Hummingbird,
thanks for the stats, |I had forgotten that you and I are the same! That makes it easy for me! I'll just follow you! =)
I am sooo frustrated w/ my weight. Today I was back up to 165!!!!! I decided to do EC's all day and then have a steak for dinner.
I hate being stuck at this weight. I felt so good just a couple days ago at 161! What is going on here?
I weighed at 2:00, when I got home from work and I was lighter than I was this morning, 164.2! What could that be all about?

Gals, Gals, Gals! I just don't know!

Hitcha bac lata! =)

I'm still finding it a real challenge to eat enough. My meals are so satisfying that I don't want to eat for hours! Yesterday I ended up eating macadamia nuts at night to increase my calories. But...
It worked! This morning I weighed in at 92kg, down 2kg today. That's 1kg of water weight from Tom and 1kg of real weight loss...I haven't been this low in years! For the people who operate in pounds(yeah, I know that's just about everybody), that's a loss of approx 4 1/2 pounds and my weight currently is 202 pounds!
After my 3 weeks of no loss, I can't believe this is working , especially with my eating more!

When I weighed less than I do now back in June of 2006, my body fat was at 23%.

I'm now at 20% body fat, and I weigh more now than I did then.

Ah, I fell short of my target BMR:2423 and 150g protein target too Saturday. Did not have what it takes to toss 6Tbs of VCO into my queasy tummy on a too-hot evening. Still sweltering at 11pm. I computed on FitDay what it would take, then just did not have the heart to swallow 3oz of VCO in a WPP hot slosh on a hot night. Urk.

Making a new start today. I'm a believer. I'll do it! Got to pace myself early, get calories into me without fail. Carbs are so high that I think I must do more sardines to kick up my protein without adding carbs. Okay, I'm set to plan today!

I didn't make my calories on Friday. I tried but went to the cardroom before dinner so missed my dinner calories. My total was like 1400 for the day and I saw a freaky low number on Saturday a.m. cuz of that. Ate to my BMR on Saturday and weighed in this morning at 215.5!

Quote:

So I recheked my original post and it looks like I started this BMR challenge weighing 219. That was for Sunday or Monday last week.
I weighed this am at 215.5! So thats down 3.5 pounds for the week for me (!!!!!!!!!!) and I made the eating to BMR challenge six out of the seven days of the week! I'm so happy you guys! I believe this would work but the proof is just so exciting.

Awesome!!!! I'm so glad none of us have gained after starting this... it would be okay if it happened but its a relief that we've all been seeing good early success. So happy for you - you're almost into the 210's!

YES YOU CAN!!! You have come so far with your tracking and learning to use fitday. More fish More Fat? Sounds perfect! Keep it up. Its alot of work but now fitday is really just a habit and its become simple and easy for me to use. It will happen for you too. This is how you can really own the process and be in control!

Hummingbird,
Thanks for that info. I decided to go back to Atkin's Induction and then go from there. I did get on fit day. I can't get it ot show net carbs so I suppose we can just do the math ourselves. Heres todays info:

Average Calories

Total: 1451
Fat: 104 939 66%
Sat: 42 375 26%
Poly: 8 70 5%

Carbs: 52 96 7%
Fiber: 28 0 0%
Protein: 100 399 28%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

What do you think? I was at 163 this am.

More later, but me too! I started back on Induction today! So cool. We can eat to our BMR (less 500 calories for weight loss) on Induction, together!

I was 163 Friday; 164 today. I'm not gonna weigh again till May 31.

Check out my new stats!

Yay Zer~! Glad the scale is cooperating. Looks like you're having success getting to your BMR too. Way to go!

Best plan is to eat main mail midday to 2pm, then finish off by 7pm.
This works best for me too. I've been eating like seven times a day really and I think its helping my metabolism!

Scales report lower weight today; let's hope it's a trend!!! Breakfast fast and easy, holds me until midday, when I must arrange solid food/fuel to get me to BMR2423 with adequate protein and without overloading carbs:

WOE: Atkins, restart, again.

Wow!!! I just looked at my weight charge. ONE week ago I was 216. Today, 210.8 I'm so excited!!!

This makes me question, though...how often do you recalculate your BMR with weight loss?

Recalculating BMR as weight changes....

I think I'll recalculate my BMR as I drop 10# and move my marker to a new goal. Probably won't affect the calories a lot, but it will keep me on my toes.
