Hey there........I'm still here! Speed lurking for the most part. Yes, I've been working AND babysitting.

I'm finding my work to be uber physically and emotionally draining.....so, I don't want to come here and dump all that.

On the upside....my boys are the bomb! :-)

I've been playing with my camera.........and had really gotten pretty good with it. Well, I dropped it yesterday and it bit the dust. I don't know that it is cost effective to repair. All warranties are negated with a drop

DGS#1 and DS have birthdays tomorrow. I guess DS will never get another celebration to call his own.....LOL Anyway, there is exactly 20 years between them.

I think this is a darn good picture of DGS.

We got a storm through the night and it's still gloomy, so I put Alyssa down for a nap (she was rubbing her eyes while we were watching her Care Bear movie) and I can hear my Beloved Mr. Coffee saying that my coffee is ready. I'm bumbed that I'm out of my Creme Brulee coffee, I HAVE to stop and get some tomorrow!!! Man, I love that stuff and I feel like I'm cheating when I have it.

Kim said we can bring baby back home as soon as she ate some beef and noodles (leftover from yesterday that I made the family members that helped them move) and got the stuff in the kitchen put away. John got ready to go somewhere then sat down in the chair and fell asleep. I asked him why he was getting ready and he said he had some errands to run, the only one I know of is to go get some steaks at Kroger!!!! I have a feeling he's going to go get some flowers and a card, but he gave me my gifts yesterday. He usually gets me flowers and takes me to dinner, but I'd been wanting a statue for years and he said he saw them at WalMart when he was picking up my CD (which made him break out in hives. LMAO, but no twitching, so that is a good thing, I guess) so I told him he made a good choice cuz that was something that I'd talked about for YEARS, so there is no need for the traditional flowers and card. Just the STEAK and SALAD!!!! haha

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day. You all deserve a wonderful day doing what you love to do (drinking coffee, running, shopping, selling homes, etc.). Myself, I'm going to shut the puter off and try to take a mini-nap while the mini tornado biscuit ho is sleeping.

It was supposed to be in the back . . . but DH said it was too heavy to move again!

My mom was suppose to go to . . . but she's begged off.
So we'll have to go see her after lunch.

Matt Damon is supposed to be filming near here today and tomorrow, so I may go driving around to see . . .
Scott Bakula should be about 10 blocks away tomorrow, in front of a new friend's house (that I just met last night!) so we may have to visit her too!
He plays an FBI agent in the movie.

I have been out to every possible store to find a St. Joseph and NOBODY has one! There are not little bible shops around here like in KS. I did buy some beautiful potted flower arrangements to put on the front porch. Surely St. Joseph will understand that I really tried! I will still pray to him

Ange - MK is right; it's St. Joseph and my parents did it - buried it in the yard......we figure whatever might help!

DH and DD20 took me out for breakfast, then back home. DD18 finally rolled in about 11:30 - said she had a ball.

DD20 gave me a Sterling Silver Ring I had seen a couple months ago, and the movie "Monster in Law". DD18 gave me a necklace and a cute little vase - to remind me when she goes away that "Home is where your mom is" DH gave me a CD......never expect anything from him - I am not his mom!

I did tell them though what to make for dinner and they are going to take care of it!

Kaye - yep - I love DDs BFs hair too - it's all about the hair for both he AND DD!

oh yeah, DS made me a bracelet at school. He did a great job on it and I will wear it often!

DH doesn't get me stuff, he says I am not HIS mother. Yesterday I went to Pier 1 and got myself some smelly stuff...

Cindy - I'm not DH's mother either, but as the mother of his kids, I get presents!

I received 3 massage coupons from DH, some coffee and tea from the boys, a very cool painting from DD21, and DD24 is trying to find me the ear buds I want for my phone. I hate the ones that came with it!

So Mother's Day was fun!
It was great to be with the kids!

I'm happy!

DD21 and I watched I Am Legend - weird movie!

Waiting for Desperate Housewives to come on . . .

Hi guys, John grilled my steak in the rain, LOL. I guess it was that or hear me bi*ch!!! It was wonderful too.

Ange, John said to tell you the reason that there's no St. Joseph statues to be found is because of all the foreclosures. LOL. That's his idea of s sense of humor.

I think I'm going to dig a little bit of the mulch where St. Francis is standing and recess him into the ground. I just set him there yesterday, and then I'm going to plant some ivy so that eventually the ivy is grown around him. The girl across the street has it surrounding all her trees and it's gorgeous. The squirrels pretty much ignored him today, I wondered if they'd be afraid to come up for some bread to eat, but they just looked at him as they went by.

i hope that everyone had a great Mother's Day. Cindy, do you get DH father's day gifts? Just wondering. If you do go take the money in June and buy yourself something, wrap it up and give it to him and say, "oops, I guess that was your gift to me, wasn't it?" LOL.

Cindy, did you ever get the new South Beach book? Did you look at Sams? I'm curious to what the price was there. I need to renew my membership card, it ran out at Christmas and I didn't renew it.

Oh yeah, I bought a graduation Barbie today for 2008. I got it for Kim when she graduates from Med Massage Therapy School. John thought I got it for Alyssa. haha. I have to put it up though cuz she found the Easter Barbie that I got 1/2 price after Easter and was going to put it in her basket next year but she found it and thought it was Cinderella. She plays with it CONSTANTLY here. I got her a Care Bear yesterday, she and I got bored when John was gone helping with the move, so we went up to WalMart and just looked around. I had to get some hair color and I wanted to get her a couple of DVD's and saw the Care Bear. Her favorite movie here is the Care Bear Wishing Movie.

I'm sooo excited, on Friday I get my permanent makeup. Hope it doesn't look like John socked me in the eyes. We have his mom's mother's day/stepdad's birthday celebration at John's sisters on Sunday. Hope my eyes aren't too swollen for that. MK, did your Mom's eyes swell much when she had her eyeliner done? I'm getting the brows and eyeliner. I wonder how long it will be til I can wear eyeshadow. I will ask Trina tomorrow if I see her bring her baby in.
