Diana....sounds like you guys made out pretty well yesterday I got a free Senseo a few weeks ago....am working on getting it just right I got a great deal on cleats for Andy on E Bay too....brand new New Balance men's (that is the only brand I was OK with doing because I know how they fit him).

WARNING: You will be addicted to pedicures once you get one. That is my vice during the summer I had one last week...I really felt badly for that girl who had to chisel the winter skin off my feet

BBIAM...

Today we are going to early church together at 9....I will come home and finish making dessert for my cousin's house. I decided to go alone.....the boys can stay home and have their pizza lunch, go to tennis and run some errands. I can have fun with my aunties, Mom, sister and cousin without knowing they are dying to leave

Marie....enjoy your 3 day weekend off

BBL.....I am on my 4th day binge free I bought a great book from OA and have a couple more coming specifically on binge eating. I have also cut out sugar and will work towards flour this week. A good tip from the OA book....if you are driving home and you get hungry remind yourself that you will not die if you hold off eating.....believe it or not it really clicked with me...

Pammy....you need to check in sistah!!

good morning Diana, James & Jenn

for Angie and her dad

for the MIA

I woke up about 3 but I made myself go back to sleep and slept until about 45 minutes ago. I have a load of laundry in and sitting here enjoying the quiet morning with a cup of French Vanilla coffee

I won $40 playing Oregon Lottery Video Poker yesterday We figure our trip to Rainier is free when I win a little jackpot like that

I was back up to 169.2 this morning but I made taco salad (tacos for D) for dinner and I ate way too much of it. From past experience, I knew it would show on the scale this morning. But that's ok, still under 170 and all is good

I might go to Goodwill today - I don't know why, but I like to browse around in there since they moved to the new building. The old store was nasty

It looks like we have some hot weather coming up next week ... off to finish POGO badge and catch up on the world

all around

Diana, I like Joyce Meyer. Have you ever seen her on the tube? Her program is called "Enjoying Everyday Life" or something like that.

James, have fun at your cousin's house enjoying a girls day out!

Good morning!
Diana: many for your SIL's father....
Sounds like everyone will have a fine Mother's Day....Took Bev her donuts and coffee (and a small bud vase with 3 pink roses in it) and it brought a smile to her face. I only stayed 1/2 hour. None of her family thought of her today, at least not yet. They probably won't. It is sad that now that she has no $$ nobody comes around. So, Happy Mother's Day to her too!
Jamie: One day of clean eating, no binge eating for me either!
Bonnie: Good going on winning enough $$ to pay for your trip there....

I had never heard of her before and I have just about finished my first book from her, she just makes sense. A lot of it I already knew like where she talks about carbs, etc... but the way she talks about how we treat our bodies and so forth is just mind blowing to me. I never thought about it that way.

BF- Yogurt 1 cup full fat
Lunch- Angus 1/3lb burger with swiss and mushrooms in it. 1 oz of cubed cheese with mayo and 1 carb ketchup.
Dinner- Not sure depends on where they take me.

This weekend has been a madhouse....

No chance to get caught up......

The synopsis is that we were going to a mother's day brunch at my mom's club but they ran out of food and since I live the nearest I invited my whole family over for an inpromptu brunch...all 13 of us....plus W's kids and grandkids popped in for a visit... but I loved it....oh and W decided he also wants a dog to keep him company in his retirement.... so this morning Misty joined our family...she is a 9 wk old pomeranian...

I hope everyone is well and I'll catch up tomorrow...

Kate and Misty

Lise - having a dog will be wonderful for W. Speckles is great company for D all day while I'm at work. He would be lost without his doggie

Lise, what an adorable picture. I hope Misty decides to be W's dog. You know how animals are. They come into a home and pick their favorite person.

Diana, you're absolutely right about Joyce Meyer. She is so down to earth and sensible, I just love listening to her. I've even seen DH watching her in the morning before he goes to work.
