What are you eating that you are still hungry?

I know that for me, if I don't get eggs and protein and fat in the morning, then I will be hungry all day.

I eat pretty sensible all day, except once I get to work, those single serving bags of chips are there taunting me. Usually they win. Not yesterday, though. I totally ignored them. But, in all fairness, I had a good filling lunch before going to work.

My other problem is, when I get off work, I am so thirsty and wound up, that the only thing that relaxes me is a few cold beers or drinks. Unfortunately, that can turn into a 6-pack. But I've been alternating them.

WOE: whatever it takes to be a good, energetic mommy!!
sausage links for breakfast.

bunless hotdogs w/cheese, mustard and chili for lunch

And I wanna snack so bad....emotional eating It's not true hunger. I'm downing the coke zero trying to convince myself that it's satisfying me.

Never mind

Got it figured out. I always think I'm hungry when my BP starts going up. I just checked and sure enough.

This is driving me nuts.

I don't think you are not getting enough calories and protein here. Don't you do salads, cheese and eggs?

Could it be nitrates in the sausage and hot dogs that are making your BP go up?

Or does your BP go up because you ARE hungry?

I get hungry WHEN my BP goes up, not vice versa. There doesn't seem to be any similarities in what I eat prior to it going up, only afterwards and I eat CRAP afterwards.

Be right back with cals.

Lately 6 zillion.

In my prime losing season, it was below 1500 cals and 45 carbs daily, roughly.

In maintenance I was at about 1700 and 60-70ish, give or take a little.

But you really haven't had any carbs today. Or probably enough fat to keep you satiated.
Do you use Fitday? Maybe that might help.

Would love to stay and chat some more, but I've GOT to go get ready for work. I am really cutting the time short.

I've used fitday every day since July 2004, whether I was on plan or not. Not enough fat is definitely NOT the problem today. 79%, 111 grams.

Thanks for the chat. It's been fun. Have a great day at work!

About which thing? The hungry thing for the first few days?

Back from the gym!!! I am TIRED but SO glad I went. I really tried to talk myself out of it this time!!! I didn't have enough calories today I think so I was a little weak. I didn't eat because I wasn't hungry. Just ate 8 pieces of chocolate cake and some ice cream. I thought I might try CAD. That was dinner.

Just got in from 2.5 hours of gardening. Pulling out these horrible ground-covering evergreeny type disgusting roots-that-go-all-the-way-to-hell low shrubs.

What a messy, disgusting job. No wonder DH didn't do it last year. I guess it was good exercise but I won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow.
I'm off here to iron my clothes and do my nails.

See you in the morning!

I didn't even get to the weeds!

I bought a whole bunch of white begonias for the front of the house which is sage green with black shutters. I really like all white against the green but I may do some purple edging. We have some holly and hickory bushes and a big magnolia tree. I'll try and take pics tomorrow. I grew up in apartments so this is the first time I'm "gardening". DH had to stop me from pulling out plants that I thought were weeds last time I was out there so I'm not allowed out unattended.

home from shelter but have to leave for bible study in shortly. busy busy day. I see the light at the end of the tunnel though. this was my last day I absolutely HAD to work at the shelter (paid for the month of April) so I'm back to volunteering and being able to skip it if I really want.

also only have through next week for GOT except we are meeting the following thurs for a party with the girls after school.

I've enjoyed the time with the girls but am ready for it to be over, lol.

My DH does that. Course mostly all we have is WEEDS now so it's no problem PLUS the fact that I'M the one that does all the weeding I would like to have a yard like they do in Arizona with sand and cacti and rocks
