With most improvements some surprises and damages are not uncommon...
the owner on site the whole time is the best defense. The backhoe was probably sub contracted and really they are not small vehicles to skip around sprinkler heads.... perhaps the landscaper knew there would be broken heads... if there was another way around those heads then the landscaper should be made to pay for their replacement.

Deb - I agree with Jamie - please talk to your doctor. This is starting to take a toll on your health, both physically and mentally and there are medical and counseling options to help you through this.

My boss is gone all week (she is in Mexico) so it should be a quiet week. I love my boss but she interrupts me all day long just like everyone else does

I have to be in at 6:30 tomorrow morning to set up a WebEx meeting

At least I will get off early

Dancing With the Stars is on tonight, which means I won't get to bed as early as I need to for getting up early tomorrow. Maybe I can sneak a quick catnap in before tonight's show.

Marie... just quick to say all my 3 dogs at home and 2 at mom's are doing fantastic..

My feral dog is the smartest and most fun!! imagine if I had paid $5,000 for him I could not be more impressed he is simply amazing...

I love when my co worker is not there... I get triple work done...but I do love her....just have to control chat and defer questions until my tasks are complete... not always simple...

Morning!

Back from our trip up north to visit our friends - we had a great time but we're all tired. Jay got the call this past weekend to come back to work, so that's where he is this morning, and little miss Emma is at daycare. I know she loves it there because she doesn't even care when I leave her.

I'm planning on hitting the gym tonight after work - I just have to take Emma to the daycare they have there for an hour. I need to go - or take Emma for a walk tonight which is a possibility too.

My NSV from the weeked....when we go visit these friends it's the HARDEST place to stay on any kind of diet, plus they threw Emma birthday party up there. I didn't worry about figuring out points, just ate "sensibly" and what I considered within my points range. When I weighed last night at home I had lost a little weight up there

Very happy with that.

Breakfast today was Taco Scrambled Eggs (scrambled eggs with leftover taco fixings)

Lunch will be a Hamburger Patty with Swiss Cheese and Green Beans with Butter

I'm not sure what dinner will be - I forgot to take meat out and will have D take what he wants out

late... someone is messing with my email address and sent bulk mailings many of which are comeing back to me... crazy... now I have to figure this out... and how to get it all to stop... they did not use my addresses... just my business email addy

Ok scale was stupid this morning... up a couple..

But I have on day 2's outfit butter shorts, and Brooks Brothers tiny 3/4 length sleeved fitted no iron shirt, white with pale purple and blue and black stripes, ... and my long pearls... oh the shirt is out because the shorts are still too tight to tuck in....

and black sandals...

Must remain in good posture for this shirt not to pull at the bust...

So controlled eating and constant reminders to myself to smile lots (somewhere thru the last few years I lost my smile...) and now have to work at it

, and stand and sit

with great posture are my personal goals for today.

DWTS - I thought Marissa was good but I wouldn't put a very in front of it. She sounded like a Howler Monkey when she got her nines. I didn't make that up, I read it somewhere and it sounded about right

I think Marlee will go tonight - she has had a rough last two weeks, just like Priscilla did her last two. I wouldn't mind at all if it is Marissa who goes though - not only do I not like her, it doesn't help that I don't like Tony either. The country number was chaotic but I thought Jason stood out considering he was not thrilled about doing a country routine. He was on Adam's radio show the other day talking about it. My favorite Tom moment of the night was his Jason being in a Cowboys uniform comment

I found out yesterday my ex SIL's mother is in our Hospice Care Center

They didn't expect her to last much longer. I haven't talked to them, but I imagine it is hard on my nephews - it is almost a year to the day they lost their other grandma (my Mom)

I need to get my rear in gear so I don't go back to sleep - a few people signed up for the WebEx session I have to set up so I need to get 'er done.

Pam, I feel your pain. Scale was up a couple of pounds today despite clean eating yesterday. Oh well, I guess we can't lose every day, but wouldn't that be nice? Well, I take that back. When I was starving myself on Kimkins I lost every day. Not worth it.
