Good Morning!!!

Scale mysteriously went up a lb... I doubt Ruby Tuesdays burger was salty, but I suppose it could have been, no biggie... I know the scale will go back down. I'll keep doing what I am doing. Still it was cool going out to lunch with the VP.

Practise tonight Ken and I are really getting through to the girls, so a few more practises and I think we may get back to playing a good tight game!

We didn't have our meeting yesterday, so I am sure we will today.

I tried on my 8's last night, still real tight. I am in a 9/10 right now, mostly 10. Junior sizes are for those with no hip, and girls... I got Hip! Getting closer though

Those who watch ER, they said next week is the Season ending, but I understood it was the last year for ER. Anyone know?

Good morning and TGIF

Hoping Lori's DD arrived safe and sound...how fun!! My niece is spending her next semester in Florence

Sorry to be MIA....it is always nuts here during Andy's baseball season..they finally won a game last night I think they were more excited that the coach treated them all to slushes though

Hoping Tap gets some resolution and starts feeling better...

Sending extra to those who are needing them.

Hoping Lise's W feels better

Diana...you asked about my eating.....taking baby steps day by day. Reading the OA principles....two days binge free and working towards abstaining from flour and sugar. I am still very heavy and frustrated but trying to move forward.

WOOT WOOT to those who are in the groove and doing well....using you gals to keep me going

Have a great day everyone

Hi Jamie. Do you know where she's going to be going to school? There are a number of US schools with extensions over there...This is our branch campus: Lorenzo de Medici

good morning
and extra for Tap & Deb

Diana - don't worry about the lb - it is just normal day to day up and down yada yada. I need to follow my own advice - I was back up a lb too

Jamie - on the baby steps. You can do this!!!

Lori - how exciting for dd! How old is she now?

Heather

Terry - hows the weather up there? We were in the 60's this week, periods of sunshine, very little rain

Thinking about our MIA - if you are lurking

I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm so frustrated at work - I'm thinking about talking to my boss about it. I don't like some of the stuff I'm doing and I don't think it is what the powers that be envisioned me doing when they moved me out of the Finance department. I'm doing more billing stuff now than when I was in that department and I hate it

I am thismuchcloser to wearing the size 12 slacks so even though the lbs are going so much slower this time I know the inches are coming off. I could kick myself for not measuring at the beginning though

Off to get more coffee and catch up on the news ... have a great Friday

all around

Morning!

Bonnie: I just have to say it's so nice to have you back daily and see you so excited about your WOE Not sure why, but it made me happy today (that and your dancing bear )

Just catching up on everything at work...I'm almost there. Then doing some collection calls I hate those. Why don't people just pay a bill when they get it It's the worst trying to collect outstanding invoices from lawyers.

I had a minor meltdown last night, and I'm still kinda upset about it, so I need to vent.

WARNING-VENT:

Jay is working on and off right now until after Memorial Day (until road restrictions are taken off they can't do much). He hasn't worked at all this week except a safety meeting for 2 hours Wednesday....oh and he went golfing Tuesday with a friend. Well, I of course am working everyday plus I just started summer semester (upped my classes to 12 credits - 3 classes so I can get my degree done). So, I get home from work last night...he's on the couch watching tv and Emma's taking a nap. He tells me that he took pork steak out for supper....but wants me to cook it. So, I put them on the stove, peel potatoes, etc and get that together. Then I was going to sit down and do some school work, but Emma got up. I got her, fed her supper and then sit down to school work.....but the food is cooking so I finish that, eat supper, play with Emma and then she goes to bed (he did that). He comes back and finishes the movie he was watching while I'm reading. It's now 8:00 and he finds another movie on tv he wants to watch. He knew I wanted to watch some shows I recorded on the DVR, but he starts his movie....with the tv at a high volume. After a few minutes I can't take it and go in the bedroom to do schoolwork. He claims he doesn't know what's wrong

Oh - am I wrong here or just PMSing (which is possible ) but he's home ALL DAY LONG, we only have on tv right now (the one in the bedroom blew up), my office isn't finished in the basement because he needs to fix a couple knicks in the sheetrock. WTH does he do all day long????? Why can't he finish my office so I can at least go in there He always makes comments that I'm ALWAYS doing schoolwork, and I can't possibly be doing that everytime I'm on the laptop. He never went to college so has no clue what it takes to get good grades. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't appreciate that I'm doing this not only for me but us - I will (hopefully) get a nice raise once I finish my degree.....and it's not EASY!

Sorry - needed to vent and I just didn't want to get into it last night with him.

Jamie, never give up! You can do it! Congrats to Andy's team!

Jenn, woot on the extra hours!

Wish Tap would check in with us.

Diana, I was just thinking this morning that I should whip out some clothes and see how far I am from getting into them, but I think it's too soon, so I'm holding off on that.

