~ July Goal = lose 5 lbs
~ Daily Exercise ~ 12 days @ 20 carbs or less ~ re-start Keto on July 11th ~ Drink 1 gallon of water per day ~ Remember to take all AM/PM supplements ~ no wine during the week (Fri/Sat only) ~ eat dinner earlier (by 8pm each night) ~ get more sleep (in bed before midnight!) Hello everyone!
Yes, I'm still with you. Sorry, I had a family emergency that took me out of the country very suddenly. I just got back over the weekend. I didn't have access to a computer and pretty much just dropped everything to go. Everything is okay now but I just want to get my life back on track now. I've not been following the program while I was gone and I'm kind of afraid to weigh in. But I am back on track and will be with you the rest of the year. My goals this month are: Stay on program Take advantage of the free gym to use the treadmill or eliptical 3 times a week and to continue going to Curves 3 times a week. Drink my water Lose weight! Again, sorry I disappeared for a few weeks, but it was unavoidable. Hope everyone is doing well and staying on track. I'm glad to be back and am determined to get rid of 50 lbs of fat by 1/1/09! cat |

Yes HB that is me, I thought I would put that up that way you can put a picture with a voice. I love Meek's smile on her's such a pretty smile.
I have been keeping track on fit day so far so good I have had only 9 carbs 11 to go I am on my 2nd 64 ounce jug of water. I am so into doing this right this time and getting off my weight with all you ladies. Exercise today has been 1 hour on total gym. I will use more of my weighs this afternoon. Hey Everyone! I am back, and feeling somewhat better. I feel like a toxic waste dump!
You know what I mean, when you take medication, but your are still so tired, but trying to get that get up and go. I swear I need a jump start that won't get me drained while or before I start induction again. I struggled with my energy level last time and really I am worried that if I loss my energy that I will get sick again...Any suggestions? Something natural please - I don't think I could handle taking another pill! Yuck!![]() My July goals: Loss 2lbs a week! Get back on my bike! Water, water, water! Remain positive! Be a better team mate!

Aloha Butterflies!
Everyone please post your E&E for today! (eats & exercise) Today was a strange day for me. June 30 is fiscal-year-end at my job & so I had a TON of things to wrap-up & process & push-thru... With my "vacation" (HA!) & then getting so sick, I was behind on EVERYTHING & really needed to work all w/e (to catch-up) but it was so beautiful, I never got around to working... ![]() So last night & today, I had to pay the piper ~ and I pulled an ALL NIGHTER working on expense reports and other financials for my team - ugh!!!!! I haven’t slept since Saturday night - ugh !!!!! I am exhausted and this is NOT how I wanted to start this next phase of our Challenge, but that's OK, I still ate OK today (not perfect but not too terrible either - but you can see I eat CARBY when I'm tired/stressed) - I will make up for it w/ a nice, healthy dinner tonight. But oh man I am waaay too wiped for exercise. Maybe a short dog walk! LOL. Here's what I ate today ![]() (no laughing!) B: 2 slices Ezekiel toast w/ butter + 5 slices uncured bacon + coffee & cream & 1 splenda S: 2 cups of Smooth Move Tea L: 4 Ak-Mak crackers + 2 slices white cheddar + 1/2 bag of natural beef jerky S: 2 frost-bitten cream cheese clouds (these babies were OLD!) D: Cobb Salad (lettuce; tomato; hb egg; avocado; uncured meats; blue cheese dressing) S: 1/2 cup fresh, organic mixed berries w/ dollop of greek yogurt – mmmmm! Tomorrow is July 1st and I’m gonna meet the day straight ON with a brisk morning workout. Yeahhh. That's AFTER I collapse in bed tonight and get well-deserved & hard-earned good night's rest. My eats for today:
I know I did not eat hardley enough food because I am a bit shakey I think I will eat something else before bed like maybe eggs hardboiled. BB vinegar in hot water B 2 eggs fried in bacon grease S yogurt L 2 cups romaine lettuce with 1 whole can of tuna mixed with 2 Tbs. real mayo, 1/2 tomatoe snack cheese D 1 C brocalli, 6 0z chicken breast water 128 ounces Exercise 1 hour total gym Tomorrow I will have 3 slices of bacon added to the eggs that will give me more protein and fat that I need Alberta |

B: Bacon/1oz cheese/2 cups of coffee w/cream/splenda/water L: Steak/salad/1oz cheese/water (all vits) D: same as lunch S: None Water: 64oz Warm up: 10 min sprint on treadmill Then I hit the weights: 3 sets of 15 reps Arm curls Arm extensions Seated leg press Lat pulldowns Arm lefts going up Arm lefts going out Forward squats Dead lifts Crunches Elliptical: 20 minutes More arm curls: 5 minutes I was still PUMPED when I got home. I cleaned the kitchen then jogged in my room to 3 songs ![]()

Morning!
YES! yesterday/today we began adhering to 20 carbs or less & sticking as close to Induction Level foods as possible... although I am eating 1/4 cup mixed berries per day - but that's the only non-induction food for me. starting today, no more man-made grains for me - I ate the last of the Ezekiel bread & Ak-Mak crackers yesterday! LOL! also, btinc suggested that we begin tracking/posting our MACROS today and I agree. it's easier to pinpoint specific issues when the macros behind the menu are clear. so track in Fit Day or whatever you like to use. if you want a copy of my Excel spreadsheet that I use, send me a PM with your email address. HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE TODAY?? MAUITAMMY? BROWNSUGAR? BEAUTY? CAT? MEEK, WOOT WOOT ON THE WONDERFUL WORK-OUT YESTERDAY - YOU RAWK!! |
