His response:

Didn't say where he heard the word, though proclaimed he looked it up at school in the dictionary...

Anyone else remember doing that in school.... And we all thought we were "sneakin'"..... Like noone else before us had ever thought of that.

*snort* it's beginning! actually, as sad as it is I think it's about the right age because of how much they hear in school. I had the talk with both my girls in the 4th grade because I wanted them to hear the info correctly from me, instead of talk from the playground which may or may not be totally accurate.

I will NEVER forget dd17's reaction. she said "that's just WRONG!"

so..what'd ya say? lol that he looked it up in the dictionary. what was the definition from webster?

Oh, one more thing. I am now sitting at the computer with my window open and such a nice breeze coming through and listening to the children playing across the lake at the Lodge. dh is at work today, dd17 is volunteering at the special olympics spring games this afternoon. I have a few errands but other than that I'm stayin' HOME and going to get some things done around here at some point, lol.

Hi stews!!

So far today here:

DD21 dropped by with issues - she thinks the sorority seniors are stupid and they made some of the fraternities mad . . . then the university president had issues with the newspaper about a slanderous article about another admin guy (DD21 is copy editor on the paper) . . . and she yelled at her BF for agreeing with the wrong side . . . and her dance concert is tonight . . .
She came over to get one of her formal dresses to lend to another girl and talked nonstop - I swear - for 20 minutes. I don't think she took a breath!

So going along with the dryer and ice maker, now the front door lock doesn't work.
So I sent DH out to buy a new one.
Now we'll have to repaint the front door, since you know this one won't match exactly . . .
And DH has lost the van keys and his house keys . . .

This is almost funny!

We did get that last piece of wallpaper border up in the laundry room - after I paid way too much on ebay for it.
But the part of the room I can do anything with is done!

I'm thinking I should just go watch a movie!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Seems like yesterday was a none-day. Nails and shopping in the morning, errands in the afternoon, a little hanging at the local saloon to check in with friends, and delivery dinner.

I was beat.

Tonight is going to be a lonnnnggggg one. We have a 3pm in time and the function doesn't even start till 9PM.

And it goes till 1AM. It'll probably be 2am by the time we get done.

It's the grand opening after-party for the Jersey Boys show. Franki Valli

is supposed to attend.

Hi, I just got through doing my weights for 20 min. I can tell that I am getting stronger. I can do them longer now. Some I am having to do just a little at a time, but that's OK.
