Hey Guys....Harley Checking in.

I made it to Akron, OH tonight. Just got done eating and need to go out and jog a bit. Eats were pretty good...I ate lunch at Ruby Tuesday and had the salad bar, but had the Thousand Island dressing on my salad and thought I could taste some sugar in it. I tried to scrape some off, but didn't want to look too weird in front of the 2 customers that were there with me.

Nice work Ken on the confrontation....even if you don't get the job, they will know that you are no push over.

Anyone seen the MIAs lately? We had a couple of FNGs that posted a few times, but then backed off (Devinpike, cush75, bigflopman)...what's up? Keep honest and keep posting!!!! Believe me...it helps stay the course!

Word!

CTI - I totally agree! I am a fair weather fan when it comes to Baseball. I have lived in MN my whole life, but just can't get into the Twins during the regular season.....but when it comes to Football, I BLEED PURPLE!!!! And it's been hard for the past few seasons.

Nothing to report on weight here. Haven't been to the gym in a few days, I think I'm still recovering from the weekend, planning on going tonight. I need to drop about 10 pounds in 4 weeks or so. When I head home, my buddies and I are planning on going sky diving and the max weight allow is 250, so I want there to be some buffer there.
nice goal dude...and reward, sounds fun

and you know i'm just joshin' wit' ya

Hey guys,

I don't know why, but a while back I decided that 10 posts per day was the minimum number required to qualify as a good month for camp. Since its the 13 and we're already up to 154 posts thats 11.8 posts per day. Lets keep things lively, eh?

Go Brewers!

What up all? Nothing too exciting to report regarding my eating this week. Been keeping it real with no major screwups. Speaking of trying to get a new job, I've been studying for the past month or so to get a new one and supposedly I should be having an interview next week. Should be tight. I guess there are only two other candidates, one internal and one external and neither should be a home run so here's hoping!

I'd be able to work from the crib which would be really awesome, especially considering eating and exercise!

Anyway, wish me luck and Ken, sorry to hear about the difficulties. Hope it all works out for you! Give 'em hell.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I think my stall is officially broken. As stalls go it wasn't too bad. It only lasted one week, for which I'm grateful.

Cheers,

I think I've found into your stall, Adam. I've been floating around 202-203 for several weeks now. No choice but to KOKO. I know it works.

Harley, watch out for Thousand Island dressing. Ketchup (and all of its sugar) is typically one of the indgredients.

good luck corpus, keep it positive,

well 2 days now ive weighed in at a new VFZ, gonna wait a few more days and see if it sticks, i think it will, but i also think i need to add a few more carbs into my day, i feel im not getting enough right now, but once im in the zone i tend to stay there

something going around in my house today, little guy is all tired and coughing, i feel somethign in my chest again, stupid cold-hot-cold-hot weather

in a foul mood today as well, im letting the stuff get to me, its hard not to, today im going to see a lady who helps people that have been outta the job search dept for awhile, apparently theres a new way to do a resume, who da thunk?? so im gonna go and see her and get all polished up, its been awhile since ive put on a good new job search

this might sound like a weird question, but being all guys here... anyway sometimes i think im going through a mid-life crisis these past few months, feel like i want a life change, job change , etc etc, thats partly why i started the c25k thing and the p90 route, like i wanted something else, anyone else get that feeling and at what age? i'm 36 right now, and not sure whats going on in my head sometimes

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm 31 and I've been practicing law a few years now and HATE it. Hence the new job search that's slightly law related but not a strict lawyer position. I feel like life is way too short to be doing something you hate. For me, living for the weekend is no life at all. I mean, yeah you gotta make a living, but there has GOT to be a way to enjoy it as well.

I realize that I'm not old but was sort of feeling that way and was sick of being a fat **** and know that it's not going to be any easier. I spent most of my 20s at least 40 lbs. overweight thinking "someday I'll get off my ass and get thin". Now's the time. I took up rock climbing and want to get back into cycling/triathlons. I think a health-minded midlife crisis is a great thing. Not a whole lot of good comes from leaving your wife, dating a 22 year old, and buying a silly sports car. Well I guess the dating a 22 year old wouldn't be that bad!

Anyway, it's great that we have support in each other, a bunch of people who have never met. Weird isn't it?

Funny, you're the first person on any website forum (slashdot, myspace, online games, etc.) to ever mention that they knew what that was... nice work Sarge.

Ken, I'm also 36, but haven't hit any "mid-life crisis" stage, yet. Other than wanting to upgrade houses, I'm pretty happy with how things are now at work and home. I guess I'm pretty lucky.

