OMgosh that would be difficult, staying off your feet for so long. When are you going to have it done? In the Fall? What a trooper you are exercising with all that added pain- I won't whine anymore

I know what you mean about swimsuit selection. You have to shop as soon as they come out or you don't have much of a choice. I just bought a cute halterkini

DD had to get a waiver from PE for two years in high school because of the long recovery time. Of course, she loved all the attention she got!

I can't imagine having the surgery with a little one in tow.

Well if it would have gotten me out of PE for 2 years I would have said, "Sign me up!! I did NOT like gym class Seriously, how is your DD now, Sue? Is she completely better/pain free?

Peanut butter? MMMMMM-so yummy!! I havent had any since I started back clean. I have portion control issues with it

I had a bit of a realization today. I have been struggling with the same few pounds for over 4 months now I think because Im closer to goal than I ever thought I'd be and am pretty happy with my appearance, I just end up sabotaging myself over and over. I think to myself "Well if I dont lose any more I'll still be ok" It's like I give myself permission to eat some things off plan cuz I know I can lose back to 143-145. But I will never get past that brick wall if I dont quit cheating and being lazy. I have to put in the work if I want results. KWIM? Sorry to ramble but just wanted to share my thoughts

Sounds like a cute outfit
Have you ever taken any of Jace's old clothes to a consignment shop? After going through boxes & boxes of kids clothes last week that I normally just give to Goodwill, I thought maybe it would be nice to get some $ for the really nice things(some of Emma's dresses & shoes only worn once) Maybe I'll go over to the shop tomorrow and check it out. Couldn't hurt, right?

Netflix is AWESOME! Only thing is we are on the cheap 2 movie at a time plan and DH and kids are yelling cuz I have Gilads Ab DVD out AND WATP is on it's way I said "Hey, Mom doesnt ask for much in this life, and if you want me around to cook & clean up after you for years to come, then I gotta exercise!!!" LOL

Lisa~I have taken some of Jace's stuff, but a garage sale makes better money for me. We have two a year. One at the end of may and one in mid to late September. Some of those kids consignment stores don't give anything. I had one of those extra large bins full of never worn, tags still on, and they offered fifty bucks. There were about 75 items inside...didn't seem like deal to me. Try it though...I think it was the place I went to.

How'd the sale go Toni?

Hey Toni! Hope you made some *moolah* today

Thanks for the info, Stacey I had a friend years ago that took things to the consignment but she said they were REALLY picky about the condition of stuff and insisted clothes be on hangers etc. I will go in tomorrow shopping and just inquire as to what's involved. Every place is different I'm sure.

Sue~ Where are ya? Hope you continue to feel well

Good morning! Just a quick check in. I am spending the day helping Mom out after her knee replacement surgery. My dad has been taking care of her all week, but has a baseball game to go to today, so I'm gonna get some much needed "Mom" time. Have a great Sunday

Hi all. My hubby just left for a concert, so I thought I'd say hi to you all. I decided to start adding more carbs into my diet. I made my whole wheat bread today and made a sandwhich with natural PB and homemade blueberry jam. OH YUMMY! I figured it out and there are 9 carbs a slice, so if I just add in about 10 more carbs for today I am good to go. I really missed my homemade bread. It makes the house smell grand. Funny thing is the bread is really filling me up fast. I can barely finnish it.

I am working out tonight in about an hour. We have company tonight, so my morning workout will need to be bumped till afternoon. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Will talk to you again tomorrow!
