Oh, heck yeah, it's hourly !!! No idea why they want us in that early. However, the conference managers, if they are true to form, will probably make changes to the layout on the fly. We get set up, they don't like, we have to move it 1' over.

Henry came in and turned the t.v. over to golf so I am recording rest of my movie. I love to watch golf too, but much rather be playing.

watching golf is boring, lol. but then, playing it doesn't look so much fun either. looks to frustrating to me. I'm glad you enjoy it, though patty. my daddy LOVES playing and both my sisters have started playing too.



I'm back from shopping and picking dd17 back up from helping at the special olympics. she was with the medics crew and when someone fell or had something wrong would go check it out. if it was something they could handle like a scrape that needed a bandaid or muscle cramps they took care of it, if it was something more they'd call in the experts.

I also found some things to add to the sunday school donations for the mom that is getting some help through the shelter that had a baby this past week and had nothing. whatever she doesn't need that is donated the shelter will use or give out as needed.

man, it was hard to decide. I wanted to buy everything. wish I were rich.

I also can't seem to get rid of a stupid headache today. blah.

Seems like yesterday was a none-day. Nails and shopping in the morning, errands in the afternoon, a little hanging at the local saloon to check in with friends, and delivery dinner.

I was beat.

Tonight is going to be a lonnnnggggg one. We have a 3pm in time and the function doesn't even start till 9PM. And it goes till 1AM. It'll probably be 2am by the time we get done.

It's the grand opening after-party for the Jersey Boys show. Franki Valli is supposed to attend.

I hate golf too, watching or playing although our annual golf tournament makes me have a teeny hope that I MIGHT like it when I'm older doubt it though. I like more high energy stuff normally. Not that I HAVE high energy lately

Oh, girls, I didn't think that I would like golf either. Henry tried to get me to play 4 years before I did it, and now I can't see anything more that I would like to do, and believe you me, you need High Energy to play. Golf is not a sissy game by all means and I have the beautiful days and scenery that God puts before me, and I can see our creator in it, as I play and enjoy being outside.

Patty I didn't mean you don't get good exercise I mean I like a more fast, active type of sport like tennis, aerobics or a good vigorous hike more of a cardio workout. I guess I like that adrenaline soar and endorphin high that comes with it mostly. I don't know but I have always been that way. BUT that is one reason my knees sort of got worn out early I think because I tend to push myself beyond what I should and always have been that way. I way overused my joints and not am paying I guess. Anyway, I am TRYING to proceed with caution this time. I have very low energy so far so it's easy not to overdo it I'm afraid. Don't know where that comes from.

Hi friends! Busy day. I helped with an open house at my school and then DH and I had a lunch and movies date. We saw Made of Honor...pretty cute! I loved the scenes in Scottland! Then we went to the mall and got a few things. I got my older girls four Roxy shirts each, so they were loving me when I got home!

Stews, hope your headache is on the mend.

Landis, remeber what 24-hour fitness' slogan is: moderation is the key to a great work out!

Patty, good for you, playing golf! If nothing else, there is a lot of walking involved and it can be a nice relaxing way to spend a few hours.

Maria, what color did you get your nails? I love me a mani and pedi!

MK, it's nice that your DD has you to talk to. It sounds like she misses talking to you like she did when she was younger. It must be nice to know she still needs you that way, right?

Hey Skinny Minnie Yeah I know that moderation is the key in my MIND but I just can't get my BODY to follow it somehow, always struggled with it. I am better now but before I had no idea it was bad for it. It took a while to figure it out actually. THEN someone told me after I had done the damage I am not bad though, just easy to hurt my knees and neck mostly. If I am careful I do okay.

Hey girls.

Russ is working today, as he was called to fill in for a day at a previous place of employment. He really likes the people so was happy to help out. Started around one this afternoon (45 minute drive each way also) and doesn't get off until one am tomorrow morning. I tried to convince him to crash at his sister's house, which is close by - though he said no, he wants to come home to his family... Hope he's not too tired driving home.

Been doing homework most the day, with a breif interlude of a coworker/friend bringing by her 11 month old only grandbaby... Cutest little girl... She made my day.

Now, I am thinking I still have plenty of work to do, though my brain hurts - so I am going to rest and relax some here and enjoy a quiet evening...

I'd get annoyed and move it 1 foot back after they left and see if they noticed . . .

Golf is not high energy the way I play.
I don't keep score.
I just wander along and hit the ball.
I don't use a riding cart, just the kind you pull.