Corpus, good luck on that job. What kind of law do you practice?

well, feeling a bit better now, out of my gray funk, went to see the lady about resumes and cover letters, other than a few tweaks here and there im looking good she said

earlier today i had a potentially huge problem, my hot water heater has been leaking slightly at the cold inlet for about a week or so, luckily after a few hours of monkeying around i got it all back together no leak so far, thing is only 3 yrs old, but i bought it off of some lady who had a bunch of them "extra" ones in her backyard, so no warranty there!!

just finished our p90 sweat workout, feel great now, a little extra energy, but lately i am just not really hungry, i dont know what it is, if its being a little sick, or just all the BS going on for me now, either way i gotta remind myself to eat these last 3 days, im hoping its just a bug i got, cause everyone here is in some stage of being sick

Ed, hope you feel better, i take these Zinc lozenges which have a lot of vitamin C and Echinacea in them, it usually shortens a cold in half, and sometimes if i catch it early enough takes care of it in a day or so

wifes bugging me about having ice cream now, i may go for a protein shake and a double helping of yogurt!, not sure im in the mood for ice cream

Harley Checking in.

Eats are good...excercise, not as much today. I thought I was going to get out of OH early, but the sales guy forgot to order some software, so after an entire day of jumping through hoops and trying to download stuff off my ftp site, I am here another day. Oh well...life goes on.

Ken, I hear you on the changes thing...especially on the job change. I mean, I make a good living and I get to see some cool places, but it gets pretty hard being away from home most of the time. I've got most of the toys that most guys would want (cycle, boat, atvs, snowmobiles, truck, cars), but it would be nice to be home and enjoy the family....But ENOUGH WHINING...We need to rub some dirt on it and get back in the game. We all make choices and we have to lay in the bed that we have made for our selves. Right? RIGHT!!!

Take Care Guys!

Hey guys,

This might sound odd, but at 24 I can completely identify with the mid-life crisis. Things just aren't going the way I had hoped right now. I'm glad I'm in college, of course, but my job just isn't paying enough. The place I'm living in is kind of of pig sty. My one roommate can't seem to clean up after himself and the other cleans only rarely. I feel like I've gotten such a late start. Most my class mates are a good five years younger than I am.

So I'm job hunting, I'm losing the weight, and I'm trying to decide if I should lay down an ultimatum about this house becoming respectably clean, or if I should just find a new place to live. I just feel like every aspect of my life needs fixing.

So yeah, kind of a downer.

Let me know when youre out of town and Ill swing by and use the toys. Just make sure you keep 'em gassed up for me.

Now dudes, I weighed today and the scale hasnt moved AN OUNCE!! that sucks. I'm going strict on myself for a few days and help my body click back to burning stored fat. Im also planning a good long ride over the weekend. A couple of 'em cuz they say 70+ now for a few days outside.

Shake the dust off yer sandals fellas and move fwd. Aint nothing wrong with saying life sucks sometimes cuz it does. But if you waste any more than a day feeling bad...you aint spending time figuring out how to make it better.

I wish you all well, good luck to this battle.

Hey Guys,

Been crazy busy. On the road for the next 3 or 4 days. Trying to stay on plan.

Ken - Listen, I very much know how you are feeling. Just hang tough and follow what you are feeling. Remember what Bill Murray said in Meatballs... "It just doesn't matter! It just doesn't matter!!"

So after a lot of huffing and puffing, I finally made it back to the gym this morning. My sleep cycle is all screwed up so I figured it didnt matter that I went in the morning. Cleaned the car out and made her nice and shiny, so its been a good start to the day.

I finally saw the scale move a smidge today when I got off work. Hopefully that means im back into loser ville.

Excellent! Sage words of advice from Meatballs...

Still on plan. This weekend will be a bit of a challenge as I travel to visit my parents. Even after 4 years of me following this plan, my mom just can't seem to grasp that low-carb is not the same as low-fat. It's mind-boggling.

In the past 24 hours we've had visits from Mack (or was that Sarge?) and Doug! You guys need to drop in more often.

Good Morning!

Yesterday at my biz lunch... tortilla chips, tortillas, beans, rice, potatoes etc.. had a little salad and that's it.. very sad they can't serve anything but rubber chicken...pasta and all these starches at these events

Exercise: 45 minutes 19.1 mph avg ... pushed it pretty hard 9:30 last night so a little fatigue in the legs today but felt pretty good overall

have a great day everyone

Hey Campers,

Feelin a little better today. Scale is well, the scale nothing happening their. Library's been closed for a few days so I'm waiting for that to open up.
My SIL is throwing a big bash this weekend and she requested chili specificlly this chili that I found in the recipe room. I need to expand the recipe for 50 servings, thats a lot of chili. But at least I'll know I can eat that and be legal.
Leg was feeling good until I w
