My head started immediately hurting BUT I felt better about myself for having pushed myself to do it. If I keep on, maybe I WILL find the mojo again.

Should we start a new Boomerang Challenge for May? Get back to goal weight?

I think the Boomerang challenge was the last one I did well with.

Quit already. You can't blame everything on being 60. You act like nobody ever lived that long without having those things happen. Just blame it on what it is instead of on your age.

All I meant was that since I turned 60 I can't have coffee anymore, and that's it. I'm not quite sure what you want me to blame it on.

thanks. me too. this is getting OLD!

home from the shelter. did not have many kids and there was another lady there to help me. (she is the one that is going to be getting paid now that my month is over). I will go back to volunteering and going in to help but not HAVING to .

the last few weeks we've had a LOT of kids but this week we started with 4 and I had to send for the mom of 2 of them because one of her kids was sick. ended up with only 2 kids (2 SWEET kids) and 2 workers, lol.

sure wish I didn't have shelter tonight and I really hope they have someone to help me tonight. if Not, dh will run dd17 down if I have too many kids to do by myself. I am exhausted, have a sinus headache and would just like to stay home but this is my last week of my committment to them so I'll go. dh and I are going to sit in the hot tub tonight. maybe that will help my sinus headache and the tension in my muscles so I'll get a good night sleep.
stews, I am so glad that you got medication today. You take good care of yourself...

JUST took my midterm for my health class. I was undecided of if I would take it this evening or tomorrow. I really wanted to get it done!!! Sooo, I did.

Got my results back instantly.... So, score for my Midterm: 4.0!!!!!!

It's almost ten, and short of a short reprieve talking with my bestest girl in the world, my britches have been glued to a chair doing homework since one this afternoon.

Is there anything greater then when your head hits the pillow and you know you don't need to be anywhere but there, & you don't need to do anything except melt into your sheets...

Yes - I think there is. It's waking up to a warm mug of COFFFFEEEE!!!!

Night all....

ETA: thought I'd share this reply I wrote a few minutes ago in my journal, in response to my best friend talking about the boys... Wanted to share a laugh:

They definetely shoot my heart to the moon.

As for sharing with them how much I love them, I think it's important to love with all your heart and not to hold ANYTHING back.

As for egos - Timbers wasn't born with much modesty... I look at him all starry eyed, bend to kiss his cheek and say, "Your the GrEaTeSt little boy..."

His reply?

"I know."

and once, when I said this, his reply was:

"You mean in the WHOLE world? The GREATEST little boy in the whole world."

Little stinker!!!

Have you tried wearing it yet? Maybe get it to stretch out a little bit?

Does anyone have one of these? Cause I am thinking I am going to need to get one so I don't look so
