Peanut and I had a cup of coffee together and a little chat this afternoon after school ... Just some time - Mommy and Peanut - to enjoy each other.

Made him feel all special and grown up to have a cup of coffee with hazelnut, just like Mommy's. lol

He looks at me over his coffee and says, "Your a good Mom..."

I told him he makes my job easy because HE'S such a good son.

He's at that precarious cusp of maturity right now... Turning eleven on July 22nd. Sometimes, like this afternoon at the dining room table talking, I catch a glimpse of the young man he's evolving to be. It sends my heart soaring and crushes it all at the same time.

I understand.

My sister and I talk and say that between the two of us we have the best world. Because of her line of work she gets to travel all over the states and loves it... In that, I live vicariously through her - While I am doing the whole Mom thing. We enjoy both worlds through one another.

I know I say this every time but the group was GREAT tonight! I love hearing how the women are growing and dealing with things in new better ways! It seems like always God sends one of them to encourage me too during or after. I guess He knows I need that!

Speaking of wonderful lives..I LOVE MINE TOO! I have everything I could have ever dreamed of and it's not material things (though I have PLENTY) and not that everything is PERFECT. It is that I am living my dream by counseling and finally getting the education I had always dreamed of. It is being married to my very best friend in the whole world. It is having the hope, joy and peace that passes all understanding because I know the ONE who gives it and that's the BIGGEST thing and really the only thing that matters when I really think about it. Without HIM I would be nothing. I am SO thankful and full of happiness and contentment tonight as I type this. I am thankful for my son too who God is working on even NOW calling Him back to Himself.

Thanks Sunny for reminding me! I am the most blessed woman in the world (along with you and Peskie of course!)

It is a boy! His name is Nathan Lewis (after both granddads) and we will call him "Nate". I can hardly wait to see the little guy - and I get to be there for the birth. Please please please pray with me that he makes his grand entrance when I'm in town! I'm so afraid of being gone and missing it!
