I want to lose 70 lbs. That's 10 lbs. a month. I think that's something I can do.

Tomorrow isn't yet the first day of the challenge. We formally begin June 2. (Tomorrow you will find out who teams are, choose a team name, an avatar a team cheer, whatever will make this really fun for you!)

However, I am a big believer in 'why put off what you can do today--right now', especially with the picnics and the long weekend. So, if you elect to start NOW, keep track of losses between now and Monday, and when June 2 comes, report your loss.

2008 Mid-Year Resolution Challenge

Thank you, Cleochatra & MarblesLongGone for signing me up. One quick question for you, though: Obviously, I'm not on the spreadsheet yet, but after you've had a chance to add my name, am I supposed to be listing my weight in the June 2nd slot or the total number of pounds I want to lose? Also, each week after that, do I list my current weight for that week or the number of pounds I've lost during that week? Sorry, for the annoying questions. I'm new to this stuff..... I've never used a challenge spreadsheet before.

MarblesLongGone, I could but I have no idea what I could expect to lose in that length of time. I don't have anything to guide me for a reasonable goal

Cleochatra I bought a scale today. They aren't expensive at all, mine's a digital one that reads in .2 what ever that means. I just hate to have the iron maiden rule my emotions. But I'm good to go whenever we begin. Thanks for letting me join.

That's good to know. I wasn't aware that I should expect it to go that much slower with fewer total pounds to lose.
