Good Morning all!

VERY busy day today - meals are going to be super quick!

b- 2 c. coffee w/splenda/half/half
- fried egg in butter w/ 2 slices fried bologna w/ 1 slice swiss cheese

l - chicken salad
- cheese "crackers"

d - I dont' know yet. I only have about 1/2 hr. window of time between Jacob's swimming and baseball game. We might have to pick up fast food. Gosh, what I would give to order a pizza - but I know better.

Stacey - you've been doing SO well lately that I'm sure the occasional "carb-out" won't hurt any I did treat myself to a fruit/grain bar and a little scoop of ice cream w/ caramel for Mother's day. I'm glad you had a bit of time to yourself. I, on the other hand, was a bit erked at the whole day. Usually my DH is pretty good about things like that, but yesterday he did nothing but watch tv the WHOLE day! I cooked/cleaned THREE meals, did about 7 loads of laundry and cleaned half the basement (amongst the other normal things). By evening, you BET i was having a scoop of ice cream! LOL One measly day, couldn't I have at least not had to COOK???? grrrrr...I shouldn't be that way..but ya know? haha

Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Toni~ I would have gotten a frying pan out of the cupboard and knocked my hubby over the head!! See you are a much nicer person than me Remember the sayin "Aman may work from sun to sun , but a woman's work is never done." It is so true!! You definitly deserve the icecream!

I am paying today for my crazy carbs...my goodness my stomach actually still hurts from all the garbage. Next time I will limit to one special treat I am taking my son out to play after he finally finnishes his breakfast and maybe I will do my workout this afternoon. Have a great Monday!

Toni~You poor thing. You should have boycotted the kitchen.

Stacey~sorry you're stomach hurts today. Well, it happens to the best of us.

Lisa~morning

I had a nice Mother's Day. We went to church then up to MIL's for the day. We took her out for dinner; I had salmon, which was delish.

I didn't have to do any work yesterday. DH made my eggs for breakfast, then the family got McD's for lunch on the way up to MIL's. I just got some yogurt and a cheese stick from home before we left.

I went to my health food store on Friday and a lady that works there suggested digestive enzymes for my IBS. I started taking them on Friday, and along with eating the bland diet, I'm feeling so much better. I've hardly had any pain since yesterday. I'm still taking my two prescription meds, but hope I can get off of those soon.

Sue~ Someone else was just talking about the digestive enzymes. Do you take them with food? Just curious.

Well, I am off to play ball outside. Have a great one all!

Afternoon, ladies! Wow the day has really gotten away from me. It's amost 3 already

Toni~ Sorry you had to cook & stuff on Mom's day. I was slightly bummed that my kids didnt plan anything special for me either My oldest DS did offer to help me build my own personal website for my business,so that was nice (He hasnt gotten a job since returning from college so he's short on funds ) And my other DS sent me an ecard but nothing from DD(her BF is all she thinks about any more ) DH did cook though so that's something I guess.

Stacey~ As Sue said, it happens to all of us. Hope you are feeling better now

Sue~ Glad you enjoyed Mother's Day and you are feeling well!! Hope it lasts

I did abs & arms this AM and plan to do some cardio later. I havent done much walking-the weather here is cold & rainy My food has been horrible! DH brought home these giant soft sugar cookies that used to be a favorite of mine and I just couldnt stay out of them Oh well-I'm determined to stay strict LC for the rest of the day!!!

Hey all - it has been the LONGEST day in history today - I haven't been this tired in a long time - on top of it all, another church member passed away this morning so looks like another funeral I'll be working on this week *sigh* It's really taking a toll. I'm wiped out so I'll catch up with you all in the am.

Well, I woke up early this morning and did turbo sculpt and ab jam. Hope to have time tonight to do callanetics. My hubby is in the field the rest of the week, so it is just Jace and I. The weather is really cruddy hear. It is 36 and raining...that slushy rain nastiness. I guess we are stuck in the house today. I think I will work on a craft project to keep us occupied Have a great one all. I will check back later!

Toni~So sorry to hear that you have another funeral. Sending hugs to you!

Thanks guys!

First day in a long time that I have made terrible choices with my eating. I'm just in such a rush every day lately that I have to grab whatever is available. Hopefully I won't let it get out of hand. I'm off to Jacob's swimming and then to soccer. I'll check-in in the morning.

Have a good one!

