Hey! That's what I was going to say! But they break your hair off. Better to just pony it and forget it for a while. I braided and pony-tailed a lot while going through those painful middle stages.

A little girl I had the privilege to counsel on Saturday morning called me just now!!! Her name is Cora and she's 9 years old!! She is just precious!!!

feel lousy. better than this morning but still lousy.

came home from GOT to find out that dd17's fish she got a couple weeks ago died. she wanted to promptly go to the pet store and get another one. dh took her instead. I really didn't feel like going out any where. if it was up to me to take her we weren't going tonight.

and yes, I'll pray for Kassi.

Howdy, WITs!

I have been MIA. I have not been eating low-carb-ish at ALL the past three days so I have been laying low because I have been feeling . I have eaten TONS o' chocolate.


You girls seem like you are doing so well! I am jealous.

Tomorrow I am taking the day off cause all my DD's have a dentist appointment. I'm glad cause I have spring fever!

We had such a wonderful time today. Jessi's school did an awesome 3 songs. They had about 10 min. of fame. Henry kept looking at here and said, she needs to be a model. She is about the size of one. I think she wears around a size 2...

We did our shopping in Shreveport, a beautiful 73 degrees today and we went by Boomtown to play and eat. That darn machine ate my money. Oh well, we had fun..

I'll sign off now and hope all of you have sweet dreams. See ya tomorrow.

Nutrition~


Actually, I WAS improving dramatically although I’m certainly not where I want to be yet, but then screwed up BIG TIME Monday, with a huge binge. Right now, I’m feeling the effects of it bad.

Prior to that, I did work on a few things, experimented to see if various things made me “feel” better as far as controlling the BP spikes. Honestly, it doesn’t seem to be food related, so back to the drawing board with that part.



Exercise~





I can’t believe it….I actually felt “well” enough to do some heavy duty exercise. Cleared out the garage around the BBTM (now that the kitchen is done and only the bath stuff is in the way, I could move things around) and got out there for a big workout. Granted, had an immediate headache afterwards, but the fact that I finally am not dizzy and not fatigued (still worn out and tired, but not real fatigue) and CAN get out there to do something really made my day.

AND I did it more than once~!!

Also went on a few walks.


Sense of Accomplishment~

Finished my classes

Finished my outside the scope project at work, tons of other odd things at work all handled promptly.

Cleaned out my closet

Juggled my schedule around so I can do what I want to this weekend.




Personal~

Went cruising with DH

Went antique and thrift shopping

DH went and picked me out a new laptop so I wouldn’t constantly go nuts with how the old one was acting.

Made lots of plans for fun this coming weekend



This weeks goals:
  • Get to 153 (baby steps bob, baby steps)
  • Do one thing to make my soul happy this week!

This needed copying so we can all see it again!!!! Peskie, look at what you did in the exercise dept?!!?!?!? That is a major achievement given all these health things you've been combating!! I am SO proud of you! I know you had to fight to get on that big bad monster but you DID it!!! WOOOOT!

And the eating will come in line. It will Peskie. I know how a binge can affect us on so many levels but you are pressing through it! Press into God and let Him be your strength in this!

Gotta go shower and get out of here. No CBS this morning but our core group from last year is getting together for a breakfast party. Then, getting the wig busted (these highlights are a bit too much), then my last 2 sessions with my U of R girls Hold me. I am going to miss them so much!

[COLOR=darkorchid]Finally made it back to the gym and lovin' it! Alternating swimming, cardio machines and weight machines. Missed Monday because of being exhausted from the festival but have my clothes today and am headed there and actually looking FORWARD to it! (remind me of this at 3:00 today!)[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkorchid]I have stuck exactly on plan for 3 weeks now!!! Who woulda thunk! Am very happy with my loss for that time because I feel I am a bit resistant now due to various medicines. Proves you CAN do it though with persistence!!! My starting weight for the challenge was 158 but actually the day before I was up to over 160 so started with a whoosh so I am counting almost a five pound loss unofficially. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkorchid]Mostly the results are that I FEEL so much better!! I am starting already to feel stronger from exercise and my clothes are also fitting better so better to breathe my dear! [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkorchid]Groups are going well, I'm a little weary of some things and am ready to take a break but I think the girls are not so ready which is good and bad! Am still praying about this. [/COLOR]

Morning girls!!!

I'm down to 150.2 this morning which is way better than I thought it would be! Exercise is still non-existent for me....with my job, my traveling and my extra houseguests right now (DD, DSIL & DGD are living with us for 5 weeks until they leave for Scotland) I barely have time to turn around let alone exercise.

Nate (my next grandson) is now due any day so I'm living with my cellphone in my hand just waiting on that call. Then Tyler (the next grandson) is due in 30 days. No wonder I feel like my world is spinning almost out of control lately! lol
