figured out what I'm going to wear tonight. I found a brown skirt and I'll wear a sleavless V neck blouse thing I have that has brown, and different shades of pink in it.

it's not real dressy, but I originally put on my linen crop pants and was afraid I'd be a little underdressed. I won't be as comfortable in this but I think I'll fit in ok. dress is supposed to be nice/comfortable springy. I know brown isn't springy really but at least the shirt is sleeveless, lol. I did have a pink sweater tank on but dd17 thought it wasn't dressy enough. (funny thing, I never thought I'd be asking that particular dd for fashion advice. she wears jeans and sweatshirts EVERY day. and will wear her black cartharts and boots from fire science when she can get away with it

MY SON CALLED!

better yet, he is going to come into town either saturday night or sunday morning. He'll spend a little time with his mom sunday in the morning probably and then meet up with us in the afternoon! I invited him to church but doubt he'll come. couldn't pass up the opportunity to invite him (without pressure, but just that he's always welcome).

I reread what I wrote and I feel kind of dumb about it.

My kids are really loving and treat me great...there is just a weirdness for me sometimes when I want to take away their pain and know that I can't. Not with that kind of loss. I'm learning how different their grief is at each age and stage and I know I CAN NOT personalize it. Thanks so much for the kind words.

My company is out running errands for the graduation ceremony. The girl who came to clean the house today seems to have done a good job. I'm sick and don't really care.

Stews...I love brown and pink together! I think you'll look terrific! Have a fun time! You deserve it!