Whew! Made it through the night-Emma was only sick once more. I am not feeling great this AM but I think I just need some sleep LOL I am waiting for another exercise dvd from Netflix so will have to do Gilad today. Already had my protein shake and no clue what the rest of my menu will consist of. I started tracking in Fitday again yesterday I need to keep a close watch on carbs & cals. I am still maintaining, but would love to lose a few more and/or go down a size maybe before my birthday in June.

God gave us another BEAUTIFUL day here!! Have a good one, ladies

Good morning ladies! Well I was looking forward to having the car and bumming around today, but there is something wrong with the garage door. The maintenance guy is going to get the part, but he said it probably wouldn't be done till the other comes in at two because it will take both of them. Cruddy! Oh well at least they are nice people, can't get mad. I did find out that it is 63 and partly cloudy, so I think we will go for lunch and hit up the library.

Got up this AM and did cardio party with my weighted gloves and added ankle weights 5lbs each leg......I hope they stop shaking soon I think I am crazy or just asking for punishment.

Lisa~hope you get some rest today, and don't worry about missing your workout you ate great so that is a plus! I hope your daughter feels better today!!

Hey all!!

I had 2 days of bad choices, but am back on track today. I probably need to start tracking in fitday again too. It seemed that whenever I did that, I ALWAYS dropped weight (no matter how slow). I feel like I'm at that standstill again - just at a higher weight. I guess I'm doing the best that I can right now. Things will slow down soon - summer is chock full o' things going on, but a little more spread out I'm really groggy today - everything is just catching up with me I guess.

We had a beautiful day yesterday but it's rainy today. We've had SO much rain this season - everything is so lush and green - though that means mosquito season is going to be hell LOL

Glad you all are enjoying your days

Hope Emma is feeling better and sorry to hear about the garage door.

Ok all need to whine a little. besides the library opening an hour later than usual for carpet cleaning....which means I walked there and then came home...ok good exercise.

BUT~~~ Today is my wedding anniversary..four years...not a long time yet,but I ahven't spent one of them WITH my husband. How annoying is that. Well at least we are in the same country this time. OK I am done...just needed to rant to someone and you all are great.

Here goes trip two to the library........

Good morning ladies.

We're really tired/sick at our house. I think I'm the only one that's really well, and despite feeling poorly, everyone went to work/school today. I had the two boys home yesterday and DD really needed to stay home today, but she missed two days last week and doesn't want to lose her job.

I'm plugging away at things here. Fully recovered from surgery and working on getting the IBS under control. For the most part, I have been successful the last 5 days or so. I did an experiment yesterday and confirmed that wheat has to be totally eliminated from my diet. This is not a huge loss, as I plan on low carbing all my life; and this will just keep me away from those products.

Stacey~Glad you have a car. I hate being stuck at home. It doesn't happen much, but may happen more when DS15 gets his drivers license in September.

Toni~have a great LC day. I hear you about the busyness and trying to stay on plan. If you don't have time to cook, grabbing something quick can be difficult.

Lisa~I hate fitday. I used to use it a lot, but just got tired of it. Maybe I should start it up again? Hope you and Emma feel better today.

Stacey~ Congrats on 4 years Mark & I will be celebrating 20 years in August

Sue~ Sorry to hear you've had so much sickness in the house. I was anxiety ridden with just one sick child!! Hope everyone gets better soon How great that you were able to determine that wheat is a culprit. May be a big deal for some, but not so much with LC that you continue to feel well-it's about time

Good Morning ladies!!!

Happy Anniversary Stacey!! How wonderful!!!

I'm trying my best with LC right now. Staying on plan most of the day - did good all day yesterday until dinner. Was at swimming lessons when DH came home. He was willing to cook dinner so it was Hamburger Helper when we got home. We only had a small window of eating time before the soccer game. I know..Hamburger Helper? But I wasn't complaining - it was dinner on the table. Today is about the same. 4-h at 3, swimming at 4 and baseball game at 5:30 - 8:30. I just have to hang in there - one more week of swimming and soccer is almost over. I think the rest of jacob's summer camps are all while I'm at work, so that works out good There are so many things offered for kids around here - I just wish they were more spread out over the year (esp. in the winter). I shouldn't complain. Anyway, Lisa, I would love to treadmill again - but I just don't have a spare minute...literally. Hopefully soon though, as things start to dwindle down. We'll be done homeschooling next thursday, so that will be a big help as well.

I have a funeral bulletin to get done, so will try and check in later!!!
