I bought a whole bunch of white begonias for the front of the house which is sage green with black shutters. I really like all white against the green but I may do some purple edging. We have some holly and hickory bushes and a big magnolia tree. I'll try and take pics tomorrow. I grew up in apartments so this is the first time I'm "gardening". DH had to stop me from pulling out plants that I thought were weeds last time I was out there so I'm not allowed out unattended.
Be sure to post them!! I want to imagine you there!

After working 3 days straight, my body feels really out of whack. I think I am really really going to have to start exercising when I am not working. I do a lot of physical work, and having more than 2 days off straight I get really lazy. Then I go back to work, and I am sore all over.

Plus pushing a loaded flatbed full of beer/wine on new carpet has got to be worse than a treadmill at a steep incline.

She's right, absolutely right! I still remember people that helped me when I was that age because there were VERY few that took the time to do so.

I thought about exercising for 10 minutes, talked about it for 5 minutes....does that count???

I'm trying to plan our anniversary trip! Just can't come up with anything for 4 days that doesn't involve spending 2 of them driving or a home equity loan for 2 plane tickets! Darn fuel prices!!!

I know mine won't keep going like this. I did the meat/egg fast for three days to get mine going. It WORKED! Back to regular eating today though withl LC but adding veggies and things. I am also doing fitday even though I resent it TERRIBLE!

I know what you mean about the fuel prices. That's why we're combining family visits with our vacation this year in Florida. I told someone yesterday if I had the money to open a scooter business with road legal scooters, I bet it would FLOURISH in the next few years! Michael's 250 Honda Helix gets 65 MPG!!!

We usually go to Pigeon Forge if we want a short trip. Do you have any kind of place like that around you? Maybe you should move here!

Good morning girls.

landis, congrats on the weight loss. I know that you are thrilled.

Princess, I thought of you so much yesterday when I was playing golf. Wish you could have played with me. I can't believe the upper body strength that I have now that I have been lifting weights. I can hit that ball a country mile. Actually, I had some better hits yesterday then Henry did and I think that aggravated him, but we had FUN!

Good Morning Pam and to all the rest of you girls.

I am going to be cleaning house today.

Morning Girls.

Up from 2:30 to 4:30, then up for good at five (wicked cramps). Fun being a woman, isn't it?

Just enjoying a warm mug of french roast coffee with hazelnut....

Suna I know how you feel Sweetie, and hope you get to feeling better quick. Take you some Ibuprofen and that will help you with the cramps. That is the only thing that use to help me.

They are usually pretty managable, except for last night - enough to wake me up and keep me up. I couldn't lay there - tried turning from one side to the other - and finally decided I just had to get up, that it would help to be sitting up and moving.

I had some extra strength advil, and took that.

doody! have a great day!

Suna, sorry you are hurting. I was up at 2:30 too. the phone rang. dh got called into work. now pray my daddy can help this morning with transportation. eeeeeeeek!

I was sleeping good last night too, then of course Kadie thought it was time to get up and she wouldn't calm down knowing dh was up so I brought her downstairs to see him walk out the door hoping she would then be willing to relax. it worked. after he left we went back to bed and she went right to sleep, lol.

I have GOT after school. I'm tired but hopefully will have some energy for the walk. I'll get it in no matter what but don't wanna right now.

bible study last night was good. I love listening to Beth moore. wish I could hear her in person.

suna, do you ever use a hot water bottle. the heat sometimes will help a little. I use to fall asleep with one sometimes when my cramps were that bad.

whew, called my daddy. He is going to take dd17 to fire science and pick her up. I was worried he would be busy and not be able to. I feel bad having to wake him up but I there was no way around it.

He does always say he doesn't care if he gets woke up. we can call him ANY tim day or night. of course, that is always followed up with a little brag about being retired so he can sleep any time, lol.

That's a good idea Stews. I don't think I have a water bottle, though there may be a heating pad here somewhere. I haven't had them this bad since I was younger, so usually just take ibuprofen and call it good.

be careful! I would use a heating pad for daytime but they aren't recommended to fall asleep with them. maybe if you have one that has a timer so it will shut off after a certain amount of time.

next time you are in town get a hot water bottle. they aren't too expensive and come in handy when you need something like that over night. both my girls use them sometimes.
