only have a minute. Our Youth pastor stopped me today and said he'd like to talk to dh and I. said he talked with dd the other day and wants to bring us on board. um, why does that scare me?

He's supposed to be at 4 so whatever it is he wants to talk about I'll know soon enough. hope it's a good thing and not something else for me to stress about. yikes!

anyway, something good came of it. my kitchen, dining room table, downstairs bathroom and living room are clean, lol.

I don't think he's asking us to do anything, but I suppose I could be wrong, LOL. don't know why I don't think so, maybe because he's leaving. H recently announced his resignation. this will be his last month as our youth pastor. I guess, he still could be asking something from us, but just don't have that feeling.

. you know, I'd be happy if that's what it is as opposed to a concern with one of our kids, lol.

I just got back.
Good day today.
Did some shopping.
Had a long walk on the bike trail.
Saw some of the Informant movie being made.
And got to visit with a friend!

Things'll be alright. Sloshin' around in the mud puddles is fun - just sometimes you get a little rain in your boots. *smallgrins*

Lawn is mowed up (mowed it earlier before everything happened). GORGEOUS warm (60's) day. *melt*

Got the house picked up to - I've noticed that by sifting and sorting this Winter and getting things organized - it's really helped me to be able to keep on top of the house with out it seeming like an impossible task.

It's company presentable daily and has been since before Easter - and let me tell you, it wouldn't have been for two days in a row before...lol

Just wanted to say there is hope if you're where I was with it.

It IS possible!

Now I spend not even two hours a day - probably often less - to maintain it.

No, we hadn't booked it, we'd just decided to go to the beach and figured early May it couldn't be but SO crowded, even though our favorite haunts were booked.

We wanted to see the ocean. I got a little exasperated and started wishing I had went there instead though.

DH wanted to go to the beach and I wanted us to so that I'd have a chance at our normal yearly vacation being somewhere else for a change.

And the hotel was noisy.We HAD to laugh at ourselves this morning though.* When we first got married, we'd have been thrilled with that room.* Funny how not being poor changes your perspective of what's acceptable.*It was oceanfront though, so that's good.

it's nothing dd has done. it's just some concerns and I'm sad where our relationship is. I'm tired of praying and praying and nothing happens. except actually, the youth pastor may have been an answer to my prayers even though I didn't think of that at the time, lol.

I'll be ok. just temporarily falling apart at the moment.

Life sure is complicated, though it helped me earlier to remember that He's there for me.... and as I was cleaning up the bedroom and making the bed I was bawling and talking loudly to him...

I just said, "God I need your help. I can't do this alone..."

I think sometimes that helps, is to just give it to Him....