Bonnie, the weather up here has been the same. I had to water last night because our plants aren't established yet. I'd talk to the boss if I were you. One of the most disappointing things about going to work at the bakery was that I was hired to bake. A nineteen year old punk saw they were training me to work in the kitchen and got jealous. She went to our boss (they were pals) and demanded that she be trained instead of me. Because of her, I spent three months stuffing bread into plastic bags. Then her pal left and a new manager came in. The first thing I did was talk to him about me not doing the work I was hired to do. That's when they changed things around and put me on the open hearth oven. Sometimes it pays to speak up.

thanks for the pep talk Terry

Paula - Our situation is a bit different because D is unable to work or do much around the house, but I admit that sometimes I have the same feelings even though I know I shouldn't. When I am unhappy at work is when it bothers me - the rest of the time I am ok with it. D was a workaholic when he was able to work and it is very hard on him not to be able to do something simple like emptying the dw without paying the price. Personally, since J is capable of doing everything I would be very upset with that situation.

Peeking in... Boy has it been busy...
Hiney is still bothering me, but I am dealing with it. I found a new lady to do my hair- I have decided to stay this color through Fall/winter I really like it. She is going to do my low lights and highlights for 1/2 the $ they charged me at the big salon. I am stooked! I am also getting my nails done tomorrow- my Mothers day gift to me. I just have a feeling Casey and Ken will forget Sunday so I will treat myself after Caseys Game on Saturday. Plus Sunday I have so much housework to do. My Brother is coming over Friday through Saturday and I have to get Casey to clean her room- It's an all day Whiney/crying mess when she has to clean! LOL I keep telling her "You don't see me whine and cry when I have to Clean, do dishes, laundry, dust, sweep, grocery shop, bath the dog, fix dinner, and turn around and do this EVERYDAY!" I am just asking for her to clean her room. <evil mom>I tell you- I have those Hefy Leaf bags... I am ready to clear that room out! </Evil Mom>
I tried to Preorder Wii Fit, but they stopped the presells 2 days ago, now I will have to wait until Mid next month to get one, Bummer....

Paula- I think you had every right to be upset. Talk to him about it, work it out to where he can help with Dinner. That's what I do, if something isn't working out I talk to Ken and he is open to help IE- Trash, dinner, laundry. I am sure if he understood what you do all day he will be more willing to help. Remember Men NEVER see what we actually do until we tell them, then its' a Duh moment for them!

I think what gets me the most is when he's actually work, he works LONG hours (12-16 our days, 6 days a week). When he's working I try to make sure to have supper ready and hot for him when he gets home, I make his lunches and get them packed for the next day so he basically comes home, eats, goes to bed. But, he can't even make supper for me when I get home

Don't get me wrong - he does help and he's great with Emma. But, just not what I expect I guess. I guess sometimes I just want in return what I give him when he's working....like he doesn't take my job seriously or something. I know he's said before that he thinks my job is easy - that's a big conversation about jobs cuz his is physical and mine is brain work.

I know I need to talk to him, I just didn't want to get into it last night when Emma was sleeping.....plus with PMS on top of it I wanted to make sure I wasn't just making a big deal out of nothing.

Passing on a valuable lesson I have learned along my journey...............

Other people in our lives, whether they be husbands, wives, friends, bosses, clerks at the stores where we shop, siblings, all of those people, whether we are close to them or not, are not able to read our minds and sometimes need to be told what it is we need.

The lesson: I cannot be annoyed with other people who don't always provide what it is I need if I haven't told them (in a loving manner of course).

Hope this helps..............it certainly made a difference for me.

Good Morning....

My weight is still hanging on... I want those 140's so bad and my body is like... Nope! It's going to be a fight that I will win!
We have a game at 8:30AM, so I have to remember to get Ken up! LOL He wants to be there to coach the girls a bit before the game.

Then I am taking them to Goods Chocolate They are doing a Mothers Day Open house (every year) They have a Giant Chocolate Fondue Fountain and lots of Chocolates and coffees to sample. Don't worry, I have no interest in the stuff. It's more for Ken and Casey, after that I need to run to Wal*Mart for a few Items I missed and then off to treat myself to getting my nails done!

Still waiting on our Stimulus check that was supposed to be in the account yesterday... bummer! We are paying off a few credit cards with it, and looking forward to that! No more Credit card debt after that!

Need to get caught up on my Soaps and CSI Miami on the DVR.... Also looked like Ghost Hunter was a good one last night! I may get to it today after I finish cleaning!

good morning
Diana - we haven't gotten our check yet either and it was supposed to be there yesterday according to the schedule. Our is going into savings for now - we will probably use some of it for vacations later this summer (June & August)

We are going to go to Rainier for abit today and then grocery shopping. I haven't been to the store all week ... I'm trying to do once a week shopping instead of stopping at the store just about everyday for something I forgot.

I'm going to try to go back to sleep for awhile ... Ketosis makes me wake up early but I feel like I need more sleep

have a great Saturday ... all around

I have that same probelm too Bonnie, waking up early, but I feel very rested! I wish those checks showed up... dagnabit!

Looks like they cancelled our game! apparently the phone rang at 10:15 and I was dead to the world. Since it rained the past 2 days they are going to make up the games, then ours. Oh well.... maybe we can squeeze in another practise!

Well I need to run to Wal*Mart, I'll go ahead and get that done!

Enjoy your Weekened everyone!
