Yeah,

Jackies less than 3 hours from me, so if you ever make it near her, I guarantee you I'll find a way to meet you if you want.

I keep getting drawn back to this one... I think it's classic yet trendy. What do you think?

I am. I found it on another site for 25% off, so perhaps it was meant to be.

It's actually a grad gift, minus the surprise - that way I can find something I love - and I *think* I have!..

Off to send a link to Mom so she can order it for me.

I can't believe you said "IF" I want, LOL! of COURSE I would want! I'm not making a trip over to your neck of the woods NOT to meet you. IT would be totally in the plan!

ok, since we are leaving in less than an hour I probably should go get ready.

you're welcome, suna!

I can't believe it's over, *sniff* other than our party. but we'll be doing it again in the fall. the 5k event won't be as big, I'm sure. I think they will do a lower key one in the fall (they did this year) and the spring one will be bigger with community able to register for the run.

gotta go, bye

My sister gave me my first one, when she got a new one - I didn't *need* it then, though I have this last year so was grateful to have it at the ready!

Hummph!! Wouldn't YOU like to know?

I told him I sure would *love* to go shopping with you and Suna and put bras on our heads and go hang out with her boys at her beautiful homeplace with the orchard.

But, that since you all lived so far off, chances were realistically the next would probably be Pami 'cuz as soon as she's playing where I can get to in a reasonable distance, I'll DEFINITELY be headed to one of their concerts! (figure a concert is the ONLY way I can get in busy girl Pam's schedule)

DH said he was surprised that Henrys corn wasn't my next visit though.

MIL decided she wanted her moms day meal today instead of tomorrow, which is good with me 'cuz I can "pretend" it's not mom's day and we're just hanging out. So, it was going to push us for time to do picnic the same day as that, after a drive on the mountain. We may do the picnic after I get home from church tomorrow instead.

about today: the ONLY thing I'm disappointed in is the lack of support from staff in my district. there were my 3 volunteers from my school, of course plus my dd17 (we were supposed to have 4 volunteers from each school). I put a map of the course and all the information for the run in EVERY staff members box and I only saw ONE additional teacher along the way. not even our principal or vice principal showed up. I also sent an invite to the superintendent. no show! the other school district that was involved had administration and even their superintendent came out.

I decided that if our picture is in the paper I'm going to cut it out and put it on the white board in the staff room with a note saying something like "OUR team ROCKED! You should have Been there! and I'm DEFINITELY telling our administration they should have been there (with respect of course). one of them actually LIVES right by where the course was and runs along there often, himself.

stews I'm sorry that you didn't get more support. It just seems like people don't get as involved as they use to...

Henry just come in with a bunch of flowers for me... What is so cute about it. He picked them special for me out of our yard. Beautiful Red Cannas and Gardenias and the Gardenias make my house smell so good. That is one of my favorite flowers, and we have about 20 plants, so you can imagine the fragrance we are going to have this summer.

This new medicine the Dr. has me on for my stomach, makes me terribly hungry. I hate that, but I don't have a choice in taking it right now. I have been having to fight not eat the house down today, but I will make it.

Do you ever have days that you are just restless? I am having one of those, today.

I have been watching golf and usually that keeps me still, but not today.

That's very sweet of him. Gardenias smell beautiful. Surely, they could have been dandelions and his thinking to pick them for you would still have you smitten.

I'm sorry your dissapointed.

I think often people are just very stretched. I know there's a lot more I'd like to do, and my not being places in no way is a reflection of my intended support and well wishes for things I just don't have time for.

It's hard to do it all...
