It was a deliberately planted device. Noone was hurt.

I need a frickin cup of coffee - hold on.

Ok, so we just had our second break in within two weeks. The sheriff's department came out to investigave the burglary and to find if/what was stolen.

Upon coming out, they found the dilberately planted device.

The classroom where I was teaching was the closest to where the bomb was planted.

Upon this news, and as we awaited the bomb squad (which, bc we live in the sticks, had to come from far away) the super issued a press release and all calls from the press were directed to him.

We went into a (modified) lock down, whereas the students were all taken out of this building, and taken into another building. Doors were locked - kids that needed a bathroom break/or if their parents came to pick them up were escorted by staff (runners) .

I was a runner during this - thank God for Master keys..lol

It's all over the news and on the ap wire.

The bombsquad backed up their vehicle and trailer - and transported the bomb to a nearby quarry away from the school and detonated it.

The news stations shows the detonation by helicopter.

Peskie, ya, we had burgers last night and some left over so we had a repeat. The veggies were so good. I love peas and baby carrots together.

You can have my share of the peas....I can't hack peas AT ALL!! but I'd love a burger. And some corn, if you have some to spare.

I ended up having burgers last night too.

I ate both of mine though, so no leftovers. 2 yummy hamburger patties and some buttery cooked onions. Hot wings tonight, not quite the same goodness as last nights dinner though. I wish I had of had some leftovers.

It is hot here this evening, but the sun is shinning and the birds are singing... Beautiful... and we can see shadows of the trees on our lake. It really is breathtaking...

I misunderstood.* I thought you meant you were defending yourself this morning and was going to quit, and I didn't see that.I see now that you meant it tied into the sermon you were talking about.* Silly peskie.*

We fixed our burgers from Omaha Steaks that we had and we thought it would take two to fill up the bun, but they didn't shrink that much, so we had some left.

Peskie, I put too much in store of what people thinks of me. I just have to be myself and, if they don't like me, then that is their loss...

Tomorrow we will be playing golf. Henry asked me, if I wanted to go? He said you haven't got to go in awhile. That is, if I am up to it... I really felt puny today.

omgosh we're having "the" talk

Peanut and I...

I'm just just doing homework and he brings up his favorite book called The Book of Knowledge. Not just "that" though how lots of things work.

Well, they explain the "act" and what is produced by the act...

So, he says the p word as he's reading about it, then tries to say the v word and can't say it right... So I tell him then and the next five times he can't say it right....lol

He points to the page and says, "What are they doing in this picture?"

and I answer him... I said I think you already knew that. Did you just want to hear those words come out of your mom's mouth?

He says, "Yes."

Omgosh... WHAT a day..... ROFL

He's out here in the dining room with me as I'm doing my science homework. He's got the book and lots of questions...

Last questions, "So mom, if ther are two sperms following the egg, that makes it a boy, right?"

*laugh*

Off to answer more questions.
