I just got through doing my weights. Boy what a work-out. I haven't exercised in 2 days and I can tell. At least I was able to get through it today.

It is supposed to get up 95 degrees here Saturday. Can you believe it?

I'm having a pleurosy flare up I think. if I don't feel good this afternoon I'm going to make no bake chocolate cookies instead of chocolate chocolate chunk cookies, lol.



this weekend: oye!
fri: pre race cocktail party (attire is nice/comfortable springy. WHAT am I gonna wear?. I don't wanna go but my co coach asked if I'd be her date, lol).

sat: meet the GOT team at our school @ 7:00. head over to the stadium across town to get ready (give them their shoes and get shirts for the race), pre race festivities from 8:00 - 9:00, race starts at 9:00. Then, later that afternoon we are going out of town to meet dh's family for an early dinner at Olive garden.

Sun: church and I don't know what. dh is on dayshift so probably won't do much of anything.

I'm ok. hurts in the back on the left. (that's why I'm pretty sure it's a flare up. that's where it hurt the first time I ever had it and occasionally I feel the same thing.) typically a couple mega doses of advil and it goes away so I should feel better in not too long. sometimes it takes a day or 2 to go away completely though.

I have shelter from 4:00 to 5:30 (back to volunteer so I could skip if I really want).

bible study is from 7:00 - 8:30.

somewhere in there fix dinner and make cookies for work, lol.


I may have to EITHER skip the shelter OR the bible study. leaning towards skipping bible study this time if I have to choose because we've had quite a few kids at the shelter lately so I could be of use and although I LOVE the bible study sessions I can still continue on the workbook even if I miss the video session. I'd get the notes from the session next week to fill in the blanks in my work book.

any way, really don't know for sure. I'll decide this afternoon when I see how I feel and do what I want then .

They didn't have Advil when Melanie had it and the Dr. put her on 800 ml. of Aspirin every 4 hrs. It's a wonder that baby didn't bleed to death.

Please pray for a lady in one of the groups too. Her daughter had a miraculous turnaround about a year ago from drugs and other things. She has slipped up and the Mom doesn't know where she is

Reminds me of when you and your DH came in to visit. I sent DH to take trash off the day before and was thinking how I'd have waited for her to visit before sending him so she could go too if she'd have been there.

he also gets to take Miss McKiller to the vet. nothing is wrong, just time for a check up and shots poor baby! she's gonna hate it. she doesn't like strangers. she doesn't like animals and here she's gonna see a stranger with a needle and see, here or at least smell animals all around. YIKES!

Poor baby.

That's how I feel with Sammy....breaks my heart. He hates vet visits and gets white coat anxiety.

Blitz doesn't care...he just says "Oh, somebody else to tell me I'm pretty and love on me" Completely oblivious to the needle 'cuz he's being rubbed and told he's gorgeous.

Blitz is just SO funny. Blitz just waltzs in the vets looking for attention. Sam shakes and climbs on mommys lap and looks at me with those big brown eyes, begging me not to make him go back to the doc's office I could CRY with Sammy.
