***SHORTIES - Week of April 28 *** - Page 6

Hey girls, I'm back, remember me? LOL. had Miss Alyss all weekend so Kim and Brad could pack, Kim said everything is ready to go except what they need to use this week. And I FINALLY got the bird room cleaned. It's crazy, but they get grumpy when they're room is messy and it WAS this time cuz I hadn't cleaned it when Emma was sitting on the eggs, then that didn't work out and THEN I got busy with Alyssa and the packing. This is the longest that it's gone without being cleaned. I'm going to paint it and put new border up when John goes to Canada this July. Tomorrow I'm stopping by Lowes and get some paint samples and some sample borders. Brad said he'd get me his discount. I am leaning towards maybe a soft sage since some of the birds are green, but then I was thinking about a VERY PALE grey. Decisions, decisions, geez, it's just a darn birdroom. But I'm sure they want to have a nice color to look at. LOL.

Cindy, your DD is gorgeous, send us the pics of DD18. So, we all need to post how many kids we have and their ages, cuz everyone's blending together for me. I'm sure you all know that I only have 1, Kim will be 26 on August 22, unless you count John, he's DH49, will be 50 in July. haha.

Kim, Alyssa and I are going to go get our pics taken for his birthday, since we never know what to get him. I usually get him a gift card for fishing tackle but I want something for him to remember of his 50th birthday, so I thought a picture of the 3 of us and a gift card. Mom is going too and we're getting the 4 generations, she's not too happy about it cuz she hates, hates, hates her picture taken, but we're dragging her along anyway, cuz not every woman lives to see her great-grandchild.

Not much going on here, too pooped to even think right now. So, toodles for tonight, see you all on the new thread in the morning.

busy day. was up at 5 and off to husband's first race as race director. came home exhausted( slept poorly as usual) and napped and off to work. So couldn't get in here.

Cindy, your shoes look like mine. Are they Asics Gel Kayanos? That is what mine our.

No time to post. will catch you on the new thread. I better get to sleep!
