Hey guys...
Sorry I wasn't around last week, had to go out of town with a sick dad.... I have been holding to plan, and losing some. 5/1/08- 245 5/19/08- 238 So, 7 gone for the month, and I am at the 30 lost mark overall... Tomorrow is my birthday, and am planning on staying on track. My boat is in the water, and I really want to get another 20 off before summer!!! |

Hey guys, hope everyones weekend was fun. Sounds like we got some good losers checking in so far.
I did 24 miles on my bike Saturday. (Harley, Thats Wyoming to North Branch and back again) My personal pre-weekend weigh in (Friday) was at 234.2. Today it says I'm at 237.2. I dont know how 3 lbs of food suddenly jumped in my mouth but ok...I'll live with that number and hopefully literally sweat it out this week. I actually ate pretty freekin good Sat and Sunday. 5/12/2008 238.2 5/19/2008 237.2 Pass me the metamucil!!!

1/1/08 - 219.6
5/12/08 - 203.2 5/19/08 - 202.0 Highest ever - 265 VFZ - 186 (4/05) Still bouncing between 202-203, but at least I'm on the low end now. This morning's weight is a 2008 low, fwiw. I was hoping to be under 200 by now, but I'll keep working. The weekend went well. The little one is over whatever it was that he had. Me and the boys had a lot of fun. I'm a little sunburned as we spent a bout 6 hours outside yesterday. I should have been as vigilant about putting sunscreen on me as I was the boys... Corpus, I practice in the glamorous field of delinquent ad valorem tax collection. If people don't pay their property taxes (for local schools, cities and counties), we come after them. It sounds like a horrible field, but it's actually really great. If you have clients, there's always plenty of work, the money is good, and so are the hours. The obvious negative is that I sometimes I have give people who are strugglling a real kick in the nuts. Fortunately, most of my clients do not want people displaced from the homes so I don't have to foreclose on many homes. If people try at all, we work with them. |

05/12: 305
05/19: 300.8 -4.2 Hey guys, I'm really happy with this past week. I busted through my one week stall and put up some respectable numbers. This coming week is going to be the big week for me. Point eight pounds to go and then I'm into the 290's. That's pretty fraking cool. TaDa!: Thank you for the shout out. You always brighten up this dank man-cave. Freddie: 7 for the month is already an awesome month. KUTGW Shiner: Congrats on the new low. Mack: No, 300 isn't my VFZ. Back in '05 I set a VFZ of 265. I'm looking forward to meeting that number and blowing it out of the water. Camp is really rolling these last few months. Cheers,

Made in it excel 2007. I honesty think that chart is one thing that is keeping me going. If I dont see it move I get pissed off at myself, and spend some extra time at the gym/eat better till it moves.

well we went out for dinner tonite, i was gonna have a whatever i wanted day,
we ordered a spinach dip appetizer and jesus i was feeling myself get full before that was done, i also ordered a kids meal bacon cheddar burger and fries, there were probably about 30 fries if that and a kids hamburger, well i couldnt even eat half the burger ! but i did drink at least 2 litres of liquid so that filled me up as well, we were planning on having a dessert treat, but i told my wife i think i ate way too much, what a letdown the meal was, i was so excited too but now that i think about it, my biggest problem was portion control, and i think finally i may be getting a bit of a handle on it i would have been happier with a nice low carb meal and maybe a small dessert instead, lesson learned

Hey all, just checking in. I was away from my house last night so was unable to weigh in this morning. I always do it exactly at the same time on the same day, etc. so I'll post the big results tomorrow.
Peace Gs. |

Actually we just split an order of hot wings...not too bad, but not that great either. I expected to see a lot more bikes there. It was a nice ride...first time my wife has been on my cycle for more than 2 years. She really enjoyed it.

Alright here's my delayed weigh-in
Last week 222.2 This week 220.8 The scale's still moving but not quite as quickly as I'd like. I'm sure that's the most common of wishes for all of us. Anyway flying out to my interview at an ungodly hour tomorrow morning. I'll let you all know how it goes! |

Harley Checking In.
Not too much to report today. I did make one of the desserts from the Man's Lo Carb Cook Book last night. It was simply Cream Cheese, Heavy Whipping Cream, and Jello. It turned out pretty darn good for the sweet tooth. My wife tried it this morning and thought it was good too. Take Care Gents. Harley Out! |

Hey Guys,
Worked out yesterday after a week of laying low. Felt good to sweat again. I'm going to give the treadmill a try today to test the ole' leg out before I hit the road. Less distance to hop if I have another issue. I will defiantly do some stretching beforehand. I think thats one of the reasons my leg went south. If that doesn't work I also have a bunch of firewood that I need to start to split n stack so I will be getting some exercise in one way or another. I made an eggcream with cherry crystal light and vanilla weigh protein powder man was that good. Ken don't foget to post us some pics of that floor when you get it done. Freddie Happy B day Ed out

Evening everyone,
Well did a run on the treadmill got around 20 minutes into it and felt the calf starting to tighten up so I slowed down to a fast walk to finish the workout. Feels ok now. Just have to take it easy for a while I guess. Later Ed |

So I've got some pretty serious post workout muscle cramps lately. I saw the earlier posts, so I picked up a Potassium supplement and a Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc supplement. Trouble is, I only started taking them today, and they don't seem to have kicked in yet. I ate a bunch of broccoli today, and I drank some water with electrolytes but I still got crazy cramps in both my quadriceps. I hope the pills start working soon. The Potassium pills are only 3% daily value so I'm not sure how much help they really are.
Side note, does anyone know how much water is too much water. I drank a ton today, and I'm not worried or anything, but better safe than sorry. Cheers, Last edited by warriorscholar : 05-20-2008 at 11:12 PM. Reason: edited for clarification |

Kinda irritated, I forgot one of my ATM card numbers tonight, and the machine ate my card. I'm thinking about closing the account and just switching completely over to WaMu. This is the 3rd time its happened to me, and the bank really isnt all that great anyway. Nite all. |

Good morning fellas. I am staying on plan, although the scale is not moving as much as I would like it to. We'll see, it's still early in the week.
CTI- I have had the same thing happen at the ATM. I have so many passwords, codes, and pin #'s in my head, I don't think it's uncommon to get them mixed up or forgotten every once in awhile. Ed - Glad the leg is working. Every one - Keep up the good work. |
