drove slow. Thank God the freeway is really lit up because that helped a lot. I made it to work safe and sound but nervous.

You certainly are having a rotten weather week! Hope it improves for you!

Busy here, we have the christmas crazies at school and are starting round two with sickness. Our administrator and another teacher are out, probably swine. Our secretary is hanging in there, but she will never take a day off unless it is major. THe teacher I work with and I were trying to get her to leave, but no. I finally told her that if she needs a day off, I will sub for her and they can get a sub for me. She is so afraid of who will come in and mess up her office. She is a trooper, but if she is sick, she needs to go home. I need to stay healthy. I think we may have found a short term apt for DD when she has her rotations in Baltimore and the only time she can go down to check it out is Monday afternoon. I am taking the afternoon off to go down with her. Keeping my fingers crossed because I don't want her to have to drive an hour + each day in possible snow and ice.

Hope you are both doing well.

Stay well Diane. It's not good having someone sick at the office spreading germs. She really should take some sick days. Keep your hand sanitizer handy.
The apt. sounds like a good idea. I hope its perfect for her needs. That long drive in the ice and snow is no fun, nor safe.
