I seriously have the cutest pre-K students on earth. I only have them for a few more weeks. One of them's last day is today!

I guess I am weird but I Love Mother's Day... I guess because my girls have made it so special for me all these years, and even though my Mommy is in Heaven, doesn't mean that I can't talk to her. I believe our loved ones look down upon us.

I'm back from golf and boy I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn today. It was 96 degrees out there and it was just too hot. I had to quit on the 13th hole. I was shaky and nauseous. I think I got dehydrated even though I drank lots of water.

I only played 13 holes, but this is what I did:
Steps 7,750
Distance 3.66 miles
Calories Burned 399
Walked 2 hrs and 4 minutes
My heart rate was up the whole time that I played...

I can tell that I was sick this week and think I still am do to getting so tired today. I usually can play 21 holes before I get tired.

Yep, it is really hard to give them up. And funny thing is, it's the stinkers that gave me so much trouble that I will miss the most.

I think so too, Patty.

Mother's day has never been a big deal in my family. We observe it, but I don't feel gypped if I don't get a gift or if we don't do something special. This year I am not even sure if DH will be home. He is out of town on business and is supposed to be home tomorrow. However, they have recieved Tornado warnings so he is not sure if they will want to drive home tomorrow. It's a wait-and-see situation!

hello. home from work. have a few things to do and am fixing an early dinner before I figure out what I'm wearing tonight. co coach is going to pick me up at 5:50 (I think) for the party.

tomorrow I have to be at the school at 6:50 (YUCK!) girls are supposed to meet us there at 7. lol poor teenage girls have to get up EARLY on a saturday. but it's gonna be FUN FUN FUN!

landis and stews I hate that you have a hard time with Mother's Day. It was always so important in my family and my husbands family. We shared many great Mother's Day with both my Mom's. I called Henry's Mom, Mom too.

Henry make take me to my favorite restaurant for Mother's Day. I am trying to talk him into playing in the scramble Sunday, instead. I wonder who is going to win this one?

Oh, and we discussed what he said the other day when I got miffed. I told him what I thought and he told me what he thought and we didn't even get in a knock down drag out fight. Ha,Ha...No really we cleared the air, so everything is hunky dory.

Patty, I am ok with it if I am not with my mom. I do miss my step mommy very much but I enjoy and have a nice mother's day with my kids and husband. I also enjoy getting together with dh's mom.


this year will probably be a little layed back on sunday since dh is working but I'm sure I'll have nice day. Just no desire to travel and spend it with my mom that day.

I am really hoping my son calls. He always has before so I expect he will. I'm worried about him. haven't been able to reach him lately. *sniff*.

The fries are in the shape of steak fries and they have a thick batter on them and are very crispy. They are awesome.

People around here like beer with everything. I even put beer in my chili.

You don't even have to have an excuse or party to drink beer in La. If they don't have a reason, they will make up one.
