BEEEEEEEAUTIFUL day in NYC today!!! Absolute STUNNER!

We've had a whirlwind of terrific meetings - it's been a great trip.

Lisa - LOL on Tim still reading the spring training mag -- I knew I was pinching it for people who would TRULY appreciate it!

Marcelle - our insurance is like that as well - they always find a way of screwing things up with the ONE doctor you REALLY want to go see. I hope it all works out. Haven't seen Juno yet. Really need to. I have to DVD and have yet to watch it. The Archlight Sherman Oaks is doing a big Sex and the City thing that we should look into -- I think it's $60 for the party - includes drinks, food, etc - sounds like fun! I'd settle for just going to see it, but that could be cool.

Susan - Lord, the spring fashions here are just UNREAL. You'd go nuts!

Drew - WOW!!! You look FANTASTIC!!!!!

Now what do you get for 60 bucks FREE TINI'S!!! I took the day off. My I am developing some stomach problems I think theres a stomach flu going around and the symptons start 16 days in advance. OOPS sorry it starts with some FURPS, and then by the time of the full blown effects on the 30th it's all over all that will cure it is SATCTINI MEDICATION. So excited!!

I'm not sure, but I think the drinks are included in the $60 and you KNOW they just HAVE to be serving cosmos!

I am going downstairs at 7:15 tonight to have THE BEST cosmo ANYWHERE in the world - I swear, there is NO ONE that makes one like this hotel - NO ONE.

We had a GREAT DAY today!! I made a new VIP contact at Madison Square Garden - we took her to dinner last night and today she gave us a tour of their Suite at the Garden - amazing place - not a suite like they have inside the stadium - it's a private room where they serve the VIP guests drinks and dinner before the games and then lead them out to their seats - I was really proud - this was a cold call I made to the Garden about a month ago - we used to have to go through our ESPN folks for tickets to the Garden and it really put extra work on them - makes MUCH more sense for us to have our OWN contacts at these venues so that's what I'm trying to develop. I've got a contact at the Angels now too so we can get GREAT seats for games - they're a bit pricey, but nowhere NEAR what people would pay on ebay, etc. It's really exciting - it was so cool getting that tour today! Kanye West was doing his soundcheck while we were there. Anyway, it was fun!

I fly home tomorrow afternoon. Susan - the clothes are really great this year - some of the stuff is a throwback to earlier fashion - circle skirts are coming back which I'm VERY glad about!!! I swear, even the Ann Taylor Loft has better stuff here -- I wasn't really budgeted for shopping on this trip so I behaved myself

Lisa, let's just say I like to look at the new fashions.

I have been known to buy something at Marshall's not recognizing the designer's name but recognizing quality then get it home and look up the designer to find out that she or he showed in New York at the last Fashion Week. I could be dangerous if I had any real money.

Drew, I'm going to be in your state next week! But a long way Knoxville, in Memphis (I looked it up thinking it wouldn't be too far, but TN is a long state!).

And I pulled out my schedule this morning and they have us so slammed up that I don't even know if I'm going to get to see any of Memphis while I'm there unless I'm bad and skip (which I can't really do because a co-worker is going with me).

Meetings/dinner til 9:00 Monday night, state meeting/dinner Tuesday night, then out of there at the crack of dawn on Wednesday.

Or a coupon book! I love those. "Good for one car wash, massage, laundry, picnic in the park, batch of chocolate chip cookies, movie of his choice, etc. How old did you say he will be? 29 or 30? You could probably come up with 29 or 30 little ideas that cost very little. And if you can't think of that many you could do 12, one for each month until his next birthday (so if he's out of the picture before then you are off the hook...put the most expensive ones last

This one looks easy and QUICK. Some construction or card stock paper, a whole punch, some ribbon, a marker and you've got a birthday present!

You could also do the ABC gifts. A small, inexpensive (or free) gift that would mean something to him for each letter of the alphabet.

I did this for jerkwad in NY. A, of course, was apple. LOL

ETA: Meant to answer your GPS question...I haven't received it yet. I just tracked its progress on the UPS website and it has arrived in Jacksonville, which is two/three hours away from here, which means it's probably still a week away from arriving at my door.
