gonna go get showered and start getting ready soon but wanted to say hi. not sure of my plans this afternoon yet. I think dd19 is going to cook but that could change, lol.

I just got through lifting my weights. I couldn't do the whole routine. I just don't have the stamina today. Guess I'm still not completely well yet.

HAPPY MOM'S DAY TO ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

Mom did end up getting to come to our church and Dusty called before He went to work. Then DH and Mom and I went to the Courtyard (her favorite and my favorite restaurant). It was great. Dh gave me a Target gift card and flowers

Not as tired today as usual but about ready to take a nap anyway I think. It's too windy to go motorcycle riding. DH and I are sort of planning our trip. I am not checking any luggage but taking just what I can take with me on board the airplane and what he can take on his motorcycle. It will be HOT so won't need thick clothes LOL. Great church today. Funny thing happened to me though. The pastor was talking about "caring what other people think of you" and my mind wandered off for just a minute and my attention recaptured by hearing him say MY name and saying, "Right Sharon?" I shook my head hoping against hope I was shaking it the right way! LOL! I was thank goodness! He was saying that I had some training in the codependency area and our search to find significance. The moral of the story is, "Keep your mind on the sermon and not on dinner after"

just got in from taking Mom to lunch. Me and sis got her a Heavenly by Victoria's Secret gift set and cards. Also gave her the things i brought back from Williamsburg...souvenirs and such.....

DD bought my lunch and gave me a gorgeous set of earrings. DS kept asking for dessert.

Some people really do feel that way Patty. My Mom does. She is ALWAYS surprised that my DH gets me something. She was just taught if it's not YOUR mother you should not be expected to do anything.

no I did not get that little snot dessert.And i am the mother of two kids and their dad better dang well appreciate it enough to celebrate my motherhood of HIS children.

dd17 insisted I open her card NOW instead of waiting until dh gets home tonight. she got me a gift certificate for a 90 minute deep tissue massage! (well, dh paid for it she signed her name, lol)

I KNOW! she's very generous with her daddy's money .

dd19 just walked out the door to go shopping. asked what size I wear. hmmm, wonder what she will end up getting.

my son brought me flowers and a nice card. it was a "from your son" card and he wrote to "mom". the card said "wherever I wonder, wherever I roam, wherever my mom is will always be home".


now that means a lot to me because he is actually my step son *sniff*. I luvs him.

DD19 made me a beautiful hand-painted tray and fired it. It's gorgeous. Flowers from dh. DSs went in on tray. Mom is good.
