OMG You guys!
I decided I'm anal, and I decided to put together a spreadsheet (even though I wasn't going to), and you are SO not going to believe this... There are 41 of us!!!  This is a huge group, but that's tremendous! That's just more teams of us working together to get to goal this New Year's Eve! I have read each and every post by you and appreciate the kind words, your warmth and your goals and desires for these next 6 (or so) months. I am so excited to take this journey with you! So, keep on signing up! I am going to get everyone access to the spreadsheet. What this will do is to allow YOU to input your information weekly, fill in when you're on vacation, you name it. To gain access to the spreadsheet To use the Spreadsheet: Click only on your line. Double click to insert a number. The file automatically saves. Please don't remove yourself. If you want to leave the challenge  let me know in advance, and I can remove you. There is also a chat feature at google at the spreadsheet.You may need to sign up for google if you aren't already in order to edit your numbers. If you need help, ask! I don't mind helping.

 Ok, who can come to this challenge and not join?  Cleo, you're wonderful for doing this. Please count me in!!!  Intro, my name is Sharita but some call me Shari. I was very successful with doing Atkins back in '04 in which I lost 50lbs to reach 184. I've maintained somewhat..falling between +/- 10lbs  I need something for accountability which I know this challenge will do. My goal is to lose 46lbs. So far, I have 6 teams of 7 members each. As new folks join, I'll just keep adding to the teams.
The winning team has the greatest weight loss by the end of December and gets the dubious distinction of working their coolness. And maybe I'll make cool avatars for winners. |

Oh! I'm also trying for equity of weight, so that some teams don't have just lightweights and some heavyweights. I'm going to make this as fair as possible.
There will be teams, and you will come up with a team name, avatar (if it suits you) and keep track of each other. There will be bonus points at the end of the team who has hung in the best! I have 20 more kg to lose, but I am a slow loser. I also battle with the problem of seeing a huge number and getting thrown off course by the hugeness of it all!
